Selling this as part of an estate that we are handling. Check our other auctions for more silver that we will be selling over the next 4 to 6 weeks. These items all come from the estate of a man who had a large collection of very fine sterling. Some of it dating back into the 1800's. This auction is for a beautiful pair of buffet/serving tongs. I am not positive that they are sterling silver. But I did not want to scratch them to test for the silver content. On the inside is stamped"WH&S" with 3 additional hallmarks. If anyone knows which company they represent, please let us know and we'll add that information to our auction description. They are in beautiful condition. The only problem I see are a few very small knicks on the very bottom edge. Buffet R-13 Clarinet Silver Plated Keys, 1 owner, played for less than 3 years
I am the original owner of this clarinet. It arrived at my house from the Buffet factory in France in the fall of 2003. I played it for my senior year of high school(not in marching band. Only indoors for symphony) and for a year and a half at college where I was a music major. It is in perfect condition. I was a true band geek and treated this horn like it was my baby. I used a tiny, dry paint brush on a regular basis to sweep away any dirt or dust that collected in the tiny grooves of the keys. Dorky, I know. But I loved it. You will get a good clarinet. During my first week of college my clarinet professor had me take my horn to his repair man to have it re-padded with high quality leather pads. The factory ones weren't good enough for him. Two weeks ago I had one cork replaced. The other corks are in great condition. Cork grease for ... morethe new cork is NOT included. A black leather ligature is included. The original hard, leather case has some scratches and dents on it, but not many. Included is a black Altieri bag with a nice shoulder strap. I used this to carry my horn and music around campus in college. It is soft and padded for extra protection, with a large outside pocket for holding tons of sheet music, books, extra reeds, a metronome, pencils, etc. I am a stay at home mom now and my priorities have shifted to my children and husband. I am sad to let this horn go. But it's just been sitting in my closet for 6+ years. It's sad to see it just sitting there and a little painful to remember my glory days. Dorky again, I know. I am now a collector, trader, and seller of musical instruments. I have done much research. But have failed to truly identify this Clarinet. A small bit of information I can give, is that I, at one time I was a partner in small town music store and this instrument was given to me. It was brought in by and elderly women. Whose husband used to play this Clarinet. After he passed away, she just brought it into her local music shop, as many people do, across the country, and gave it away. I am being led to believe this is a rare R13. At that time. I would loan this instrument out to a local child taking lessons at school, who could not afford to pay for a newer rental. Buffet Evette Shaeffer Saxaphone with Case
First I will say this. I am NOT a musician or an expert. I will tell you what i know and answer any questions you have. I will send you pictures of whatever you want to your email. This appears in well used condition, with lacquer missing mostly on the back and some scratching. I do not see any dent or repairs. Hopefully this will give you enough information to make a decision. This is an estate sale find. It probably has been stored for years and may need some attention. It says Evette Schaeffer Paris on the front of the bell. The serial number is 14374 and is on the lower part of the back part. I cannot find any valve that does not move freely and all the parts seem to be intact. ASK QUESTIONS BEDFORE BUYING. Newly Overhauled Buffet Evette E-11 Wood Bb Clarinet
I have for sale a very nice but older Buffet Evette E-11 Bb wood clarinet. Serial#D1262. The modern Buffet Crampon E-11's. Were first made in France under the name Evette and then in the 1980's, production was moved to Germany and the name was eventually changed to E-11. This clarinet was made in France so it is at least 30 years old. The wood in those days was much tighter grain than the wood being used today so it was better wood. This clarinet was taken apart and cleaned, wood oiled and keys hand polished and given all new custom made cork pads on the upper joint and 2 of the smaller pads on the lower joint and new tenon corks and new bumper corks. The rest of the pads on the lower joint are good quality bladder pads. The keys are excellent with 2 that I see plating wea r on but the metal under the plating wear is shiny and so ... morethe plating wear isn't noticeable. The wood is excellent but there are 2 hairline cracks in the lower keyed joint that attaches to the the upper keyed joint. These cracks run along the grain and are very common and don't affect the playing ability at all and are only cosmetic. Other than those cracks. The wood is excellent with only minor scuffs and scratches. This clarinet plays excellently and beautifully and will play every bit as nicely as any new E-11 being sold today for around $1500. Because it is older and refurbished. You can have a wonderful playing clarinet for a fraction of the cost of a new one. It comes with a nice used older Buffet mouthpiece, a metal ligature and a Buffet mouthpiece cov er. The case is an older Evette case that is structurally sound but the latches are a little rusty. 1940'S MAHOGANY BUFFET/ SERVER#3265 This wonderful Buffet/Server is made out of Ma hogany wood. Solid wood, and Mahogany Veneer, and it is in good original condition. This Buffet/Server has an interesting and styl ish design. A nd it has a medium/dark red/brown Mahogany stain finish color. This Buffet/Server has antique Brass finish handles. See pictures, and it has car ved accents on the top. This classic piece has doors on the bottom. And it has a dove-tailed drawer on the front that is made out of solid wood on the inside. ANTIQUE LARGE OAK BUFFET W. 5 GLASS DOORS AND BRASS FITTINGS
I am offering an antique(most probably late 1875-1900-ish) buffet-cupboard. You name it the way you want. It is 100% oak. Has five(5) diamond shaped clear glass doors with oak frame, brass hinges, working locks and knobs. Has 4 or 5 keys(will check and confirm) Each section is partitioned and has 3 oak adjustable shelves. I know it is built with square blacksmith nails as some of these are leftover from my reconstruction of the back of the buffet(see below) The top was probably covered with linoleum tiles that were removed. It has not been repaired. Except the back of the buffet made in tongue and grove oak planks had been dismantled. When I reassembled it. They did not fit exactly where they should have gone and over the lenght of the buffet. It ha s shrunk by about 3/4 of an inch to one inch(0n the right looking at the back) The leftmost ... moreglass door was professionally redone as it was warped so much I was afraid some of the glass parts would fall off. It was repaired by a stained-glass repair shop. With new piping, and some(2-3) parts replaced. Otherwise, it has been left as is. The other doors have been left as is, and should be reworked to fix the"waviness" in the glass panels. It is a large buffet. 108 inches(9ft) long, 60 inches(5ft) high and 24 inches(2ft) deep(approximative measures) It may weight around 175-200 pounds or more. This is a large. Heavy and bulky item. Freight will be buyer's responsibility. The buyer has to arrange pickup, either in person or by a transporter he will have appointed. I will provide more pictures at your request.

This puts the year of production I believe around 1999-2000. This clarinet is for the serious student and is a necessary step for higher progression. The tone quality of this instrument is far superior than true beginner instruments. For the buffet line this is a great first choice. This clarinet has been inspected by myself and the local music shop in town and is in excellent shape. There are no cracks. Cork is tight, springs are good, and keys only need light polishing. The horn is airtight and the pads do seal properly but 2 or 3 of them will need replacement in the near future. I did replace the thumb rest with a new one as the old one looked bad. As a clarinetist, I played ... morean R13 throughout high school, college and the Navy. When I played this one I was pleasantly surprised and you will not be disappointed. All 3 registers produce a nice clean tone. The only flaw I could see is what appears to be a small dab of green fingernail polish on the mouthpiece and barrel. Key and tenon corks and this E vette P lays and Sounds Even Better Than New! This clarinet is made for the beginner student musician. And performs on a par with any new beginner clar inet on the market to day. This horn is in excellent cosmetic and physical condition. It has little cosmetic wear. The resonite body shows only inceden tal marks and scratches as one would e xpect with a clarinet of it's age. There are NO cracks. Or repairs in the body of the clarinet. The tenons are in perfect condition with NO wear. It has all of of its original round and flat springs. The Barrel. Top and bottom joints, and the Bell are all made of high quality resonite. VINTG Marked Ironstone/Pottery White Footed Buffet/fruit Bowl Made in Portugal
For sale is a beautiful White Footed Buffet or fruit Bowl m arked on the bottom: Portugal P 463. It's in very good. Used Condition with one p oint o n a scallop chipped just a wee bit. The points are a ll a little bit different. Any other irregula rities I see seem to have always bee n there as there is glaze over each one. It's been on display for a long time. So it could use a bath. This bowl has an incredible ring to it making me think it must be a high quality ironstone. I welcome any input.
