Overall condition is good antique(see below, and pics) The embroidery is blue and that gives the overall color but the base fabric when you look at it is green. The ophreys are beautifully embroidered. Label indicates that it was made in France. Apologies for the poor quality of the photos. And please feel free to ask for more or any other details. Please note the following before bidding or buying this item: 1) The INNER lining of the back of the chasuble is faded– some minor fading can also be seen along the outer bottom of the back of the vestment as well(it appears a little silvery in the second photo- this is NOT the band that appears across the vestment in the first photo. Which is due to the light) Please look well at the photos. 2) There is very minor damage around the cross on the burse– it is noticeable if one looks closely. I have not tried to clean it for fear of damaging the vestment. But my guess it is that it could be. 3) The"tapes"ribbons to fasten the chasuble around the waist. And the maniple around the arm are old and probably need replacing. I have other vestments from the collection which are being offered- please look at my listings in the upcoming week if you are interested. Combined shipping is offered. This embroidered stole is exquisitely embroidered in fine detail with gorgeous thread content. There is normal aging to this vestment that just adds to its charm. It is encased in two frames that measure 28" H x 11 1/2" W. The vestment width is 2 3/4" at its narrowest and 4 1/ at its widest. The length is 22" to end of fringe. They are protected by glass. The true colors of the vestment show in the lighter photos. The yellow photos are to show you the frames. Rarely do you see such fine needlework. It is becoming a lost art. Concelebrant vestment is an straight orphrey from neck to hem. 9 items in all. 2 Chasubles. Matching stoles, 2 cinctures from Euroclero/Rome, one chalice veil, one matching pall and one matching burse. See photos! Garments are in impeccable condition and without blemish. The entire piece is 9 1/2 x 10 inches. Used the best quality material and workmanship. Used in the early 20th century by an EX Chaplin of the US Navy after he served time on the USS Texas. 1 Vintage Fabric Panel/ Catholic Church/Altar/Vestments/White and Silver
One vintage fabric panel from a Catholic Church. I'm not sure if it was used on the altar or is a piece from a priests vestment. The panel is white see through material and all the trim is silver. There are 2 holes as seen in the photo. Being sold as is condition. It measures 50 inches wide and 39 inches tall. Any questions please feel free to ask.

Vintage Byzantine Eastern Orthodox Vestments Lot Communion Liturgy Cuffs Sash
Vintage lot of Eastern Orthodox Vestments. Numerous items. Cuffs, Sashes, other various items. Finely detailed, and extremely ornate. There are over 30 items in this fine lot. These items are from the estate of a local Orthodox Church. A few of these vestments may need cleaned since they have been in storage since the church has closed for a good number of years now. I have not attempted to clean them myself as I did not know the care needed for such fine vestments.
