1924 Sellers Klearfront Kitchen Cabinet. Just completed restoration a couple of months ago. Everything you see on this cabinet is original to it. Including all the hardware, racks, side brackets, Flour Bin& Sifter, Steel casters w/Ant Traps(Inscribed"Sellers" the porcelain Work Pan, Meat Grinder Bracket, etc. etc. The cabinet was stripped to bare wood. I have seen these jar before with the red paint with so much wear. This jar has no wear that I can see and I have held it up to the light to make sure. It has not been repainted. The only place I see any wear is on the lid and a minimal bit of wear can be seen there(see picture) Inside the jar around the lip. I can feel just a tiny bit of roughness but there are no major chips. I love this old jar and they are so hard to find.especially in this condition. Description A previously owned and very lightly used vertical rib panelled canister jar. No chips. Nicks, cracks, stains or cloudiness. There is some paint wear on the metal screw on/off lid. Up for sale today is a cool Antique Clear Glass Spice Jar from a Hoosier. Sellers, or Kitchen Cabinet. This jar has a ribbed design, with a shoulder around the center to hold it in a rack, and a blank spot for a label. It also has its original pressed metal or tin lid. The jar stands approx. 4 1/4" tall(including the lid) and approx. 2 1/8" in diameter at the bottom(not including the shoulder) Its in great original condition. Depression Sellers Hoosier Cabinet, clambroth, ribbed, jar
Up for bids is this unusual Depression Glass canister made as an accessory to Hoosier Cabinets. It was made by the Sellers Company. The canister is marked Sellers in great BIG letters on the bottom. It is missing its tin lid. The glass has no chips or cracks. There are many air bubbles all throughout the glass. It as manufactured between 1915-1930's. The color is called clambroth. The canister is 7 inches tall. 7 inches wide, and the width of the opening is 5 ½ inches wide. I describe& photograph each item to the best of my ability. Beautiful Oak Hoosier Kitchen cabinet frosted glass doors
his auction is for a wonderful old Kitchen cabinet. It has a top with a frosted glass designed glass in the door fronts. all of the latches work great and the left side has two shelves. and it has two doors at bottom that go the whole lenght of the cupboard. It has a zinc top which is all original. the bottom has a large door that has a wire pull out shelf and a holder in the door the right side has 3 drawers the bottom one is a tin one that was used for bread originally. It is all oak and in great sturdy condition. It has been in my kitchen for a long time and believe me it will hold alot of linens and kitchen items. IT ORIGINALLY HAD SIDE SLIDING ROLL UP CENTER DOORS WHICH WE HAVE BUT THE WOULD HAVE TO BE REFURBISHED TO USE THEM. THESE DOORS CONSIST OF A CANVAS BACK WITH SLATS ADHERED TO IT. THE CABINET ORIGINALLY HAD INTERNAL COMPONENTS SUCH AS A FLOUR BIN AND LOWER TIN DRAWERS THAT WERE GONE WHEN WE GOT IT.THERE ARE A FEW PARTS THAT CAME WITH IT THAT I HAVE NOT TRIED TO IDENTIFY. THE ONLY NOTICEABLE CHIP ON THE SLIDE OUT ENAMEL TABLE IS ABOUT I/3 FROM THE RIGHT FRONT EDGE. THERE ARE A COUPLE MORE CHIPS VISIBLE ON THE UNDER SIDE IN THE SECOND PIC. I've shown all the pieces with an Ellowyne Wilde doll who is 16" tall. These also look great with Gene dolls. These are from the late 1950's. Early 1960. My mother-in-law had pink appliances in her kitchen in 1959, when their house was new! Wolverine made in U.S.A. Early Glass Canister Jar With Tin Lid Overall very good condition with normal wear from age and use. There are scratches and scuffs all over the glass. One side of the jar is flat. So it can sit on 2 sides. There is a lip in the middle and I suspect the lip and the flat side are designed to fit into a holder within a Hoosier or Sellers type cabinet. The top rim has normal roughness and a ground edge. This is OLD. There is a slight greenish tint to the glass. Provenance written on tape stuck to the bottom. The tin lid is old and period to the jar, but we are not sure if it original or not. About 9" Tall x 7" Diameter. Offered as found in very good Original Condition but could use a good cleaning. A Vintage{ I am guessing based on the designs painted on the front of the cabinet) Hoosier Cabinet Baking Unit. with a slide out white enameled Top. has a metal drawer on the bottom right. and a matching small side cabinet also with an enameled Top. Here's the story. this unit came from a century home located in the Appalachia area of southern Ohio. was moved to my daugher's home where it has sat for the past 10 years on blocks in the basement. she finally decieded it dose not fit into her home different deco and no space. This is a pick-up preferred the cabinet is located in Cleveland Ohio. But as always shipping can be arranged. This is a nice medium size unit not as tall as a lot of them. Please ask questions.

Antique Hoosier Cabinet Floral Painted Canister Jar. Measures approximately 6 1/2" Tall. 5" Wide with a 3 1/2" Lid on top. The top edge of the'hole' the lid screws on has a few very small chiggers from years of use. I note some scratches on the high points of the bottom of jar as you would expect from sitting and sliding on a counter. I also must note some paint wear on the tin lid around the knurled edge from gripping. A great old canister.not a reproduction. No cracks or breaks. This auction is for this old original kitchen cabinet glass flour or sugar jar. Not sure if it was for a Hoosier/Sellers cabinet or some other cabinet maker, it is approximent 8 3/4" tall by 6 1/2" in diameter, the lips outer edge 4 7/8" inner lip 4 3/8" It has the flat side to fit up to the cabinet and it has a outer round part of jar and the inner round part, I guess to fit a holder ring is the purpose for it to be made like this.
