Pair Matching Eastlake Walnut Wooden Trivets Hot Plates
These items are in great condition with normal wear due to age and they retain the original finish. They are made from solid walnut with turned designs on the outside and the inside are all hand craved. I believe they were originally used for hot plates or a stand for a statue. Vase, etc. or simply could be hung on a wall. They measure 7" in diameter and they both have felt on the backs, which is in good condition but I don't believe are original to the piece. Antique Victorian Eastlake Aesthetic Folk Style Carved Wood Walnut Clock Shelf
Up for bid is one antique. Victorian eastlake aesthetic walnut wall mount clock shelf. Shelf measures 11" wide by 9-1/2" high and has a projection of 6-1/2. Carved floral motif brackets with a fluted edged shelf. Two mounting holes on back board. Dark stained finish. The condition of this piece is used. Issues are primarily with the finish. I believe this finish is a second coat. But it looks as old as the shelf itself. Has finish wear to top and minor roughage along back corner. Has two can rings on backer board-looks like it was on its back for awhile and used as a coaster. Has a couple of small nicks along top, front edge of shelf and some white paint splatter on back. If you want mint or pristine, please don't bid on this one-it is neither. It is heavy and tight-no issues with the joinery. 3 pc Vintage Door Hardware - Eastlake-Style Plate/Slide Latch/Spring Latch
I am offering three pieces of vintage door hardware. These pieces have not been cleaned. One piece is a small slide lock without the piece that would be attached to the door frame. The spring latch is decorated metal that at some time was painted a pale green. The paint has not been removed for fear of damaging the piece. I will leave that to the experts. The spring latch works but could probably use a little graphite. Again. The piece that would go on the door frame is not included. The third piece is a metal door plate in the East Lake style, with two keyholes and a slide to cover one or the other of the holes. The piece looks dark but a scratch that was on the piece when discovered shows a shine. Use the zoom function and see what you think.

Stunning original Bronze door knobs from the Eastlake period in the Oriental pattern. The Oriental pattern was first produced by Branford Lock Works of Branford. Connecticut in 1885. This item is in excellent condition with no missing or broken parts. It is made from solid walnut and is put together with cut nails. There are beautiful hand craved designs on the sides and top of the mirror. The mirror does show minor wear due to age and it retains the original wooden back. What makes this item very useful. That the lid opens to a compartment for storing items and it also retains the original hinges. It has a beautiful rosette in the middle which was so typical of this era. This silhouette is printed on heavy stock paper and is guaranteed to be old. For the age it is in good condition. There is one small dot on the top right hand corner and a small tear on the outside boarder on the lower right hand corner. Both as shown. It is in a solid walnut frame which has hand cravings different from the typical Adirondack frames. I do believe it does date back to the Civil War era. This frame does retain the original wavy bubble glass and wooden back. It is put together with cut nails and all the corners are tight. Victorian Antique Salesman Sample Walnut Bed Eastlake LARGE 1870s American Up for auction is this beautiful Victorian Eastlake Salesman sample bed. It dates from ca. 1870s and is in fabulous museum quality condition. It is large it measures 25” long x 19” tall and is 15” wife. It is accompanied by a miniature crazy quilt from the same era. Also it has two handmade miniature pillows with miniature pillow cases. The mattress is NOT original. It is a modern replacement-it is just a small regular sized pillow. The sampler is made of solid walnut. Note the intricate quality in the hand carving and attention to detail on head board. The finals are removable as you would see in a real bed. The side rails show the roman column effect that Victorian society so admired. The bed slats and crafted to fit snugly but sadly two are missing. The foot board ... morereveals panels that match the head board panels. The pieces were chosen very carefully and display the beautiful grains. The finish is all original and the darkened patina shows it nice old age. Some may want to call this a doll bed; it is not. This is a real salesman sample. It has much more detail than a doll bed. It is crafted to represent a full sized bed, and it is built to a larger scale than a doll bed. However, I am listing a doll bed on e-bay this week too, but please do not mistake the differences. I believe thease were salvaged from a built in cabinet. They date to the late 1800's period. What is left of the hinges and the RUSTY but intact/functional latchs are Eastlake Victorian. The glass is intact and wavy. The glass doors measure 25 inches wide by 64 tall. The bottom raised panels are 25 wide by 26 tall. The white chippy paint has a heavy texture. These were a barn find and had so much dust and dirt you couldn't even tell they were glass. Let alone white. I DID NOT attempt to clean these other than a wisk broom and quick windex wipe. Eastlake-style example was created in the 1880's.in chipped but otherwise good condition(see below) From a local estate.see our eBay seller's list for more fresh finds. Pictured with an apple to help illustrate its size. Forgive any reflections in the glass. This example has a hand painted matte with an inner ruffled velvet lining. Under glass, a lovely Victorian thing. Carved details throughout-see photos. Total height is 20-1/4" and the width is 8-1/4" Sight measurements of the glass are 10-3/4 by 6-3/4" The opening for the picture is about 3-3/4" by 7-1/4" at the center of the domed top. Easel-type leg device attached with hinges-all original. The condition is good but as is due to the number of chips to the ebonized ... moresurface. NICE Orig Antique Eastlake 30 Barber Shop Shaving Mug Display Wall Shelf Rack
This is a fantastic and rare antique barber shop shaving mug rack with a beautifully carved Eastlake style crest on the top. 30 square openings(about 5 1/2" L x 5 1/2" H x 4 1/4" deep) to display mugs or nick-nacks, and turned spindle accents on the sides of each opening. It is in very good condition with only typical age-related wear(light scuffs, scratches, shallow dings, tiny cosmetic chips and cracks on edges, light wear to the finish, dusty residue) It is sturdy, solid, and perfectly useable. Everything looks original except for a few nails that were probably added later(some are square and some look newer) and possibly the two metal hangers on the back(there are also two eye hooks screwed into the top of the shelf, from which it might have once hung) and the finish has rich, dark aged patina, although it might have been ... morere-finished long ago. A few of the vertical rectangles of wood that serve as partitions between openings look like they are cracked or might have been made from two pieces of wood glued together(shown close-up in the last photo) However, all joints are tight and nothing feels loose or wobbly. The outer dimensions of the shelf are 44 1/2" L x 4 1/4" W x 38" H. It will be packed very well and insured during shipping.

Vintage Eastlake Childs Rocking Chair - Cane Seat and Back- Perfect for Dolls
This auction is for a Vintage Children's Rocking Chair. It has a cane back and seat. I found it at an Estate sale and was told it was an old Eastlake. The look is very Eastlake but I do not know the age of this chair. It has modest curves and geometric features. It has lightly incised ornamental carving on the back and arms. The chair is 26" tall. 22" deep and 13-3/4" wide. The seat is 11-1/2" above floor, 11" deep and 10-1/2" between arms. The chair weighs almost 7 pounds. The cane is in good condition and the chair is nice and tight. There are scuffs, most of the edges are worn rounded. The top of the chair looks like something might have been glued to it, It is rough and there are nail holes. I show this in the 10th photo. The handle is ornate and fanciful, with recognizable motifs of the genre. This pattern does not appear in any of my references, and was most likely never given a name; it may have been part of a boxed set that included nutpicks. It is, however, quite compatible with other patterns in its genre, even those by other makers: a notable example is International Roger's LAUREL. The nutcracker is a familiar item, although not as common as it once was. As a companion to the nutpick, the Victorian nutbowl ... morecontained at least one fancy nutcracker for breaking the shell of whole nuts such as almonds, Brazil nuts, walnuts, and hazelnuts. The nutpick is then used to worry out the bits of nut meat. These items were sold in boxes as gift sets: sometimes the set was 6 nutpicks, and sometimes a fancier set was offered with a matching nutcracker. Some sets were not part of a full line; others matched a pattern such as Assyrian Head or Arcadian. Nut crackers and nutpicks as part of a full line pattern were not made much after World War 1. Antique VICTORIAN MARBLE TOP PARLOR TABLE Walnut Base Lamp Stand Eastlake Style
Beautiful walnut marble top stand. Center table, lamp table with a great base. The top shape is unusual. It is flat on the long sides and has an architectural curved shape on the ends. Wood base matches shape of marble. Marble is not attached to base. Both pieces are original, no screws, no broken pieces, minor fissures from age. Stable, sturdy base. There is a fissure on the very bottom underneath in the center. Original to piece as it's been repaired with a nail that matches all other nails. No chips on the corners of the marble. One small fissure in one corner. Like a shallow chip. Does not distract from piece. Two very small scratches next to this. Normal slight surface scratches normal for a piece this age. Base is smooth to the touch. No rough areas. Base(top) measures- 20" by 13" Base of feet are 12" apart. All four ... moresides.
