It contains 32 pages of photographs of actors, primarily in Shakespearian roles, including Warde himself, Edwin Booth, Adelaide Neilson, H.J. Montague, Maurice Barrymore, Lillian Russell, and Louis James. Cracking to front and back hinges, but binding generally very good otherwise except for loose photograph. Printed on high acidic paper, this book holds up well considering. In the late 1870s he partnered with actor Maurice Barrymore and the two agreed to tour plays around the United States. One being the"discovery" of Douglas Fairbanks Sr. and persuading him to move from Denver to join Warde's New York City actors troupe.
