This is a gorgeous vintage sterling St. Christopher medal that is surely a rare. Special find! These were very popular in the 1950s when kids of all ages would wear these for protection against harm. On the front of the medal is a raised image of St. Christopher with a light greenish blue or bluish green(depending on the light) translucent wash. Some might call this color seafoam. This Item: Vintage sterling silver sliding St. Christopher's medal with unusual cut-out design. Measurement: Measures 1-1/16" long(excluding decorative bale tab) And is 11/16" across. Weight: 8.8 grams- no added bale ring. Hallmarks/Stamp: Stamped inside. Sterling" with an unknown maker's mark.
