The other is missing. There are 5 raised panels at the bottom. The fronts and backs look the same. There is no hardware. These are solid door in need of a little TLC. 2 Antique Architectural Salvage Decorative Green Majolica Pictoral Ceramic Tiles
This is a nice pair of Old Architectural Salvage Majolica Pictoral Tiles. They are 6" square. Both have some edge chips and wear you would expect on these type of tiles. These have a Majolica Glaze. They are both Heavy and weigh over 1 pound each. The mottled Green tile features a Flower Urn and Scroll Motif. And is 1/2" thick. The Solid Green one features a Mandolin with Fruit and Flower Baskets, and is just a little thinner then 1/2" thick. I get the impression that these are Italian in origin, but I don't know for sure. The Mandolin Tile is marked with a"P" on the back, the other tile has no markings that I can see. These are wonderful old tiles which would look great in a fireplace surround or any other project. Somewhere Over The Rainbow' On a Sunday drive in the Kansas countryside. My husband and I came upon a Victorian house that was in the process of being torn down. Asking about purchasing any of the gingerbread, it was all, already spoken for except for the EIGHTEEN beautiful corbels, attached at the very high roof lines. Climbing tall ladders and upon inspection, we were delighted at the impossible, wonderful shape they were in for an antique house built in 1910! We purchased them and my husband spent the weekend on a ladder, detaching them from the house as carefully as possible. Later, he said.No more Sunday country drives! I know that it was remodeled but I do not know when. We are updating the entire house now and I would really like these fixtures to go to someone whom appreciates them. They are very stunning and very eye catching. Each fixture holds 3 lights and as far as we can tell, they work well but that was on a quick test run and were never used on a daily basis but for the right person they would have No issues fixing any problem with them. Description This is a beautiful Antique Stained Glass window that was salvaged from a Victorian home. It was originally part of a larger window. But this is all that could be salvaged. This panel is largely original and in a new oak frame. It looks darker at the bottom. But it's just wet from washing. It has a purple border with blue inner corners. The center has a yellow background with 2 purple flowers and blue jewels in the center. There are green leaves and yellow buds. It measures 24 long by 31 tall and is 1.5 thick. Glass only is about 19.5 by 26.5 Overall. It is in very good condition. There are a few tight hairlines. It is flat and tight in the cambing. It needs a better cleaning. A second location was added in 1956 as Anderton's East at 1901 Madison. Herbert Anderton. Closed the Downtown location in 1975 and consolidated the business into Anderton's Restaurant. His son later took over the restaurant. The restaurant had chefs who remained for as long as 50 years. Linda Anderton managed the front of the restaurant while her husband oversaw the food. Description This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. I believe it is made of mahogany and it is currently painted black. The shelf is supported by corbels with ornate acanthus leaf faces. The shelf is trimmed in ornate reel and bead molding. There are great fluted turned and tapered columns below the corbels. The breast has a raised panel with a festoon in the center. There are ornate details to either side also. It measures 59.5 inches long. Is 48 inches tall and is just under 11 inches thick. The firebox opening is 41 wide by 35.5 inches tall. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. Item features a Floral Pattern Brass Base so that item may be displayed and Brass Hands. There are also 3 Copper Orbs. Item disassembles easily and will come that way. 18 Antique Matching Victorian Corbels - All Original - Architectural Salvage
18 individual matching corbels- roof to soffit brackets- from the turn of the century. These form a 90 degree angle. These are in very good condition. They do have a few coats of paint on them. These are solid pine and still dusty- they need a good cleaning with a hose. All but one have an additional piece of 3/4" wood across the short side- that's why the one on the left end is shorter in two of the pictures- this extra piece can be removed. Only the one real chip- 2nd to the left. All 18 are pictured in the close-ups of 6 each.
