On the back is a metal ... moreplate with"Tyni Switch" on it and I assume is the model name. Also stamped in the black chassis is The Sessions Clock Co. Forestville, Conn, and in another area 60 cycles. Clock motor 25 watt, and 110V AC. There are three wires for connecting the clock's electrical motor to a power source. One black, yellow and red wire. The clock is all metal with a round glass face plate. The brass edging is not real brass, but brass-plating. The four knobs are plastic. The face of the clock has a total of seven different colors used for the graphics. It is roughly 3 1/2 inches in diameter. About 3" deep, and weights about a pound. It looks like it belongs on the polished burl-wood dashboard of a 1949 Cadillac. The face-plate is in almost perfect condition. The scratches in the photos on the gold rim are from light reflecting off the brass plating. But there are very minute scratches from cleaning and polishing. But you only see them when the light hits them just right. They look like ones in a car's polished finish, which even a soft cloth can cause. You only see them in the right light. Three of the four control knobs are working. And you pull them out to engage the gears. Only the knob for the sleep setting is frozen and not working. The knob for the alarm is a little stiff and you have to wiggle it as you pull it out to engage the gears. We should assume the clock is not working. And is being sold as non-working. It's a really cool looking clock. With great colors, straight out the late 1940s early 1950s. I do not know the exact date of manufacture and its only a"best guess" on my part. But from the quality of the metal parts used in the construction, and the real glass face-plate, its a very nice clock, worth repairing or re-building. Antique Ingraham electric mantle clock wood case running but needs a little help
Old Ingraham electric mantle clock. Wood case has a few nicks and scratches but overall nice condition for the age. Plugged it in and it ran after i spun starter wheel. But was a bit noisy. Sounds like it needs a bit of oil on the rotor. I didnt take it apart, i only tinker with key wind clocks. Not sure what it would need to make it run a little quieter. The weight swings back and forth the clock ticks but does not continue to run. I had it looked at and was told the springs are not over wound and the hands may not be original. SETH THOMAS ANTIQUE"VICTOR" ADAMANTINE MANTLE CLOCK. CIRCA 1898 Up for bid is this beautiful Seth Thomas clock. Recently from an estate this clock is a great runner. The cabinet is wood with an adamantine finish. Adamantine was patented about 1873 and it is a plastic like finish that was applied over the wood and usually had a woodgrain pattern or marble effect which is what this one has. Adamantine is one of the hardest finishes that I have ever seen. This one shines nice and has some blemishes on the finish and a few knicks here and there. But shows beautifully as seen in my pictures. It has a 5" brass dial which shows some wear due to age. The clock runs on an 8 day signed Seth Thomas movement. Has a patent date of May 9. 188_ a screw blocks out the last number but I did a search on the pat date and a May 9, 1882 clock comes up as Seth Thomas. I believe it is walnut wood and has nice decorations around it. May have been something on the top center as I see 3 small holes where a decoration may have been at one time. Not a big deal. It is in good working condition, includes a key. Has a paper face in good shape with some discoloration. In nice shape with some minor rubs here and there. Typical well taken care of old clock stuff. Has what looks to be a very long ago good repair on the very ... moretop left decorative arch piece. I only noticed it upon super close inspection. It was made circa in 1920 and was called“WILLARD# 13” It has a Waterbury Clock Co 8-day time only movement which winds with a key on the front. It is a very strong runner! The case is also outstanding with a dark beautiful ORIGINAL finish! The bottom opens up in order to hang the large heavy original pendulum. The clock is large so the pendulum has a slow regular ticking sound. Banjo Clocks are uniquely American– were invented in the US in the late 1700s by Simon Willard. I doubt if the clock has been worked on much as the screws and screw holes for the movement are tight. Even retains the original screws! Antique Wooden Movement with Wooden Gears for Antique Clock. This is an Antique Wooden Weight Driven Movement with wooden gears. This was in with a lot of clock parts we recently purchased from an Estate. I am sorry I do not know the maker but after looking at other wooden movements we believe it to be either Eli Terry or Seth Thomas. The movement is 8.5" tall(not including the hammer) x 6.5" wide x 3.75" deep(including the post for the hands) The movement appears to be intact and in working condition. When we put weight on the pendulum side the pendulum arm moves and the verge moves the gears. When we apply weight to the chime or strike side the hammer works. The fly has writing that appears to read: Repaired March 1927 by E.J. Pay Beverly. This clock belonged to my grandparents. It does not currently run but did prior to being put in storage. You are bidding on this Antique Spelter or White Metal clock topper from the late 1800's. She is a seated Greek or Roman woman with a gold finish and is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks or chips. She measures 6 1/4 inches tall by 5 1/2 inches long by 3 inches deep. My dad collected clocks for many years and always thought he would find that special clock that needed her, but now that he has passed I am going to let her go to a better home. For sale is a beautiful authentic solid aluminum and brass Ships clock. Nautical clock, steam punk clock. The case is made of heavy cast aluminum, 3/16" thick. It is painted in a matte black finish. The 11" solid cast brass bezel holds a glass lens which is held in place with a steel ring clip, not glue. The clock measures 3 1/2' from wall. The bezel is attached on one side with a heavy hinge, and is released on the other by a heavy brass thumbscrew. The vintage Arabic dial is laminated to a wood substrate and fixed to the case with three screws. The clock weighs in at just under 6 lbs. See the photos. The hands are painted steel. The movement is AA Quartz, made in USA. These clocks are hand assembled here at my shop in Northern California. See my other listings for similar items.

There are 3 things written on the back of the face, two being names that I can not make out. They unscrew from the clock base so you can find replacements and put them on. Also at 1 time had a marker or nameplate in the front of the clock that has been removed.
