Up for consideration is a fine Swan Harped Quarter Cut Tiger Oak highboy or gentleman's dresser. The dresser measures 74 inches high by 24 inches deep by 36 inches wide. The mirror is fine condition. The piece has all it's original hardware with brass bail handles. Likewise the original beveled mirror. It is interesting to note that the dresser has an ultra clean back and interior of the drawers. The drawers have old newspaper for 1937. They are ultra clean with light signs of wear. The quartered oak graining can be see in the pictures. It doesn't really show in the pictures but this piece is rather chunky with large pawed feet with old wooden wheels. Wonderful wood salesman sample washstand from an estate in Iowa. The wash stand measures 12 1/2" tall. 7 1/2" wide and 4 1/4" deep. The washstand has a drawer and double doors on the bottom. Sheraton Style Mahogany Chest of Drawers from CT ca 1800
This is your chance to own a piece of Connecticut history. This bureau is a family heirloom coming from an 18th century farm in Old Lyme. It is in very good condition for a piece that is about 200 years old. The top drawer is faced with crotch-split mahogany surrounded by inlay. Each drawer face is framed with beading. The beading is missing in a couple of places from use over the years. Each of the drawers has a lock but we have no keys for them. The hollow brass hardware is original to the piece. Some of the pulls will need repair but the brass is all there. The varnish is crazed from age and it may be the original finish. The mahogany is split in a couple of places from age and there are a couple of nicks in the veneer, all adding to the patina of the piece. The drawers are constructed of poplar. this is a good example of early to mid 19th century bonnett chest. It is in good condition with normal wear. Just small nick on its right side. Measures approx. 45 1/2 inches high. 32 1/2 inches wide and 17 1/2 inches deep. Originial wheels are on and included in size. I am not sure of wood but i think its oak or maple possibly. I believe it is empire style. It measures 8 1/2" wide by 8 3/3" high by 4" deep. drawers are all dovetailed by hand and square head nails used for the other parts. There is grooves on the top drawers where I believe there was a mirror at one time which has been long lost. It is missing one pull and I don't know if they are original. One leg is missing in the back. the piece does have a piece off of the front edge of the top. I believe it is the original finish with wear from the years. This wonderful big tall chest was recently picked from an old Boston area home and is 100% ORIGINAL and in near mint shape! This piece has six drawers. The drawers are all in good condition and have early hand cut dovetails. The drawer fronts are decorated with two raised burled walnut panels each and all six original drawer locks are still present. The original brass and wood drawer pulls are a rare smaller version of the victorian tear drop pulls. Flanking the drawers are beautiful vertical burled columns. This chest is deeper and larger than most, heavier too! It is of great quality and retains a very nice original finish. Antique Dresser All Oak. White Marble Excellent Condition Beveled Mirrors Offered is a beautiful oak dresser or vanity. The outstanding feature is the white marble top and it is in mint condition. This is remarkable considering it's age. The dresser has 3 parts- the mirror assembly. The marble mid-section, and the oak base cabinet. The mirror is attached with 2 wooden rear slats which extend to the base cabinet& screws that hold it rigid. The marble rests on the base. It is solid and sturdy. It stands evenly on the floor. The mirror rests on the rear of the top shelf which is over a marble galleried backsplash and opposing side sections. The flat top surface is clean& smooth white marble, all marble is matching and original to the piece. The base cabinet has 2 pull out drawers over 2 swing out doors which open to a large interior with a center horizontal shelf. The base has 1/4 round fluted columns which match the mirror and a center vertical with carving and a burled oval decoration. The pulls are brass, the locks work, a key is provided. Beautifully grained. Classic c1930's mahogany chest of drawers. Upper chest has double exterior doors with lock and key. Behind these doors are 3 roomy pull-out, removable drawers. These drawers can be taken out to make this piece a TV cabinet holding up to a 30" TV. In addition, 2 large drawers with decorative pull handles sit below. Lots of carved detailing sets off the stunning wood grain designs. Good condition and carefully maintained by owner. Minor scratches on the top surface. Beautiful piece of furniture. 19x35x34.5" Vintage chest of drawers. Refered to as Rustic, or Cowboy or even Lodge pieces. Was at Garner State Park and has writing where people had stayed there. When we received this piece they had put vinyl on the top and it was horrible. We removed it and our intention was to just put a finish on it, but I laid a piece of leather on it and wow it was beautiful. So it stayed. It was made for and was in a state park here in Texas until they had to remodel the cabins. The top drawer has some writing, which I left alone. It is made of cypresss. This a pick up piece but if you want to pay the shipping I will gladly give you a quote for that, all I need is your zipcode. It can all be accomplished here on ebay for both of our protection.

The breakfront design, turned quarter columns, inlaid diamond escutcheons and shaped frieze by the feet are all original vernacular details. As you can see this is profusely carved piece with flower and leaf detailing and lots of turned spindles. This is a two piece dresser with two cupboard doors to the base with two drawers above. The upper section is a double door food cupboard with single shelf to the interior. The pierced sections have been later backed with yellow fabric to provide a pleasing contrast- we can remove this if preferred. A stunning piece providing useful storage in any room. Condition: I would describe this as being in good order for its age with minor marks. One turned acorn is missing. The key does not work. 6 Brass Victorian Lions Head Drawer Pulls Dresser Hardware Ornate Gargoyle
Found these in a box with a bunch of other brass and porcelain knobs. Not sure where they came from or what they were suppose to be used for but the box has been sitting here for years so out they go. There are 6 handles. There are a few spots where some green has attached itself but they are in good condition overall. There is a slight bend to a couple of them like maybe someone had a hrad time getting them out of what they were in and bent them a little. If that is what happened I can only imagine what the dresser looked like when they got done. The back of the lions head is engraved with what looks like 50727 on one side and 505 on the other. I have shown a picture of it and maybe it will mean something to someone out there. Not sure how old these are but they look old. I don't have any screws for them. Fabulous early 19th century antique American cherry and tiger maple dresser with original Sandwich glass knobs. Dresser measures 39 1/2" across. 19 1/2" deep, and 45" tall. Drawers are constructed with fine dovetails. They all retain their original locks, but I don't have the key. There is writing inside the top of the dresser which I believe details the origin of the dresser. I can make out something that looks like"day before Christmas" and numbers, but I can't read most of it. A photo of the writing is shown in the next to the last photo above. antique r j horner mahogany swan head cheval mirror heavily carved ball and claw
up for auction is just about as nice of a antique empire heavily carved swan head cheval mirror as you will find. i listed it as r j horner. it has a mirror frame like horner and actually the carving and swan's heads are like horner's pieces. But the piece was made in the south. horner was in new york, the northern folks used acanthus leaves for their carvings, the southern ones used tobacco leaves. well this piece has tobacco leaves. it is possible that horner did this special order for someone in the south or who had southern sentiments. at any rate, the carvings and details can not be surpassed. if it is southern empire it was probably made about 1870, if it is horner special order it was probably made about 1890. i hope the pictures give the descriptions of the details of the swan's head and other carvings on the base and ... morethe double stretcher. the feet are ball and claw at their best. it is 74 inches tall, 36 inches wide, and 25 inches deep. the mirror frame alone is 65 inches tall by 29 inches wide. great piece and in wonderful condition, the only defect is a few small chips of veneer gone on the edge of the frame and a couple of small pieces on the top. the wood has been stained and if i didn't tell you, doubtful you would ever know. nothing can be seen when using the mirror the way it should be situated. otherwise the piece is in mint condition, the small chips i mention just to be 100 percent accurate, they mean nothing, can not be seen, and take nothing away from the structure or function of the mirror. the item may be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's expense. good luck. i just bought a meek's 5 piece parlor set and have no where to put it, so i need to clear out a few items to make room for this stanton hall set. by the way, i looked at the pictures on the listing, one of the veneer chips can be seen in the last picture of the close up of the swan's head. the chip is right above the neck of the swan which is above the glass knob of the mirror set screw. there ar

antique federal mahogany heavily carved vanity dolphins for base and mirror harp
for auction is a wonderful federal heavily carved mahogany vanity built circa 1850. this is a great piece has wonderful claw feet with winged extensions all the way around. early empire mahogany chest dresser turned columns very early period piece
for sale a very early empire chest of drawers or dresser. made of mahogany. this piece is as old as dirt. the drawer bottoms and the back of the chest is all hand chamfered. the joints are all hand cut dovetails. what few nails were used to stabilize the bottom of the drawers to the back are square nails. it features four drawers. None the same size. one large one on the top that is stepped out under which are situated two nicely spiral turned columns which come to rest on a platform that the turned front legs affix to. back legs are also turned. the feet or legs all have casters inserted in them. there is a molded trim along the bottom of the chest. it has a few minor dings here and there, none of which take away from its function or beauty plus there are a couple of small pieces of boards chipped out. they are all small and doubtful any ... morewill show in the pictures. it was faded and sun bleached when i dug it out of the barn. i cleaned it with new life and then rubbed a bit of stain on it and sprayed it with lacquer to dry the stain. i do not think it has ever been refinished. at any rate, it is a nice solid very old dresser. i am starting it for less than i paid years ago. 500 back then would make a pretty good down payment on a new car. it is a fairly large chest being 22.5 inches deep, 43 inches wide, and 48 inches tall. overall a very nice hand crafted empire chest made circa 1860. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at buyers expense. good luck.

Antique 19th Century Primitive Pine Small Dresser
I have Primitive Pine Small Dresser with very fine and thin dovetail construction of the drawers. The styling of the drawers is classic for such early American Antiques such as this. I bought this piece over 30 years ago from an antique dealer who dated it from the late 1800’s. Dresser is in good condition with desirable weathering. With knotty pine. It measures approx. 32 ½"h x 33”w x 16"deep and stands nicely on bun feet. It does have some staining on the top There are brass lock and keyholes on all the drawers. One drawer is missing the brass lock and one drawer is missing brass keyhole. Please see photos) The key is not included but all of the drawers are currently unlocked and slide smoothly. This is a butlers dresser. I believe from the 1890's. It's either Mahogany or Walnut and it has all of its original hardware, and its original finish. It has a few scratches on the top and it is missing one back leg although it still stands straight.
