Offering this lot of 12 antique cast iron window sash pulleys. All are in working condition and are in original uncleaned condition. These pulleys were recently removed from my 1920's era home. The front face plate measures 4 1/8" long and 1" wide. With the holes being 3 3/8" apart on center. Wheels measure 1 1/4" in diameter. I have additional pulleys of this size available. 1 Hand Wrought Large Antique 17th 18th C Primitive Iron Skeleton Lock Key
5" Long 1 1/4" Wide 1 nice example of a hand forged key dating from the mid to late 18th century. Circa 1740-1780. This piece has been expertly formed by a period smith with some nice variation and detail making it slightly unique. Large format keys such as this were commonly paired with large door and gate locks. Many associate them with the large box locks used on heavy scale jailer locks of the period. As mentioned there is some slight variation and some slight rust from age. But overall very solid. This over sized example makes a great example for any display or collection. Vermont Federal house. All of these shutters have original green milk paint and their original hardware. They were recently taken off a house on a repaint. Please note that at least 10 sets have original strap hinges and hand cut screws and are around the 1820 period with the balance of shutters having original hardware and paint. Dating from around the 1840’s. The later shutters were from an early addition put on the house around 1840. All of the shutters have wooden pins holding the full mortise and tenon construction. They range between 4 pounds(which are about 7"8" long) 5 pounds(which are 11"12" long) and 6- 6.5 pounds(which are about 14"15" long) The most i have are of the 6 pound weights. Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It is mostly clear distorted glass with some pale green. There are 12 facet cut jewels. I see no cracks or breaks. The frame is a little rough but braces have been added to stabilize it. The frame is square. The glass is arched. It measures 28.5 inches by 27 inches and is 1.5 inches thick. The glass only is 24 by 21.5 inches. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. This gorgeous architectural piece was salvaged from an old church is Southwest Missouri. They are quite unique with a painted tortoise shell or marbled finish. One of the windows has been white washed over this finish. The colors are whte, cream, tan, black and a burnt orange. The wrought iron inserts are also ornate with intricate scroll work and a center, round medallion. The wrought iron is attached to the back of the frames with screws. The windows are in good antique condition. It does have chipped paint and the iron has an aged and rusted patina. The wood is old but still intact.
