The finish is original and in very good condition considering age. The wood shows minor signs of age and wear and is in very good condition. There are no chips. Though I did take a closeup of a dark line you can feel, on one leg, and a closeup of the same leg on other side. As you can see, the line does not go all way through, so I do not know what it is. You may notice a few small areas of different tone, probably different pieces of wood took stain differently. The marble top is described above, and could use a gentle polishing, but not necessary. Take a look at the photos. It has all sorts of burl accent panels, rosette buttons all over the place and the base has big bold heavy legs with button accents and burl trim up and down. The legs are joined together with a center turn finial and end in porcelain wheels. There are few flecks here and there and a couple of buttons missing here and there on the trim. The white and gray grain marble has a reverse curve corner with skirted matching base and an ogee bevel edge. The overall size is 31 inches long, 24 inches deep and 30 inches high overall. There are no serious repairs needed on this heavy duty high quality table.

Condition: Used Location: Fairfield, United States We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful white and gray grained turtle top marble top Victorian age parlor stand that is carved all the way ... morearound including the legs and skirts. It is a great table dating from the 1870s to 1880s. I am confident that it has had an overcoat applied at some point in its past, but it has a warm mellow touch to the medium walnut stain finish. The table consists of walnut and mahogany. It is all hand carved with the floral arrangements on the serpentine skirts and cabriole style legs. The four legs are joined together with cross stretchers in the center with a huge center finial that is an open cup. The overall size is 36 inches long, 26 inches deep and 30 inches high. The overall condition is good and tight. There are a couple of minute chips on the marble that we will detail out prior to shipping.

It is a beautiful ... moretable form the civil war era of the 1860s. It is in pretty much original condition and in good shape. Someone had a plant pot on it for years and it left a center ring on the top that is approximately 6 inches circular. It could easily be covered with another plant pot or lamp. The table is beautiful with a wide shapely ogee bevel edge white and gray grained marble that sits upon a rosewood and walnut hand carved base with outside legs that are joined together with a cross stretcher and center finial. The overall size is 41 inches long, 28 inches deep and 29.5 inches high.

This beautiful 19th century dresser features an abundance of gorgeous carvings and burl walnut accents on the crest of the tall dressing mirror.The original period brass pulls, period dove-tailed ends on the drawers and all the casters intact on the base. This splendid dresser measures a total height from the floor to the top of the mirror of 92 inches(7 ft 8 inches) A total width of 51 1/2 inches, height from the floor to the top of the dresser sides measures 36 inches, and height from the floor to the marble at the center measures 23 inches, with a total depth at the base of 20 inches and this dresser weighs approximately 150 lbs. The marble at the center measures 22 inches wide by 14 1/2 inches deep. The vintage replacement ... moremirror measures 47 inches in height by 19 inches wide. This dresser has four smaller drawers(two on each side) over the two larger ones at the base. All the locks are intact on the drawers but we do not have the key. The vintage replacement mirror is in wonderful condition and the original white inserted marble at the center of the dresser has no issues we can find. Please note the picture showing the back of the dresser shows that some small metal braces were placed on the back at some point in time to help secure the mirror portion to the sides.not an issue but wanted to point this out. The marble has a small 6" surface run that does not go through to the back. There are two upper drawers that are 20" wide and 6" deep. The two lower drawers are 41" wide and 8" deep. It came in on a recent load. And was very clean. Someone probably refinished it a long time ago, and all we did was tighten it up, scuff it down and re-spray it to remove all the nicks and dings. It has a great look, a dark walnut stain finish, white and gray grain marble tops in really nice condition with minor stains and no cracks. It also has hand-cut dovetail drawers, big burl walnut panels on the front, and carved medallions in the center. It also has the old teardrop dresser knobs of ebony. The top of the dresser has what looks like the original mirror, along with the original candle shelves that was used to hold the oil lamps while gazing at your reflection. It also has all original carving and decoration on the back, and the top of the carved crest, the applied cutout carved trim, button medallions, applied burl panels and clamshell carved crest on top, all intact. Very ornate carved wishbone mirror, fancy carved key escutcheons on the drawer fronts and the original wood pulls on the drawers with dove-tailed joinery on the drawer ends. This fine 19th century dresser measures 77 inches in height to the top of the carved crest on the mirror. Height to the marble at the front measures 33 3/4 inches, width measures 40 inches and depth front to back is 19 1/4 inches and this dresser weighs approximately 150 lbs. Antique Victorian Drop Center Marble Top Dresser w/ Pivot Mirror
A very cute little dresser brought up from Georgia to the Asheville NC area 20 years ago. Judging from the style and the candle shelves on either side. Late 19th Century. Features the original marble. Clean and unbroken, the original antique mirror, all of the original drawer pulls of figured brass, and the original casters. Original finish- has not been stripped. Stands about 80 inches high and 16 inches deep- it is a smallish piece and stands nice and shallow out from the wall- perfect for a small guest room or an accent to a large room. I'm not certain. But the wood is probably walnut. The five drawers all work just fine and have unusual'round peg dovetailing' construction(shown above in a detail shot) The hardware is ALL original EXCEPT that the bolts that originally held the pivoting mirror have been replaced by heavy screws. ... moreWhich doesn't affect the look of it too much(and they could be fairly inexpensively restored with something vintage) The mirror section is removable to facilitate moving. A very handsome piece. With minimal scratches and wear. The hand-carved details are a bit on the rustic side and not terribly fussy or'polished' workmanship. Almost folk arty. It is a solid piece and nice and usable still, with a decidedly'country' feel to it. The piece is actually quite light once the drawers are pulled out for transport and is not too heavy to lift at all. I love the carved details and personality of the thing! I do not want to ship it if I can help it- would prefer local sale. We live in Mars Hill. North Carolina, just 20 minutes from Asheville and easy directions to find us. I can help move it as well. Beautiful Antique Eastlake Victorian Marble-top Drop Center Dresser
This bureau belonged to my grandmother. Unfortunately. I do not have space for it any longer. I believe this is"Victorian Eastlake" It is in very good original condition with original hardware. Sold as is. No one has painted, refinished or otherwise tampered with it. There was never a mirror from the time my grandmother acquired it. Local pick-up only! Dimensions are: 51 inches wide. 19 inches front to back and 33 inches at the tallest point. It is a large piece and heavy but the side sections with small drawers and the marble pieces come off for moving. Probably best to have a van or large-ish SUV to move it.

This is a really nice old Eastlake Victorian dresser. It is in remarkably good condition. The drawers have the pegged scolloped rabbet joint very typical of the 1870's. The drawer bottoms are all original and in good condition. The top drawer which got a lot more use than the other drawers was worn on the bottom so its sides have been added onto to make them the proper size. The knobs have been replaced. But there is just one hole in the drawer indicating that the original pulls were single knobs. More pictures can be made available upon request for such things as I just described. This dresser is 98 inches tall to the top of the mirror. The dresser base is 26 inches tall to the top of the marble and it is 46 inches wide. The depth from front to back is 20-1/2 inches.
