The lower bureau is 55.5"WX24"DX36"H. On top is the 40" high original ornate beveled mirror that has some light silvering but still is in fine condition. Antique Golden Oak 3 Drawer's & Door, Original Pull's Commode
A wonderful piece of furniture made approx. 100 years ago and still has a look that will enhance any home. This Commode once held the things needed for every day use. Washing and cleaning of one's self. It would be a porceline set of bowl and pitcher behind the door and cleaning clothes and toweld in the drawers. One drawer has dove tail and is in good condition as is the front, back and sides. The other drawer has been fixed the sides to the drawer have been replaced.The top has a small mark that you can see in the pictures. The mark can be rubbed out with the proper wood solution it might be the shellac or polyurethane aging or possibly a candle left on the wood leaving a small circle of a mark. There is one small knick at the same end as the oher mark. All drawers work smoothly and the door opens and closes all the way properly. There ... moreis no key, but it would not be hard to find a key that would work if you so wished. The Commode measures 28" tall. 26" wide, 14" thick, Top is 27 1/2" long, 15" wide, 3/4" thick. Real Vintage Golden OAK Highboy Dresser w/ Wooden Carved FLOWER Knobs Pretty!!
Offered is a vintage highboy dresser featuring carved flower knobs! It has 10 drawers which are all dovetail construction, and two drawers have locks. But when I bought the piece 8 years ago from a private seller in Illinois. They did not have the keys, or any other information about it. It is heavy and sturdy. with no significant scratches. The largest dimensions are 56 inches tall(including both parts) 35 inches wide 20.5 inches deep Manufacturer and specific age unknown. Manufacturer numbers on upper piece is 1234 1/2 and numbers on main piece is 1264. The top piece just sets on top of the main piece making it much easier to move such a heavy dresser. The age I am guessing anywhere between 1900-early 1950s. I re-decorated my master bedroom into a mid-century modern theme and my other rooms do not need a dresser.
