But he's yours ... moreto determine, now. It could be for a cabinet door, a drawer handle or even a box handle- the possibilities are limited to your imagination! Made of steel, it has the BEST rustic rusty primitive charm- if you like barn fresh- this one is for you. It's a large, heavy handle, weighing just over 1/2 lb, and measuring 6 1/4" widest and 4 3/4" tall from the top of the backplate to the bottom of the handle. There are three screw holes(I do not have screws) for mouting. The two at the bottom are 2 3/4" apart measuring from the inside of the holes, and 3" apart measuring from the outside walls of the holes. The holes are 1/4" diameter. You can see the hint of a very worn, old copper colored finish on the steel. Mostly worn, and a layer fo surface rust has taken over where the metal is exposed. It's surface only, with no holes. The handle could use a little lubrication- it rotates, but you have to provide a little assistance/force that's minor to get it to move. No other issues- it's a wonderful rustic primitive old piece of hardware for you! Please ask if you have any questions. Or feel free to inform me if you have any information about one of my listings. As with any of my items, if you ever need extra pictures, let me know, just make sure that you give me an email address to send them to. Pick up is welcome on all of my items. The base of the bell that attaches to ... morethe inside of the door is cast iron and bears no makers name. There are several patent date, but are difficult to read. Also included is the beautifully decorated exterior T- handle lever for ringing the bell when it is lifted up or down. It has no maker or patent date listed. The bell has a loud and clear ring that resonates after being struck inside by the mechanical hammer. The internal mechanism has been cleaned and oiled. The color of the cast brass on the bell is gold color while the T-handle is more to the red shade. The two parts were often made by different companies using different formulations of brass. They were often purchased separately after being selected out of hardware store catalogs. Since each is on a different side of the door. Any differences are seldom seen. Both pieces were professionally polished. But not clear coated to allow the brass to slowly patina in the future. The arm on the T-handle that goes thru the door is 2 7/8 inches long and would accomodate doors up to 2 1/2 inches thick. The bell`s iron base is 6 in. wide from mounting tab to tab. The screw holes are on 5 1/2 in. centers. The brass bell dome and top nut are 2 1/4 in. tall. The brass bell dome is 4 3/4 in. wide. The T-handle plate is 5 3/4 in. long x 2 3/4 in. wide. This set of barn door trolley and track has enough pieces for two doors. There are four pieces of track: 73. 69, 48, and 27 inches long. The wheel sets each have two wheels 3 inches in diameter. The bracket pieces are 10 inches tall and the wheels with bracket are 7 and 1/2 inches wide. Made of iron, rusted but the wheels still turn. There are several original nails included.
