The right side has 2 doors that open up and you can push the doors back , which would have originally held a television, the space is basically 30.5 inches in height, 29.5 inches in frontal length and 21 inches in depth (so that could be your tv measurement).

Top of secretary has a ... morespindle like crown pediment over the glazed doors. Adjustable shelves for books or displaying glassware. This top part of the cabinet is removeable. The desk has a large carved design on the front of the fall front desk top and opens to reveal pigeon holes. Slots and two small drawers within the desk itself. The fall front provides a large writing surface. The desk portion sits over a full width single drawer with two half width drawers and a cupboard base w/ door underneath. All drawer fronts have applied rectangular panels with walnut burl veneer covering the entire panels. Drawers have wonderful molded and stamped brass drawer pulls and back plates and all drawers, doors and fall front have keyholes with matching escutcheons and keys. All indications are this is the original finish on the secretary with only the inside fall front being refinished to match the rest of the desk. A duplicate of this secretary is in the former home of President Calvin Coolidge in Plymouth Notch, VT. now a museum. Go to Ebay Category: Collectibles. For your consideration, this fabulous and very impressive Tall Victorian Rococo Flame Mahogany Secretary with Arched Bookcase ... moreTop(Circa: 1860) This gorgeous two-piece Secretary weighs approximately 170 pounds and measures 102 ½” in total height(from the floor to the arched top of the crown) 44 ¼” in width, and 20 ½” in depth. The three adjustable shelves each measure 9” in depth and 41 ¼” in width. This is truly one of the most beautiful Victorian Secretaries of its kind that we have had the privilege to offer. You will notice that there is some faint writing on the back of the piece(see the e-Bay photo) that probably indicates either the maker or the person for whom the piece was made. From what we can see it is signed M. Hall, Hannibal, MO. The details on this Secretary are absolutely wonderful! This beautiful Secretary is constructed of mahogany. And flame mahogany over a secondary wood and the details are exquisite! The bookcase top is graced with a beautiful open arch top with a lovely center foliate carved pedestal that is surrounded on each side with elegant applied scroll land leaf adornments. The bookcase top doors have wavy glass that appears to be original. And three adjustable shelves. The doors have arched tops with picture frame moulding around the original glass and carved foliate escutcheons. The right door has an intact lock and a decorative(non-working) key is included to assist in opening the doors. Also. You will note that there is a small, insignificant scratch on glass in the lower corner of the right door which in no way impacts the beauty or integrity of the original wavy glass. The bottom slant front desk door of the Secretary is graced with luscious flame mahogany veneer, has a fancy brass key escutcheon along with an intact lock with working key. Vintage Mini Desk Set: This was acquired from an estate sale from an old vintage house. Great little collectible vintage item by Dennison's Set measures 4-3/8" in length x 1-7/8" deep x 2-3/8" tall. Consists of 6 little books- all are in super nice condition for the age with only a little wear to the tops as shown in the picture. The bottoms and fronts are in excellent condition- hard to find any in better condition than this set. Set has all components as shown in pictures- 4 key tags. 3 tacks, 8 paper clips, mending tape seems to be complete, gummed labels seem pretty full and the gummed reinforcements seems mostly full. For Sale is a Vintage 3-Shelf Wood Bookcase with 2 Glass Doors. It was made around 1970. Great case for storing books of value and older books. The smooth finish allows books to slide in and out with no damage or scratch. The two glass doors slide back and forth. The unit looks nice and glass doors work as they should. No damage. On the back near the top is a hairline crack that doesn't effect the unit's stability and is not visible when against a wall. A small sticker of a cute small owl on the top left of the left glass door can probably be scraped off if the buyer wishes to do so. Width 35 3/4 inches. Height 41 inches, Depth 12 inches. Vintage 1930's-40's Stacking Barrister Bookcase Set of 3 Nice Condition
Up for auction is a beautiful set of 2 + 1 stacking lawyer Barrister bookcases in excellent condition with original wavy glass. What is here is a set of two matching sectional stacking bookcases that someone has added a perfect fitting 3rd piece to add to the height and storage capacity. The 2 section bookcase marked"The Globe-Wernicke Company" of Cincinnati and is unusual in that it has the original drawer at the bottom. The middle section is marked HALE of NY. Nice original brass hardware on each. Barrister cases were made by many companies designed to interlock in pieces so you could buy just two and add if you needed capacity. The set measures 47" tall x 37" wide x 12" deep. The top has been refinished to match the mahogany due to fading but matches wonderfully. The middle sectional is a slightly browner mahogany ... morecolor but is not very noticeable. My camera is accentuating the color. If you saw them in person it is hard to tell. A chest of some kind, and a lamp(all attached) an infant baby carrier that has a handle that moves; a rocking chair and a bed. The bed has a piece of material attached as a blanket, the material was frayed on the edge by the pillow so I attached a pink ribbon to the top with my sewing machine. The bottom of the bed on the white plastic has some nail polish, I removed alot of it with nail polish remover, but did not remove the rest for fear of scratching it.
