Rare 1800's Apothecary Pharmacy Copper Desiccator Cabinet 10"x12"x13" for Pills!
This is an ultra rare all copper double boiler apothecary pharmacy desiccator pill drying box. It still has the glass pipette along side. You can read the description in the pictures listed. It's in immaculate antique condition. It's like a double boiler. They put two layers of copper so they could funnel boiling water through the entire system in order to dry pills on each of the three shelves you see. It's an amazing piece of history. I was told it's from the 1800's. I don't think you will ever find another like this. It measures 10" x 12" x 13" It came from the small mountain town of Ouray. Colorado. This is amazing! Up for sale is this amazing medium sized little wood child's stepback cupboard or could be used for a filing cabinet. The outside is a soft creamy off white and brick or medium red color on the inside. It has old hinges painted over and round wood knobs possibly old spools. It is a great size- not too small- not too large- measuring 37 1/4" high x 16 1/4" deep x 22" wide. Most child's cabinets are a lot smaller than this one. This would make a great cabinet for all those little things you want to put away. It's sturdy and clean throughout- no funny smells- but there is a crack on the top by the left hinge as shown in the pictures. There's a hole in the middle section in the back and the middle section on the back may ... morehave been replaced at some point as the top part is painted and the bottom part also looks original. We don't know the age of this cabinet but it appears to be old. There are scratches. Paint loss, cracks or splits, all part of what comes with owning an older piece. Metal & Glass Apothecary Sterilizer Medical Barber Cabinet -possibly WWI WW1 era
RARE! Attention Collectors! This beautiful little metal cabinet. Painted white measures approximately 14” tall x 12-1/2” wide by 8” deep. Inside shelf dimensions are approximately 11” wide by 7” deep of which there are three removable shelves. Glass front, glass sides with metal back. This was made to hang on the wall perhaps even in an ambulance. The hand painted red cross on the front appears to resemble WW I era iron cross or possibly even Royal Red Cross(Britain) The original estate was owned by a barber– perhaps this was an apothecary piece, but we’ll leave the final judgment in your hands as to where this amazing piece originated from. We believe it to be made out of steel or possibly stainless steel but it is HEAVY at 12 lbs. All original hardware with latching system in perfect working order. Antique Apothecary Watchmaker Cabinet (Local Pick Up Available)
Up for bid is a primitive lookin antique cabinet. I was told by the woman I bought it off of that it was a watchmaker's cabinet that her grandfather owned making it at least 80 years old. Looks very similar to a lot of apothecary cabinets I have seen as well. Stands approximately 42 inches high. 26 inches wide, and 13 inches deep, and weighing 64 pounds. 12 small drawers with dividers, 5 larger drawers without dividers and one large cabinet with 3 shelves. It appears to be missing a single large door that would complete enclose the front of the cabinet. This is old and has many scuffs and scratches. All the nobs on the drawer are present and the overall integrity is great. No large cracks but it seems small repairs have been made over time like small nails in places. Neat cabinet from yesteryear. 16" x 9" x 5" Top three drawers are tin bottom. The rest are all wood. Most drawers slide very easily, though I suppose humidity may alter that throughout the year. Drawers are not very big. a sewing application comes to mind for it's original use. Mostly original patina finish, I would say. More desirable to me, but some may wish it to be refinished.

Vintage Mid Century metal industrial or dental cabinet. This has signs of age which is expected including minimal scratches which are not noticeable. These are the usual signs of wear and scuffs. Construction and sturdiness are excellent. The glass shelves are original and do not have any chips. The handles are bakelite and the lower handle has a small chip at the top that is not very noticeable and doe not effect use. Measurements are: 56 high x 19 wide x 15 deep. Great for use as a showcase. Bar or for a bathroom cabinet.

19th c. Druggist, Apothecary Traveling Medicine Cabinet w/ Orig. Bottles, Scale+
19th c. apothecary. Druggist's traveling box that belonged to Francis Earle(1835-1889) a chemist and patent medicine inventor for many years at 22 Market Place, Hull, Yorkshire, England. Inside are bottles for various medications, as well as part of a scale and old tweezers in the drawers. Among the labels are those for Carbonate of Soda; Essence of Pepper; Tincture of Iron(or Steel) Drops; Compound Licorice Powder; Borax; Spirit of Camphor; Embrocation for Sprains/Bruises; Gregory's Powder; Wakefield Cholera Drops; Eucalyptus; one with no medicine listed; and three with no labels. And finally. There's the bottle that says, simply: The Drops" with directions to put 30-35( drops in a wineglassfull of water. All the bottles. Except for one, bear Earle's label; the other is from C.L. Robinson, Dispensing Chemist, at 60 Market ... morePlace. The bottle is dated 1843, when his business was incorporated The bottles also have newer. Green labels; I think these were affixed as a safety measure/identification when this was sold at auction or in a shop. They can easily be removed with a little warm water, and this will not affect the old labels. The case belonged to Arthur Hull Hayes(1933-2010) Comissioner of the FDA in the'80s, and dean of NY Medical College, who traveled often to England and bought it there. The case has a few splits. One in the back and several at the top of the doors, but is otherwise in good shape. The case measures 8 5/8" high, 7 3/4" wide and 4 1/2" deep. FRANCIS EARLE. Chemist: From my preliminary research. It looks like Francis Earle took over a chemist's business at 22 Market Place as a young man in the mid-1800s. When he died suddenly in 1889, his son E. H. Earle(1864-1951) took ownership. A 1907 article notes that he moved the shop"which has been carried on for nearly 100 years" leading me to believe it had belonged to someone prior to Francis) to 44 King Edward Street, where he ran it until his death 44 years later. Up for consideration is a fine Antique 19th century Pine and Mahogany American Apothecary 44 drawer cabinet. It measures 76 3/4 inches long by 9 inches deep by 41 1/2 inches tall. Each drawer has painted number to match the corresponding slot. Furthermore each drawer has a penciled in description of what went in each drawer. The back has vertical boards with old wall paper affixed. It weighs over 100 lbs. There is quite a bit of old staining to the top of the cabinet as to be expected. Overall it is a good clean piece with a nice glow to it.The photos do not capture the overall charm and coloration of the piece. The drawer sides and bottoms as well as the overall body of the piece is a type of softwood possibly white pine. This is an American piece. The facings of the drawers are solid mahogany. Gorgeous Chinese Apothecary Cabinet
A Beautiful Chinese Apothecary Cabinet with different Chinese lettering on each drawer. It does not appear to be an antique. The cabinet frame material looks to be a particle board with a mahogany or cherry colored laminate on the outside and solid wooden drawers that are colored a red stain on the inside. The cabinet measures 20-1/2" tall x 13-1/2" wide x 6" deep. Each drawer measures 3" tall x 3-1/2" wide x 4-1/4" deep. Each drawer has solid brass round knobs. A charming little piece of furniture!

RARE VINTAGE PULASKI NC APOTHECARY CHEST LINGERIE CABINET GLASS UNION JACK CREST
We are pleased to offer this exquisite piece of furniture! This is a newer vintage(1980s) piece. This is a unique. Art Deco/Victorian apothecary chest/cabinet replica by Pulaski Furniture Company. It features 4 storage drawers, two of which possess brass back plates with Latin medicinal names and white glass door pulls/knobs. The other two drawers feature ornate brass drawer pulls with an Art Deco design. The upper section of the cabinet features a glass front door with white glass pull/knob. The glass is quite striking. It is a reverse paint style(transfer) of a hot air balloon with British, Union Jack, flag design. There is a lion and unicorn crest also present on the balloon. A uniformed man controls the balloon from its basket. The interior of this space has a spacious storage area as well as a divided compartment. The cabinet has bun ... morefeet. The piece has a tag on the bottom which reads"Made by Jessup Furniture Company, Collinsville, VA" Jessup made furniture for many companies including Pulaski and Lane until the mid 1990s. The piece is well made with upper end features such as dovetailed drawers and beautiful hardware. The cabinet is wood with a burled, birds eye maple pattern, wood veneer. This is a very interesting and unique piece of furniture. It is in very good condition with only a couple minor scuffs and surface scratches which can be easily resolved. The top of the cabinet has some scuffs at the back. There may have been a mirror attached to the cabinet at one time. The glass pane of the door is held in place with plastic holders that screw into the unit. Two of these are broken but the glass is held securely with the remaining holders. Please note that we purchased two pieces from the same collection. We have the companion piece of the same collection listed separately. I have only seen one other such Pulaski cabinet ever listed for sale. This was a limited collection and it has been out of production for decades. Expect minor issues. I found two drawers that the front had split and they had been repaired with glue. That is an example. This hardware cabinet was made from at least two Sunkist produce crates! The name"California Fruit Growers Exchange which appears on the crate. As well as"Sunkist" are consistent with my build estimate of early 1930's. Antique Victorian Apothecary Chest Medicine Bottles Locking Wood Box Cabinet Key
For your consideration is this fabulous antique fitted apothecary chest circa 1880. The chest is made of wood and has a working lock complete with a key. It is fitted with various handblown bottles for medicines. There is a removable central tray that reveals another compartment underneath. There are 4 dosage spoons and 6 bottles. The lip is lined with tufted green velvet. Condition: Very good for its age. There are some scratches and wear to the outside of the box commensurate with age and use. There is a gouge about an inch long by the hinge on the back of the box. The stopper of one of the larger bottles is stuck in place. The other large bottle has a crack along the lip. But the stopper is removable. The top of the stopper has broken neatly in half. That part has long been lost. ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE APOTHECARY WOOD CABINET CUPBOARD FILING BOX CHEST TRUNK BOX* Up for sale is this awesome wood three drawer plus top drawer apothecary filing cabinet cupboard. On the outside of this cabinet is red paint with white porcelain knobs. The top drawer measures 18" wide x 9 1/2" deep x 2 3/4" high. Also in the top cabinet you can see there is an old lock inside the drawer and then outside you can see where the key would have gone- it has been painted over. We do not have the key. The three bottom drawers measure 9 1/2" deep x 16 3/4" wide x 1 1/2" high. Total cabinet measures 19 3/4" wide x 11" deep(not counting the knobs) x 12 1/4" high. It weighs 14 lbs. On the front of the bottom drawer there are two holes- they do go through to the other side. I'm not sure what this was for- ... moremost likely a name plate of some sort or maybe an old handle. In all three of the drawers inside- in the back of the drawer there are holes that go all the way through. The hole is also inside the top drawer under the lid. This was likely to lock the drawers. The person would have a rod(not included) that would slide down from the top and lock each drawer in place. Then. By locking the lid with the key(not included) the entire cabinet could be locked up safe! It may have been for a shop owner or perhaps for someone who kept valuables in their home and didn't want any sticky fingers walking off with their goods! Once the cabinet was all locked up, it was easy to carry without losing the drawers by grabbing ahold of the nice brass handles on each side. This is a great size cabinet that could be used for many things! There are some paint spills on a couple of places. Chips, scratches, and holes but it does not take away from the beauty of this cabinet. Great for many uses! The red paint appears to be old but don't think it is original to the piece. Great piece! I purchased this from an antique store in Manhattan many years ago. I am moving and this is another piece that just doesn't fit in my new place. It has four working drawers. One of which has a lock but I do not have the key. It is a significant piece. As it weighs about 50lbs, and measures 30.25" wide x 22" depth x 11" high. It can be used as a piece of furniture, or as a jewelry box, or as cabinet/drawers for the kitchen. It can be put on top of a table or desk. The two top drawers have been divided with panels. Large Antique 60 Drawer Apothecary Flat File Cabinet
I believe this is a 19th century piece. I got it from a locksmith that used it as a parts cabinet in his shop. He told me that he acquired it in the 1950's at the closing of a drug store in Chicago that had been open since before the turn of the century. The locksmith modified the open back file trays by adding a back and turning them into'drawers' he also painted the face brown and the sides blue. Drawer backs can easily be removed and is an excellent piece for restoration. Unfortunately there is one drawer missing. You don't find these every day. Local pick up only. Large. Early 1900's Apothecary Cabinet 20 Drawers Very Unique
I have a very unusual apothecary for sale. Apothecary stands a little over 5 feet tall. Two feet wide, and a right at 2 feet deep. It has twenty different pull out cabinets for storing jars and bottles. The filing cabinet looking drawers pull out along a guide and then rotate to show the contents as can be seen in the picture. The insides of each cabinet have adjustable shelving placements to suit the need of different size containers. I do not have all the small pieces of wood but I do have most of them. They are easily made if you wish to make more and really easy to put into place. They just slide into place. It is made of walnut(not 100% sure but pretty sure it is walnut, and is on four castors that roll good so it is fairly easy to move. I would estimate its age to be around the 19teens to early 20's. I believe at one time the cabinets had labels on them because each one has four very small pinholes in the shape of a rectangle. They are so small it is hard to notice them unless inspected closely and there isn't a ghost image left of where the labels were. Restored Hamilton Letterpress Type Cabinet Apothecary Blue Print Art Jewelry
Hello bidders and welcome to my auction. Up for bid we have an Antique letterpress type cabinet. This is an all American piece of fine furniture. I believe this dates back to the late 1920's as I found paperwork in the cabinet from that era. I acquired this cabinet a few months ago. The piece was completely destroyed. The condition was so bad most people would have trashed the piece. There was no way I was letting this piece of art go in the trash. We put around 120 man hours into restoring this piece. A top, sides and back were made for the piece, all 150 drawers were sanded down, all 150 pull handles were media blasted, primed and painted. All 300 screws were hand polished one by one. After all this everything got 3 coats of stain. I wanted to keep some parts original so we did not touch the inside of the drawers, they are all original ... morewith a great antique smell to them. As stated before there are a total if 150 drawers, the inside measurements of each drawer are 15.5" wide 16.75" deer and 1/2" tall. This size is perfect for you jewelry collectors as well as artists. Also great for blueprints. The entire piece measures a massive 8ft wide 27 1/4 deep 36" tall. Each drawer weighs 2.8lbs making the entire piece somewhere between 600-700lbs. The drawers do not have any dividers. If you would like to know anything else just ask. Shipping within 400 miles of zip 45245 will not be horrible,I would expect about $350 or so. It is unusual since it is made in two seperate pieces that the top slides into the bottom. It is very sturdy and heavy(weighs about 14 pounds unpacked) It is a dark wood and has porcelain drawer pulls on each of it's 7 drawers. Overall measures: 23 inches high by 12 inches across and 7.75 inches deep. It has no structural issues just the a few knicks here and there consistant with use. It truly is a wonderful piece. This would be perfect in a kitchen, with drawers full of gadgets, spices, rubber bands, kitchen twine, etc.or nothing at all. Features 8 drawers with wooden knobs—all original. Each drawer front has a spice name stenciled in black, in an arch above the knob; Mace, Pepper, Cinnamon, Baking Powder, Soda, Cloves, Ginger, and Allspice. The cabinet has a beautiful old honey pine finish(which you could paint/crackle paint if you don't like the wood) and a top arch with 2 hanging holes, and the words'Spice Cabinet' as well as little decorative froofroos stenciled in(also in black) Put together with tiny nails. 1800'S Doctors. Dentist, Medical, Apothecary, Sterilization, Instrument Cabinet. A very unusual item. It is in very good condition, nothing missing or broken as far as I can tell. I searched the internet for a long time and didn't see anything like this one. I can take more pictures if anyone needs me to. It is wooden on the bottom and the top part is metal and metal lined with a hard white bottom. The gallery is metal also. It has vent holes along the top back& Bottom.
