This unit has four compartments including two adjustable shelf compartments behind hinged doors and two file drawers on full extension suspensions. A shallow drawer on wood glides with pencil tray and adjustable drawer divider are above each file drawer. Both file drawers can be locked. This is a mounted unit and it is 74 inches across. The keys have the Herman Miller logo. There is also a coin in one of the drawers which has the Nelson/Miller information. This item is oiled rosewood and is likely from around 1967. Wowee! What a rare find! This is a Boltabest tray in the"Terrain" pattern designed by George Nelson and associates! The exact associate designer I'm not sure but totally fantastic! A really hard to find mid century piece! This tray measures 14"x 18" and is a large cafeteria tray. The front of it is overall good condition with some wear near the corners and a couple of small yellowy spots. See pics. Most of the wear looks near the corners,maybe from years of cafeteria stacking. That's how I found them in a stack here in Grand Rapids, MI. The back shows a lot more wear in the way of mostly non-dimensional scrape marks from lunchtime use! This super sturdy and highly collectible tray would be perfect for use or at home on display! Mid Century Modern Authentic Vintage 1950s George Nelson Saucer Lamp Adjustable
Selling a vintage Nelson saucer lamp from 1958. Features brass hardware in good condition. And has an adjustable weighted cloth cord(see second photo for the cord partially extended) Color is a pale yellow, but reads as white when on. Takes bulbs up to 200W. The lamp is in good vintage condition. There are four small holes on the top side of the lamp. As shown in pictures 5 and 6. They are not noticeable when the lamp is installed, especially because they are on the top side that no one should see! Please remember that vintage and retro items are 50+ years old, and have lived a little. Lamp measures 24" in diameter and 10" tall.

This desk was well kept but does have some minor wear from regular use as detailed below. The wood roll top is in very nice condition with little wear. The sides of the desk were originally ... moreblack. The previous owner painted the sides of the desk as well as the top of the file cabinet flap in brown tones as pictured. The inside of the file cabinet has a black mark as pictured, the inside smells kind of like a wood fire(this desk came from a very cool artist's compound and spent its life next to a wood burning stove. It is not very notable if you have the flap down and kind of gives the desk great character but should be mentioned. One little spacer and screw are missing on the drop down flap glide as shown in picture 16(there is also a scratch to the side of the desk also pictured in this image) this should be an easy fix but still works fine as is- the original hardware on the other side is pictured in image 17. The drop down flap has some minor wear as pictured in pictures 8 and 9. The aluminum legs have some expected scuffs but could likely be polished. The desk surface has some light scratches and some yellow marks(mostly on the right side) which are not too distracting can probably be cleaned up(see picture 10) The wood front of the desk(visible when the roll top is in the closed position) has some light water marks as shown in picture 14. This is a great looking Howard Miller clock that was designed George Nelson. We imagine this is from the late 60's or early 70's as it has the disco chrome and lucite glam. It is in nice condition with wear appropriate to age and use. If you get the stars to align properly it works sporadically so you will need to have it repaired/ tuned up. It measures approximately 56" tall x 13" wide x 10" deep. It has a smoked lucite center piece. Surrounded by a chrome frame and base. It has a wonderful chime on the hour and 1/2 hour. When I found this clock it was in very bad condition. It has been stored for(no one knows for how long) in a pile of boxes. I do my best to clean it in and out include the movement. THE GOD PART: The clock is in working condition, the movement moves and the shims look to work fiend.THE BAD PART: the clock need the pendulum, I tray to make one pendulum and it does works but the clock running to fast, and a need to move the clock in different positions. This clock is marked"Meridian" on the front and"Howard Miller" on the electric mechanism. It measures approx. 10 5/8" in diameter and features a brushed aluminum dial which"floats" in a walnut hoop frame. Cosmetically I would give it a 9 out of 10 condition wise- the aluminum could use a little cleaning and there are two very light scratches which I noticed under close scrutiny. This piece has been in my family since the 1950s. My father(an architect) was the original purchaser. It has a dark wood finish and white Formica. The white top measures 72" L x 30" W x about 1 1/2" Deep. I need to get the height from floor to top. The wooden cabinet is 67 1/2" L x 26 3/4" W x 18 1/2" H. without the legs. Over all height of the wood cabinet section is about 24" I will re-measures this weekend) The cabinet has cupboards that are accessible from both sides. The"main" side has 1 cupboard. 6 drawers, 2 shelves. There is also a metal file drawer on the right side of the Formica desktop. The file drawer measures ... more15 1/2" x 10" x 11 1/4" Original hanging file folders with metal crossbars(not plastic. Like now) are included. It has the original"H" shaped chrome base for support. All foot glides are present. It is almost impossible to find an authentic. Vintage model of one of these desks as not that many were made. Back in the day. This piece is pre-owned and has been used. So please see all pics. It has sat in a room.Unused, for about the last 30+ years. There are a few corner chips and light scratches on the wood where the two desk pieces join together. This really does not show as the top piece covers the scratched part. We have not attempted to stain or fix. Leaving that to the Buyer. Some Formica glue needs to be cleaned up on one Formica edge- this should scrape off readily with a flat knife/tool. ALL NOTED PROBLEMS ARE PICTURED. The desk is in VERY GOOD condition overall. It is in modern style by the famous designer George Nelson in Chrome and smoke acrylic. 58” tall, 13” wide, and 10” deep. It is fairly heavy. But can be lifted by one person. It dates from the mid-1970s. No damage, is in good running condition and keeps perfect time. You will not have to do anything to it– just take it home. It has what I believe is a German(possibly Hermle) weight-driven clock movement. Strikes on the hour and chimes on the half-hour. For most of the last 15 years, it has been mainly a hallway decorator item and not kept wound, therefore there is no pivot wear evident on the front and rear clock plates. It has been cleaned and oiled recently. It belonged to my son who ... morehas moved out of the country. And could not take it with him. Herman Miller George Nelson Desk Mid Century Modern AUTHENTIC
This is a classic desk manufacture by Herman Miller and designed by George Nelson. The desk has the Herman Miller tag inside the top drawer. The Herman Miller tag on the bottom has been worn away but you can still see where it was. It is stamped March 1970 inside the drawer. 29 inches high 29.5 inches deep 71 inches wide I have taken multiple pictures to show the condition. Wear is most noticeable at the edges. That is normal. The desk is Walnut for the base and Formica like for the desk top. If I was going to keep the desk myself I would get some PSA Veneer and redo the top and edges. It is very easy to do and anyone that does wood working could do it for a couple hundred bucks. I will leave that up to you.
