These vintage d ecorative Corbels are made of solid wood and can become components for custom mantels. Special bars, or Bookends, wall decorations, functional shelf brackets, and furniture parts are all possibilities. Corbels can also be located beneath ceiling beams or in cased openings.They are 24in. long 3 1/2 in wide 6in. tall. #1A Unusual Carved Corbel Bracket Architectural Salvage 1890
You are bidding on ONE carved. Wooden corbel. Looks to be old redwood. Pair available. These are from a salvage job done in Old Town Orange, CA. Home was built in 1890. Approximately 51 1/4" tall, and 11" wide by 7" deep at the top. Each one cleaned by scraping loose paint and sanding. Then I added an off-white primer and finish paint. Then I roughed each one back up with a finishing sander and polished them with a dark floor polish. Lots of great original paint and colors as shown in photos(gray, red, etc. D' Ring hangars added for immediate install. The shelves and molding were added so that they could be used for display. Paired, they would make an awesome shelf or fireplace mantel by adding your own, additional board. Reasonable starting bid.

Otherwise, there is some random surface rust but not an excessive amount in comparison to the rest of the condition of these pieces. This window was made in Germany in 1895. Brought to Pennsylvania by boat and then placed on a covered wagon and brought to their final destination in Kansas. A Methodist church. They were removed from the church in Kansas in 2010 and brought to Florida. As expected with windows that are 117 years of age. There are some age related issues, small cracks, some chips in the wood as to be expected and paint on the outside is peeling in some spots. They are in excellent condition though and as you can see and show very well. No dry rot to the wood. The lead cames are tight. The shaft has beveled tapered corners. It is notched for the step. It measures 52 tall and 7.75 inches square at the base. It is 6 square at the shaft. Overall it is in good condition. Victoian CAST BRONZE Register VENT Grate 12 x 16 Architectural Salvage 19th Cent
Beautiful. Ornate 19th Century Cast Bronze Heat Register In excellent condition. But in very excellent condition considering this beautiful piece is over a century old! It is 12 x 16(front measurements) the vent piece in the back measures 10 x 14 The vents open and close easily. Great for home restoration, decoration, or other projects. The front is very ornate. Victorian gothic swirls, victorian designs are typically known for being very over the top, and I'd say this one fits the bill! In these times vents and registers were sure to be key features of homes, and interior decor! There is a hallmark on the back. The only letters I could clearly make out were B L E Y MFG CO, not sure what Mfg Company this was. the front actually unscrews from the back. And believe it or not this piece is even more beautiful in person. It has been throughly ... morecleaned. It was either painted, or covered with some oily black residue when I first found it, b/c I initially thought it to be cast iron. However after cleaning, and a bit of research, I found in this period 3 materials were used for registers and fireplace surrounds, iron, brass, and bronze. 2276 Boy the stories this thing could tell! It's an old Cast Iron Wall Grate and Vent. I've done NOTHING to alter it. This is exactly as we found it. You can choose to strip and repaint it.OR leave it with the chippy old white paint. It's in solid condition with no cracks. The little lever is stuck and I've not even tried to pry it open. Also. The metal border on the back is bent. You could remove it altogether, or try to take it off and bend it back. So many times when we find these they no longer even HAVE the back hardware so it's nice that we found this with that in place. Measures 11 3/4" wide and 9 3/4" tall. The back opening measures 10 1/8" wide by 8" tall. Nice decorative old architectural piece would be perfect for any number of projects. Antique Architectural Salvage Furniture Parts Eastlake Pediment/Pine Backsplash
Welcome. Offered today is a lot of 2 antique architectural salvage furniture parts. The first is a pediment from the Victorian period with an Eastlake design. It is made of walnut but I am not 100% sure. It measures 33 1/2" long. It features a scalloped design with a large center detail. The scalloped area is 1 1/2" and the large center is 3 1/8" The piece is 7/8" wide and can sit on a door or window molding. This is in good condition with a lovely patina. The dowels that originally held it in place have broken off but could easily be drilled out if you needed to. The next piece is made of hand planed pine and came off a primitive wash stand or wash table. It was the backsplash. This too has a lovely patina. This measures 32" long and is 5 1/2" wide. It features a curved cut out design on each end. There are ... moretwo holes where it was attached. It is a thin piece. 1/2" but solid. The original color was a pumpkin and one side is more finished than the other which is more rustic. There is a long narrow but shallow slice off of one side.
