This is an incredible Mid Century. Hollywood Regency, Campaign rolling bar/side table, made by Milling Road Furniture, Division of Baker Furniture. It has faux bamboo details along with brass wheels and drawer handles in the Campaign style. It is in great shape with the exception of the top where there is a small burn no doubt from a cigarette, also some loss of the clear coat. The size is 28" wide, 18" deep by 28-1/4" high, perfect size for a small area or apartment. On the sides there are doors that open to hold bottles and glasses, which have locks, however, no key. There drawers one is 4-1/2" deep the other is 11" deep. The back is just a ornate as the front. Not sure of the wood, my guess is a light Teak, but not sure. This piece is an original one of a kind console designed by Alessandro for Baker Furniture. It was sold in 1980 for $1.850 from Howard Lorton Furniture store in Denver. I have the original receipt and original brochure from Alessandro. This is an incredible find a for a collector or person who can appreciate the deceased Alessandro. He designed and produced only a handful of individual art pieces and this table/console was one of them. It is in very good to excellent condition and has only slight wear on some of the edges. Double Pedestal Executive Leather Top Desk by Milling Road Baker Furniture
This is a gorgeous double pedestal executive desk by Milling Road a division of Baker Furniture. The desk features a chocolate brown distressed leather inlay top. Dovetailed drawers and a distressed finish. The distressed finish looks a bit like the worm holes antique furniture gets. The desk has two deep drawers on both sides, a filing drawer on the bottom left and the bottom right features a cabinet with a removable shelf. The long center drawer is actually a keyboard drawer. The desk measures 64" long x 31 3/4" deep x 31" high. It is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. The desk was lightly used and is an exceptional find. This listing is for a beautiful Baker Furniture buffet. Sideboard or bar cabinet. Made in Italy this heirloom piece is from the Milling Road collection. We are the original owners and purchased it from a Baker Gallery about 9 years ago. It is richly detailed and thoughtfully made for multifunctional use. The piano type hinges and knobs are an antiqued brass. There are two paper lined drawers over two doors that open to a very large amount of storage. Standing on raised legs, the cabinet has paneled doors and sides. There is one shelf inside that is adjustable and there is a pre-made opening that allows for wires in the event you wish to store electronics, appliances(small refrigerator if you want to use it in a guest room) or a TV. There is a 5" scratch on the bottom of the inside of the cabinet but it cannot be seen with the doors closed ... moreor if you are storing something inside. I think the piece is mahogany wood and it is in a distressed country French/Italian type of finish. This gorgeous Baker cabinet would make an incredible addition to your home. The piece is quite substantial with measurements of approximately 38" high, 55" wide and 25 1/2" deep. Like all Baker pieces this cabinet is a piece of art and is meticulously made.
