Wilderness Experience Top Opening S Frame Backpack. Vintage USA! Up for auction is my original and vintage Wilderness Experience Top Opening S Frame backpack. It is a size large. 2819 cubic inches, 83 oz. This bag was purchased new. And was used on one hike. It has been stored inside my home for most of 35 continuous years. It has no stains. No tears or frays, and NO ODOR. There are two shoulder strap buckles that have rusted. From a 1980’s Wilderness Experience catalog: The ultimate in organization. This pack is for those of you“who are tired of searching endlessly for something in your pack. The main body is divided into two panel-openings. Double-stitched compartments, for easy, organized access to clothing and food. Compression bands on the outside can be used to tighten the bag when less than a full load is being carried or for strapping ... moreon special items such as snow shoes. Skis or even a jacket. There are four large side pockets with ample space for water or fuel bottles. The large top pocket is easy to get to even when an additional stuff bag full of goods is attached to the top of the pack. The extension bar which is attached directly to the frame supports any weight strapped to the top of the pack as well as transferring any additional weight back to the frame. In addition to the five outside pockets there is an easy-to-use map pocket that can be reached while the pack is on. Vintage PATRIOTIC Backpack w/ Magnesium Frame - Red, White * Blue
Vintage Backpack This is for a wonderful vintage patriotic backpack in US colors of red. White and blue. I took the pack off so I could wash it a bit(by hand) and have not reattached the pack to the frame because my fingers are not strong enough. All the parts are here and I've placed them into a zip lock back and placed the hardware in a pocket of the pack. The frame is magnesium aluminum. It measures 33 inches tall and 15 inches wide. There are 5 zippered pockets on the pack(2 on each side and one on the lower end of the pack. The zippers were stubborn. I lightly rubbed candle wax over them and got them all working but they are stiff so probably need WD40 or something. I did see a few threads caught into the end. I don't see any holes or other such damage. It's a great vintage pack.

Designed for 5WT/6WT Fly Lines, these well regarded conventional Fly Reels consist of a beautifully machined, gray painted alloy body with quick-release, exposed rim alloy spool of lightened style with finger grip handle on lower edge& quick-release button on outside of the black resin center mechanism which grips the interior post to allow the spool to spin freely with exposed rim for"palming" a run, as well as having a brass, dial drag button conveniently located on frame edge at front or back depending upon whether the reel is set up for right or left hand use of course.See Photos) Classic style Fly Reel of English manufacture in the 1990s era, the quality is unmatched ... moreby most of the US Fly Reels of the day, and is quite bsuitable for either 5WT or 6WT, floating or sinking, AFTMA fly lines. This one is backed with 20 Lb test white synthetic line attached to what appears to be a standard DT5F casting line. I am selling a very lightly used 2012 Spot Rocker Frame. This frame is made from 853 steel and has sliding dropouts to allow it to be run as a singlespeed. This frame also has a special dropout to allow you to run a Gates belt drive if you desire. I am also including an extra dropout which includes a derailleur hanger to allow the frame to be run geared. This frame is almost like new with the exception of the minor chip and scratch that I noted in the"Condition" section. Additionally. I am selling this frame a Cane Creek S3 headset and a Spot Brand seatpost clamp as shown in the pictures. DeKerf Team SST Custom Filet Brazed Custom Flame Paint Job. Silver, Gray, Purple, and Green Metallic Flames. Top Tube Length: 23" Center of BB to top of seat tube 19" Disk brake only. Geometry made for a 100MM fork. 26" Wheels. 27.2 seat tube diameter. I had this made and custom painted by DeKerf in November of 2009. I only rode it a few times. And I never raced it. Overall the paint is in very good condition. There a few chain slap marks on the chain stay and marks on the inside of the other chain stay from the brake rotor. Otherwise the there are only small rock marks on the down tube and behind the seat tube. All of the various surfaces have been faced, burnished, or chased.

1993 Ventana Marble Peak frame and a 2007 Rock Lobster fork This is a nice early Ventana frame showcasing their perfect welds and great attention to detail. The rear dropouts have nice stainless steel liners to prevent the quick release from digging into the frame. The cable guides are riveted to the top tube for clean cable routing. The rear derailleur cable is internally routed down the inside of the drive side seatstay to prevent dirt from entering and the front derailleur cable is routed around a well mounted pulley at the bottom of the seat tube. Geometry. Seat tube c-c: 18” C-t: 20” Top tube actual: 23” Effective: 23.5” Head tube: 5.375” The frame is in good condition with some scratches. Mostly on the drive side chainstay. The fork was made specifically for this frame and has a 410mm axle to crown height to maintain the original frame ... moregeometry. The fork has seen very little use and is in excellent condition. Included with the frame and fork is a Chris King threadless headset. A Kore Elite seatpost, and a Deore XT front derailleur. The headtube on this frame is 1” But I will include a shim for the steerer tube so you can use a modern 1 1/8” clamp on stem. The Chris King headset and Kore seatpost were originally anodized purple. But at some point in the late 90’s the anodization was sanded off in some, but not all, places as shown in the pictures. I will only ship to continental United States addresses.
