Original Art Deco Lamp With Marble Base Bronze Style Spelter Figure Man Skier
An original 1930s Art Deco lamp with a solid mable base and complete with a spelter figure of a man skier. The marble base measures 210mm long by 90mm wide 25mm thick and is an orangey pinky colour with a nice grain. The spelter figure of a man skier measures 90mm high(without the marble base) and 120mm long, he is wearing blue trousers and a brown jacket and is on a light green coulour base.The lamp is wired up but needs replacing as it is still the original old two core wire from the 1930s with a mottled brown on and off bakelite switch and an old bakelight two pin plug that looks european and may be from France, the bulb and globe holder are in good reuseable condition. Vintage Deco Lamp Lovely lamp in good pre-owned vintage condition. I found it at a yard sale a couple of months ago. I was told it was made in the 1920's or 30's. This lamp features a beautiful woman poised within an Art Deco frame. Arms out-stretched and one leg raised. The lamp looks and feels bronze but I'm no expert.fairly heavy. Mounted in a painted brass holder, and is in good condition with no chips or cracks to the glass. The bulb holder is a standard UK bayonet clip type. This item is a Depression Era Green Uranium Vaseline and Jadeite Boudoir Table lamp that works. The Lamp Measures 8" The Base is 4 1/2" wide and has eight 1/2" legs. The Base glows under a black light and is Uranium/Vaseline Glass. The Lamps body is ball shaped with vertical lines in green frosted glass resembling Jeannette Glass Pattern Adam. I can only find one mold line. It has a slight chip where the ring is at the bottom which you have to look hard to find. It does work! The cord is 78" long. I believe this very beautiful Royal Winton Grimwades lamp to be extremely rare. I have not been able to find another like it. It is in very good condition. No chips or cracks. It is 14-1/2" tall. It has a foil label on the metal base that says"Royal Winton Grimades England. see photo) Underneath the metal base there is a backstamp that reads"Royal Winton HJB Made in England. see photo) I am speculating that perhaps the HJB is some combination of the A.G. Harley Jones factory. The flowers look like Hollyhocks. It has an Art Deco look to it. The foil label indicates it dates to c1934. Staff moved back and forth between Carlton Ware. Winton Ware, Wedgwood, and Burleigh factories, so it would not be surprising if this lamp was painted by an artist who was also employed at Wedgwood or Winton Ware and created Fairyland Lustre designs. ... moreThis lamp has elements of Fairyland Lustre designs and technique. Antique Lamp Art Deco 17" With Shade Excellent Arts and Crafts
This is an old Lamp that is in either the Arts and Crafts style or Art Deco. It is Brown Metal with a twist on off switch and the tan or yellowish shade slides on the top. There is a tiny stress line on the top of the shade up against the metal that is 1/2" long. It is very hard to find and does not go over the bend or down the side. Antique Cast Iron and Glass Art Deco Torchiere Floor Lamp Rewired
This beautiful art deco style fl oor lam p has three lights on top with a glass shade and a night light underneath the agate gl ass on the base that give s it a glowing effect. The base is cast iron. But I don't know what metals the rest of the lamp are made from. The lamp was completely rewired and the middle socket was replaced allowing for wiring down to the night light underneath t he base. One of the side sockets is held on by one screw ins tead of two because the p lastic around the other screw b roke. So that socket is a little loose. All lights are lit independently by their own switches. The main switch on the lamp post is cosmetic unless you h ave the ambition to replace it and wire it in. The original non-polarized plug is attached(for cosm etic purposes) but the wires can be easily sc rewed into a brand new plug if you'd ... moreprefer the added safety of a polarized plug. Very unusual and very"cool" lamp! This is a great. Art Deco Era, 1920's street lamp from St. Louis, MO which was turned into a large table lamp or floor lamp. The lamp is HUGE and retains the original cap and the bottom fitter attachment, both of which are metal. The lamp is attached to a wooden base which is painted dark brown. The old glass is gorgeous in a rectangular geometric design and is a satin frost. The lamp houses one light bulb. The lamp is in excellent, working condition with the wiring being vintage. The lamp operates with a pull chain. There is one interior"blip" on the glass(see photos) but the exterior glass is excellent with no chips or cracks. This is a very nice and very unique item! Gorgeous floor lamp. Purchased from a reputable antiques dealer in LA about 15 years ago. Well cared for. I'm not an expert. So this description is to the best of my ability! Dual bulb sockets(pivot) each with pull chain. Finial on top to add shade. If desired(I never did-looked great without) Opaque green glass(approx. 1" thick) atop heavy(bronze? engraved base(please see photo-very nice detail) Vase-shaped pink opaque glass piece sits on top of the base. Normal 0 0 1 2 16 1 1 19 11.1539 0 0 0 Item Description- Beautiful French Art Deco lamp. Signed Degué lampshade. Wrought and hammered iron lamp base, Bakelite lamp holder and switch. Hand made from thick. Pressed glass between 1926- 1936 in France, this is an excellent example of famous Degué glass, signed and guaranteed original. The lampshade or'tulipe' has a deep geometric and stylised floral design- classic Degue- and is mostly frosted with polished clear highlights. The lamp is 40 cms or 16 inches tall. Is 15 cms/ 6 inches across and wheighs 1.5 kg/ 3.3 pounds The glass is in great condition. There is a very tiny fleabite on the rim(pic 10) and a shallow hairline crack visable on one side of the glass only(pic 11) I have had to look very hard for these. They are hardly noticeable, do not affect the stability of the ... moreglass and I only mention them for accuracy. The base is painted iron and is in good. Aged condition. The paint is missing in places either through age or design and this adds to its charm. Included in the sale is modern wiring suitable for 110v. 220v or 240v fitted with a European B22 lamp holder. This can easily be replaced or converted to another size depending on your needs. Artist Information- Degué was the signature given to the stunning glassware produced by David Guéron in France between 1926– 1936. Specializing in Art Deco lighting and vases. Verrerie d’Art Degué(Paris) supplied goods to the finest houses and hotels in France and eventually secured a commission to supply 6,000 individual glass panels for a luxury ocean liner, the‘Normadie’ This was fantastic exposure to wealthy trans-Atlantic travelers who could afford this luxurious way of traveling, Degué glass became renown and sought after worldwide. Vintage 1920's-40's. Table Lamp, Treen, Art deco style. Recently rewired.
This rich tactile treen table lamp was made between 1920- 1940 I estimate. The shade is not included. I bought it from John Lewis, so it can easily be replace. It was a bedside lamp for the spare bedroom, but I have inbuilt lights now. It needs a bid of a clean and polish to make it look really fantastic. Dimensions: 21cm high x 9cm wide. Art Deco Industrial Desk Table Lamp Steampunk Vintage Machine Age Office
Vintage art deco era industrial style desk lamp. It measures 17" tall and about 10" across the bottom of the shade. It works fine- although the cord is getting a little stiff from age. The hole in the shade is threaded so you must screw or spin it off/on the lamp. You have to remove the shade in order to change the bulb- it's a little labor intensive. The metal shows some wear/patina. The shade has a couple small dings and spots. The lamp shows it's age well and looks great! There are 12 photos. It is adjustable in two areas and made of solid brass. The shaft is a combination of wood and brass. The upper and lower is wood with a Original paint and the center area is a fine ribbed brass. the base is made of wood with original paint also, the bottom does have a cast iron wieght on underneath which I many remove for shipping purposes. This has a lovely glass shade(tiny nick on rim) with a flower design which comes with the lamp. Stylish Antique French Art Deco Bronze Dear and Marble Table Lamp, 1920s-30s
Here on offer is a stylish antique French art deco bronze dear and marble table lamp. Dating to the 1920s to 1930s. This gorgeous table lamp was purchased many years ago in a Parisian antique market. The marble base is a beautiful soft pink colour. The dear is beautifully modelled in bronze with a strong dynamic quality that is typical of the art deco period. Sadly the antlers are damaged and there is an area of damage on the deers side. Please see the photos. It stands securely on the base. The lamp and shade support are almost certainly the original. But the cable is a later replacement and is wired for use in France, the plug fitting is continental. I would strongly recommend that an electrician inspects the light before use. ANTIQUE LAMP AMERICAN BRILLIANT CUT GLASS Found in a local estate auction is this beautiful cut glass lamp with a pointed mushroom shade. It dates to the early 20th century. It measures about 17.5" high. Perfect for a boudoir. It is in good condition, no damage aside from minor fleabite chips around the base edge. The prisms are not all original and one is missing. Some have small chipping. This lamp was so dirty that I thought the metal was brass. I thoroughly cleaned it and found under the grime the metal is silverplate. It has a pull chain socket and takes a c-7 chandelier type bulb. The wiring is not original but is still very old and does work. It has an on/off switch on the cord. All old wiring should be checked for safety before use. The socket is marked Bryant. I could not find any other markings. Use my photos for condition ... moredescription. GENUINE 19020/30S ART DECO CHROME COLUMN TABLE LAMP BASE
Here is an original Art Deco Column lamp base. In its original chrome there is just a little wear as shown in the pictures but nothing that needs attention. It has a heavy iron base and has been rewired and just waits for the shade of your choice, quite large at 15" high and the base is 4.5" square, its a lovely example Low start and no reserve.
