Hello, Up for auction is a really cute little orange juice pitcher. I am unsure of the age or of the use of this item- it could be a childs toy due to the size. It measures about 2 1/2 inches tall by 5 inches long. There appears to be a very small chip out of the rim- not really noticeable. On one side orange juice is stamped on- on the bottom is Bavaria. 1859-1860's SUNDERLAND LUSTRE CHINA PITCHER AGAMEMNON 10.25" X 7.5"
We are offering in this listing an attractive& impressive Sunderland lustre English soft paste china pitcher/jug. We are estimating that this pitcher/jug was made circa 1859-1860's. From 1857 to 1859 repairs& reconstruction was done on the Sunderland bridge by Robert Stevenson. The bridge was stripped back to its six iron ribs& the hump was leveled in its middle by raising the abutments. The bridge was reopened in March 1859. As the pitcher/jug has the wording"New Bridge Over the Wear Sunderland" the pitcher would have been issued after the repairs were completed. The pitcher/jug measures 10 1/4 inches across the handle& spout by 7 1/2 inches tall. The top to the outside of the rim from left to right measures 5 3/8 inches& the base diameter is 5 5/8 inches. The pitcher/jug has a transfer decoration with hand ... morepainted color details of New Bridge at Sunderland. The other side has a transfer scene of" The Agamemnon in a Storm" with hand painted color details. The scene makes reference to a storm in June of 1809 which resulted in the wreck of the famous ship. HMS Agamemnon was a 64-gun third-rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy. She saw service in the American Revolutionary. French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, and fought in many of the major naval battles of those conflicts. She is remembered as being Nelson's favorite ship, and was named after the mythical ancient Greek king Agamemnon, being the first ship of the Royal Navy to bear the name. The future Lord Nelson served as Agamemnon's captain from January 1793 for 3 years and 3 months. During which time she saw considerable service in the Mediterranean. After Nelson's departure, she was involved in the infamous 1797 mutinies at Spithead and the Nore, and in 1801 was present at the first Battle of Copenhagen, but ran aground before being able to enter the action. Despite Nelson's fondness for the ship. She was frequently in need of repair and refitting, and would likely have been hulked or scrapped

There is a gold trim around the rim of the pitcher. Ornate handle. Heavy pitcher weighs 4 pounds. It is in very good vintage condition except for a crack down the handle which appears to be a manufacturing defect. There are no chips or crazing. Displays nicely. Then in 1877 he bought the porcelain factory that had been established by Jouhanneaud and Dubois in Rue du Petit-Tour(Limoges) And which had been bought in 1867 by the Utzschneider Company of Saurregemines and run by Leopold Dubois. This enlarged company produced a wide range of wares, selling a lot of whiteware and also continuing decoration. Guerin's sons William and Andre joined the company in 1903. In 1911 W. Guerin& Cie merged with the nearby Pouyat factory. Buying 3/4 of Pouyat; the new firm became Guerin& Cie. Possibly both company marks were continued. WWI greatly decreased output. Up for consideration is this Fine old Antique Warranted 6 Cup or 1.5 Quart Handled Pitcher with a date that we believe is 1838. But it could be 1888. It is in very good'as found' antique condition. There are a few cracks but they do not go all the way through and on the bottom there is one very small chip at outter base(see photos) None of the cracks go all the way through to the inside of the pitcher. Striking 5-Piece Sky Blue Victorian Porcelain Wash Bowl & Pitcher Set France
This auction is for a Fabulous Victorian 5-Piece Wash Bowl and Pitcher Set. The set Displays Wonderfully. It will add a burst of color and will instantly become the focal point of any room. Each piece is marked"France" on the bottom. I am not certain of the maker but by the form and feel and style the set is clearly Victorian and likely dates to the late 1800s. The set is decorated with a beautiful sky blue color against a white porcelain and gold edging. The pieces are molded with a relief leaf and scroll designs. The set consists of a large pitcher(11 inches tall) A large bowl(16 inches across) a smaller pitcher(7 inches tall) a soap dish and a cup. The set is in very good condition. Especially for its age. There are no chips in any of the pieces. With the exception of a small hairline in the edge of the cup(see last photo) The ... moreset is also free of any cracks. There is under glaze crazing in the spider web shape on the bottom of the large pitcher(see photo 11) and the loss of gold accent paint, primarily on the edges and use points. Antique Vintage Warwick Pitcher 1 Quart 9.5 Inch 10GA Brown Flowers Both Sides
This pitcher came from an auction in Vermont. It is marked 10GA Warwick on the bottom. Warwick was out of Wheeling. West Virginia from 1887 through 1951. The pitcher has the brown shading background with light flowers on each side. It measures 9 1/2" high to the top of the spout. 6 1/2" from the handle to the tip of the spout, and about 5" in diameter at the widest point. It has some wear, see all pictures. There is a chip on the handle, see the 10th pictures, and a couple of surface chips/wear, see the 5th and 11th picture. The pitcher holds 4 cups when full. There is crackling in the glaze.

Vintage/Antique "Mary Gregory" Porcelain Juice Pitcher -5.5" Tall - signed
Isn't this pitcher a beauty? I don't know the maker of this piece but Mary Gregory painted it because she signs all of her work. Westmoreland use to have her paint for them on just glassware but she started painting a lot of other things as well. This pitcher is perfect. The gold around the rim and all the way down the back of the wide handle. It is 5.5 inches tall and from spout to handle it is 5.75 inches wide. It is very pretty.

I have for you this evening a large 11.25" ridged handle porcelain pitcher made By Royal Worcester and decorated in the design studio of that maker. This example is made of very fine translucent porcelain and is cast into a unique mold shape that has been a staple for the company for well over one hundred years. This gorgous piece is fully hand painted with floral designs including purple andblue and others in Autumnal colors of rust and yellow. All the floral decorations and foliage are trimmed in gold and the handle. Base and rim are heavily trimmed in gold gilt as well. The entire piece is just magnificent and will be a welcome addition to your collection. This will show amazing in your cabinet or on your favorite table. Antique CHOCOLATE PITCHER POT & 5 CUPS Pink Snowball Hydrangea DRAMATIC BROWN!
Very unusual DARK and DRAMATIC SET! This auction is for a Chocolate Pot or Pitcher and a set of FIVE(5) Matching Cups. Each is done in a dark Chocolate Brown color with a lighter area that has a vignette of big PINK SNOWBALL HYDRANGEA and LEAVES. Each piece is trimmed with GOLD along their rims. The pitcher has an unsusual fat body shape with a pinched in area to form the pour spout. Pitcher measures 7 inches tall and about 9 inches across from spout to outer edge of handle. The Cups or Mugs measure 3-5/8 inches tall and 3-1/4 inches across the top opening. You will see lots of crazing to the glaze on the inside of the cups and a bit of crazing underneath the base of the pitcher. There is one age crack in one cup that measures 1-1/2 inches long that DOES NOT go through to the outside. You will see some mild little white spots here and there ... morewhere the original brown glaze may have flaked off or had a little scratch. these spots are minuscule and are mentioned for sake of completeness only. There is some wear to the gold on the spout of the pitcher and along the upper rim and more"white spots" on the back side of the pitcher- more noticeable there. Also on the backside of the pitcher is a odd scuffle mark- like someone touched it with a wad of newspaper or something while the glaze was still wet. see the photograph so you can understand what I'm describing. These flaws sound terrible. But overall this set displays MAGNIFICENTLY! The coloring is so unusual and SO DRAMATIC! I would estimate these from the early 1900s or perhaps even earlier. No chips or cracks or repairs. I've never seen another set like it! NO maker's mark. Please ask any and all questions. this set is NOT perfect. But it is gorgeous and it will be sold AS-IS with no returns. Antique English China Pitcher - 5.5 inches - Gothic - Registration Mark
Very handsome small English china pitcher. The body measures 5.5 inches with the handle coming in at 6 inches. It has a gothic feel to the design which is enhanced with gold. There is a registration mark on the bottom- but I can't make out the information. But I would say due to the style of the pitcher and with the diamond shaped registration mark- I would date this piece from 1860s to 1880s. It would have to be made before 1883 because that is the last year the diamond mark was used. This is in good antique condition with no chips or cracks or repairs. Antique "Meakin" English Ironstone Pitcher - 5 Qt.
This is one of the more graceful shapes I have seen. Together with the lovely reliefwork fern and floral medallion. There is no wear, as shown in the pictures and the only mark I see is a fine line in the ironstone body from manufacture which is under the glaze. The capacity is 5 qt. and this is a very impressive piece to add to your collection or feature by itself with seasonal floral displays. It measures 12-1/2" to the top of the spout; 8" from the spout to the handle and the base is 4-1/2" in diameter. It is well marked on the bottom. As shown in the picture. This is a lovely 5 piece pitcher. Vase, dish with lid, and small pitcher antique chamber/dresser set. It is pink and white with flowers. The pitcher is 27.5" around at its largest point. It does have a hairline crack(almost not noticeable) in the spout. See photo. The dish's lid also has a hairline crack. See photo. The bottom of the dish has a tiny chunk missing. See photo. They are yellow, black, blue, red and green. The handle is quite fancy with a thumb rest, spurs and curlicues. It was made in the Staffordshire district in the 1830's period and has an impressed numeral"5" on the base. When I acquired this pitcher, it had an old repair to the right side of the spout for a missing piece of the rim. I had this professionally restored by a true artist and it looks absolutely perfect.
