Antique Blue and White Parian Pitcher Very Unusual Scallop Shell Motif Creamer
Lovely. Unusual stylized sea shell decoration on Parian Pitcher. The scallop was often carved into American Chippendale furniture from the 18th Century. Perfect size for milk or cream. Among my grandmother’s treasures was a collection of Relief Molded and Parian Pitchers. This pitcher is the perfect size for milk or cream. Indeed my grandmother often used it after dinner for coffee. The overlapping scallop shell motif is very unusual in a pitcher. Even more so for a Parian pitcher. The shells are further highlighted by the use of blue slip between the rows. It fits right in with my grandmother's love of New England. This type of stylized scallop shell was often carved into the famous antique Chippendale furniture. Made in New England. Typical for Parian pitchers. This one is very delicate and thin walled. It is probably English. Although ... morethe interior is glazed—therefore usable—which was a distinguishing feature of American Bennington Parian ware. It probably dates from the 1850s. Size: about 5 ¾ inches tall and about 4 inches wide at the widest and 5 inches from handle to spout. Condition is great except for a what appears to me as a couple of manufacturing flaws: a few tiny dark spots. Some surface hairlines near the spout that have darkened with age and what looks like a chip on the bottom ridge, except its edges are smooth. To me. That suggests that it happened before it was fired. The hairlines do not extend to the inside of the pitcher. Although one can be seen from the inside because it is darkened and because the wall is delicate and thin. They have obviously been there for quite a while and I would assume they happened during or shortly after the pitcher's firing. While it was cooling. A porcelain handpainted M. Z. Austria pitcher. Painted with roses and leaves. A very small amount of 24K gold left on the rim. This pitcher measures about 3 inches tall x 4 inches across the handle and spout. This is signed M. Z. Austria(Moritz Zdekauer) With a green stamp. 1850s Antique Staffordshire England Copper Luster Individual 3" Creamer Pitcher
Here is a lovely little antique creamer glazed in copper luster and made in the Staffordshire area of England from the 1840s to the 1860s. Copper luster was popular during the period because it reflected the gas lights that brightened each home in the evening hours. This creamer is an early piece with no manufacturer's mark and is made from ironstone dipped in copper luster. The individual creamer measures 3 1/4 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches in diameter from the spout to the handle. The copper glaze is in beautiful condition. With no stains. This is such a gorgeous antique vintage pitcher/creamer. It is marked porcelain and something else that I cannot make out. This comes from my own personal collection. It measures 5" tall and 5 1/2" wide handle. There are no chips. There is a veiny thing as pictured on spout. I can feel it but it does not go thru or anything. ViNTaGe Wheelock Luster Egg Shaped Pitcher Creamer Jug Vase~Applied RoSes & Gold
This unique vintage piece is shaped like an egg with a textured iridescent finish. Jagged edges to the top opening, beautiful applied pink roses with gold highlights and trim, a triple footed base. And an unusual handle on the end. It measures 4 1/2" tall not counting the handle(or 4 7/8" tall to the top of its handle) By just under 7" long from handle to opposite end, by a little over 2 1/2" wide. It still has its original Wheelock Peoria Made in Japan foil label on the bottom. It is in very good condition. And has no chips or cracks. There is some clear crazing which is very common in older pieces. no discoloring. Bright spots are only light reflections. Very unique piece looking for a new home! ANTIQUE TEMPLE TORII PORCELAIN PITCHER / CREAMER Hand Painted Scene MORIAGE
This lovely porcelain pitcher has a detailed hand painted scene of flowering trees. Hills, and cottages beside a cool stream, with little dusky patches in the sky. The painting of small details is carefully done, rather than the slashes of paint sometimes seen in oriental scenes; and some of the blossoms on the trees are dotted with white moriage(raised dots of paint) There is also gold on the rim and handle. The words“Hand Painted Made in Japan” are on the bottom with the torri back stamp(Gate of Honor) But it is very faint so I’ve included a photo of a clearer one from a saucer. The pitcher is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and measures 4 ½” in diameter x 2 ¾” high, not including the spout. There is a matching cup and saucer in a separate listing. It was made between 1853 and 1925. There is crazing consistent with age. Please look very carefully at the pictures. I love the design and lines of this. This is in fair condition because the gold has faded from use mostly around the rim. Glaze is missing in a couple of tiny areas, small area near the base on the outside is lightly discolored and tiny fleabite on the inside of the top rim which is difficult to see. Also very fine surface crazing but it does not detract from this. This is still a lovely flow blue piece even with the flaws and displays well. Small Antique Folk Art Pottery Creamer - Pitcher Earthenware Hand Painted Tulip
Hi. For sale a small antique redware pitcher or creamer. The pitcher is cream colored with hand painted brown slip glaze Pennsylvania Dutch Tulips. Leaves, dots and lines. There is a chip on the bottom rim painted band(see picture) There is some crazing and some paint is wearing off due to age. I took close up pictures to show the paint fading and crazing. Crazing is mostly on the top of the pitcher or creamer. You need to look close to see the crazing- there is also a few tiny pottery marks or holes from when it was made. Lovely! Embossed White Creamer or Pitcher Royal Ironstone Charles Meakin 1870-82
From a cousin’s estate we have a WONDERFUL vintage embossed pitcher or creamer. It is white Ironstone made by Charles Meakin in England. This is a smaller cream pitcher with embossed flowers and possibly a ribbon on the backside by the handle. The top of the handle is ornate as well. The seam can be seen on the side- that is not a crack. There are speckles here and there under the glaze- kind of flaked blue or black. There are a couple small spots where the glaze is flaked off near the spout. No cracks and no chips. It is in extremely lovely condition for its age! See photos. Approximate measurements: 5-1/2" tall to handle and spout. 4-5/8" tall at middle, 5" from handle to spout, 2-7/8" across. The bottom is slightly oval measuring 2-3/4" x 2-1/5" across. Vintage W M Co Semi Porcelain Pink & Yellow Carnations Mums Milk Creamer Pitcher
This is a Vintage W. M. Co. Semi Porcelain Milk Creamer Pitcher. It stands about 7" tall and from handle to spout 7" wide. I would say it hold about a quart- liter size pitcher. It has been used and has very few scratches to the surface. There are no chips or cracks to the milk creamer pitcher. Some minor worn gold paint& some minor crazing to the glaze look. I am not sure of the pattern. I called the flowers Carnations& Mums? I would say it is in great condition and worth adding to a collection.

Very nice Antique Ceramic Porcelain Pitcher or Large Creamer Transferware Floral design(apple blossoms? that has also be handpainted to color the flowers Gold paint trim around the neck. On the handle, and also around the top rim. Some of the gold paint has worn off on the top rim and also the top of the handle. There is a rough area on the top rim where the gold paint is worn but I do not think it is a chip but rather where the paint has gathered. There are 4 tiny black dots that are in the china from the original firing. Two on the outside and two on the inside. I would date this about 1880-1910? but that is just a guess It is marked with a red"S" in a red diamond shape and the numbers"1446 and 54" in red on the bottom. I could not identify the maker. IT IS TRIMMED IN GOLD ON THE HANDLE AND SHOWS SOME SIGNS OF WEAR. THERE ARE NO CHIPS. CRACKS OR DAMAGE. CT Germany, CT Germany was first part of a mark used by a company in Altwasser. Germany(now part of Walbrzych, Poland) in 1845. The mark was used by Carl Tielsch. The Hutschenreuther firm took over the company in 1918 and continued to use the CT. CT Germany was used by the Hutschenreuther firm even after the Altwasser factory. Antique Miniature Pottery Pitcher Creamer Primitive Decor Green Drip Glaze This little pottery pitcher was hand formed. It has an applied strap handle, the spout is small and pulled, and the body has a bulbous shape. The outside top was decorated with a deep green drip glaze, which covers part of the handle as well. Measures 3 3/4" high to the top of the strap handle, and is 3" wide across the bulbous body. Unmarked on the base-dates to around 1900. Condition is extremely good with no cracks. Chips or repairs. There is all-over age crazing on the piece. The strap handle is a little off to one side. There are some tiny glaze pops and skips at the top and on the handle. I don't know much about this piece other than that it was passed down by my grandmother. Its an antique china pitcher with a trademark on the bottom that says"Warranted Ironstone China Trade Mark John Edwards" There is also an imprint I tried to picture that says"Seine" with a mark underneath.
