VINTAGE German BLACK FOREST CLOCK Older Bouncing Betty HECO?
This Vintage Black Forest BOUNCING BETTY Clock is old and from Germany. This looks like a Heco clock though it is not marked. The clock has the inner workings in tact but is missing the key. There are no holes for the weights so I am assuming that it is not missing them. The dial is marked W-GERMANY on the brass clock face. The weighted woman, who is the pendulum that moves up and down, is of a vintage type. The wooden body of the clock is 8" by 8" As in the modern chalet clocks this has all the traditional decorations: painted heart on the peak. Colorful folk art illustrations throughout, including a wooden fence, 2 mushrooms on the right. Up for auction is a very nice and very detailed. Hand carved oval shaped black forest style wall hunting plaque; carved to simulate tree branches with oak leaves and acorns. The plaque is stained a nice rich walnut brown and has small wild boars carved on each side of the shield. There are two holes drilled in the center of the plaque from a previous mount. This is one of the best carved hunting plaques that I have ever seen! This will make a great addition to someone’s collection or a nice plaque for someone to mount their own trophy on. The 6 1/2 x 4 inch KEEBLER compositionBlack Forest style ornately detailed cuckoo clock with white Roman numerals works well and tick-tocks as the pendulum swings. Also as the pendulum swings the cuckoo's(someone speculated it is a tanager) head pops out to 2 positions and then pops back in and this happens continuously. Someone says the bird is red with black wings so I am assuming it is a scarlet tanager. This neat working Keebler cuckoo clock with patent numbers 1563431 and 1709146. Made in USA, will make a great addition to any vintage Lux novelty wall clock collection. I do not have a key to send with it.

Lovely Small Hunter Style Black Forest German Cuckoo Clock
Up for auction. We have a restored small one day Black Forest German Hunter cuckoo clock. Decorated with hand carved leaves, birds, a rabbit, a pheasant, and a satchel, it's a very pretty clock! The carvings are just exquisite! It is complete with chains, weights, and a pendulum. We cleaned and oiled the movement, adjusted the gong, cleaned the chains, and tested it for several weeks in our home. It now has a new lease on life; looks beautiful and runs and cuckoos perfectly on the hour and half hour. It has a one day Regula movement. There are no markings on the clock, so we can't tell you who the manufacturer is, but it doesn't look very old and has a date stamped in the back that is faint, but appears to be something in the 2000 range. Lovely Small Hones Black Forest German Cuckoo Clock
Up for auction. We have a small, pretty Black Forest German cuckoo clock made by Hones in Titisee-Neustadt, Germany. Decorated with hand carved leaves. And birds, it's a very sweet little clock. It's complete with chains, weights, a crown, and a pendulum. We cleaned and oiled the movement, cleaned the chains, and tested it for several weeks in our home. It looks beautiful and runs and cuckoos perfectly on the hour and half hour. It does not have a gong; doesn't appear to have ever had one as the movement doesn't have the striker for one. But its sweet cuckoo bird is enough. This is a one day Regula movement. The dimensions are 8 1/2" X 7" X 5" including the crown. It would make a wonderful addition to any cuckoo clock collection. This is an old hand carved German nutcracker in excellent condition with no cracks. Splits etc. I have no idea exactly how old it is but it has been at my house for at least 25 years. This is the mate to the Angel Lustermanol I have passed on to another caretaker.I became the caretaker of a set of Twin angels.The first being a Lustermanol which I ran a couple of weeks ago.This angel held a tag on her back which told the Original from 1755 was carved by the master carver Ignaz Gunther(can be found on Google) and hung in the Wurmgau Museum in Germany, his son produced these two in 19th century as a tribute to his fathers work I am told.She is larger then her Lustermanol sister,she is 36 1/2 wide from wing tip to wing tip x 27" tall from foot to top of head.Her wings are attached by 2 screws in the begining of her life they were held by wooden diles.She is missing a hand but I do have a replace but not from era of 1800's,the other hand has been replaced as I can see no paint has been applied. Up for auction is a beautifully carved antique Black Forest Spoon. This piece is a very detailed carving with Grape vines. Leaves and grapes. There are no cracks or repairs to this piece that I can see. The only flaws that I can see are a very small chip on one leaf which is hardly noticeable(see last picture) and some ware to the finish, mainly on the bowl of the spoon. It is still a great piece and will make a great addition to someone’s black forest collection. I am not sure of the age of this piece or the type of wood it was carved from. It is resin with a dark finish that very closely approximates the originals. Only by turning it over and looking at the bottom can you tell that this is a reproduction. No damage or defects either to the base or to the fluted glass vase it holds. A wonderful accessory for your Victorian home. Offered for sale is this exquisite German Black Forest wood carving"Squirrel on tree trunk" The squirrel is grabbing a little animal on its left front claws and the right front claws are grabbing the trunk. The tree trunk is surrounding by some leaves. Tree fern and rocks. The piece has one or two leaves damage and some old worm bites, overall it is in excellent condition for age. No signature and the exact age unknown, probably 1900's or so. The trunk is hollow on top, it size about 2-1/2"in depth. x 2-3/4"in diameter. It can hold a candle inside but this is too good to be a candle holder. The piece measures 6-3/4"H x 7-1/2"W x 6"Deep. The piece is heavy nice wood.
