Also called a Thermostatic Valve Assembly.This is nickle plated with porcelain knobs,the lower knob for shampoo is not,but the piece that holds it(plaster held)is there.The incoming stands are 8 to 10 inch offset,20 inches long,and are 3/4 in.ID pipe.The outlet pipe is 18 in,also 3/4 in.There are minor wrench marks here and there on pipes,but otherwise all is good. This does not have a sprayer head. This would be a great unit for a walk in tiled shower. It is also the main ingredient for a Rib Cage Shower.like the one made by Thomas Crapper.It would be shipped in 2 boxes,a total of 15 pounds. Very nice decorative piece with the brass seat that is still in very nice condition and the paint job on the cast metal that still looks good. Neat brass pineapple motif pull and ball hinges. Towel bar has slight warp and is in good working order. Door opens and closes freely. Nice scalloped top shelf, two shelves with lip. Judging by the weight I believe that this is a porcelain-over-earthenware piece. There is no faucet or drain included, this i s for the sink only. This particular model was originally designed with an integral spout. Though you could certainly update to a regular spout given the right faucet set. The glaze is nicely crazed over the entire piece. And there are a few stains in the basin(most likely from a leaky faucet) and ghost outlines from the old escutcheons. Check the photos for condition. There are ... moreno chips or cracks. This is a very solid piece. There are a few tiny rus t-colored dots here and there throughout the piece. Though these are common to fixtures of this age with this type of glaze. There is one small stain on upper portion the pedestal. See photos. Here is an American Standard alcove tub from 1959. It is in'Regency Blue' with a left-hand drain. It is in good overall condition with minimal rust but almost every surface is lightly scuffed/scratched. The floor's enamel is worn with the remaining outlines of tread stick-on shells ... morefrom the previous owner. There are a few spots on the interior where the enamel is scratched, and there are a few small chips here and there throughout. Please check out the photos for condition. The drain hole has a little bit of rust showing but not much. A rust sealer should keep it from spreading prior to installation. The overflow hole shows a bit of cracking in the enamel, though that should be covered by the overflow assembly. There is a large chip on one of the edges. Though this should be covered by tile once installed(see pics) This isn't cosmetically perfect, but it's a well-used survivor. If you can live with some cosmetic imperfections and wear, then this is a great tub! GENERAL NOTES: I just bought out the inventory of a plumbing store that had belonged to one plumber or another in Lincoln Nebraska since the 50s. It was FULL of antique toilets of all kinds. Over a thousand lids, old hardware, handles, all kinds of things. I'm going to be listing it slowly for probably a year or more. So check back if you're into antique plumbing stuff! Here we have one of the three Case kidney tank one-piece toilets I got. See my other auctions for the other two. THIS one is a front-lever kidney. See my other auctions for the other two. Which were side-handle. The toilet is in generally good shape I think, no cracks or chips I could see. It does have mineralization in the bowl. You'll need to do some additional cleaning on this toilet- I don't have the washdown facilities in this warehouse to handle lots ... moreof water and chemicals, so all I can really do with these old toilets is spritz them down with cleaner and wipe off the dust and easy dirt from probably half a century AT LEAST of basement storage. PLEASE be sure you know what you're getting into with these old case toilets. The parts are very expensive, when you can find them. I DO also have the kidney lid for sale separately. The lids are more contemporary castings from the 60s or 70s. As mentioned below, these toilets are a freight item. I will build a crate for this toilet, and the crate will be lined with 1.5" beadboard styrofoam planks. These toilets aren't really very profitable for me given the work they take to make presentable- I have a soft spot for arhictectural antiques and I'd hate to toss these in the dumpster. Totally awesome Hollywood Glam/Regency antique console bathroom or kitchen sink/lav. This is an architectural salvage piece and has some slight surface scratches to the 49 1/8" long x 24" deep x 1 3/4" thick console top which is composite material(black w/white flake) And should polish out as the color goes all the way through. There is also a 45 3/4" long x 1/4" wide slot, 1/4" from the back edge of the top which I assume is for a back splash(not included) The side and front edges have an ogee detail, it is drilled out for an 8" center faucet(not included) and the oval sink cutout measures 18 1/8" wide x 14 1/2" deep. The counter top is marked on the bottom" ID SURFACE? and THIS SIDE DOWN" When you look at the bottom you can see the color goes all the way through. The sink is an under ... moremount, American Standard in white, measures about 23" wide x 18" front to back, and is 7 1/2" deep to bottom of drain. This comes with the mounting screws and brackets shown, no drain hook-ups, see pictures for detail, there is a chip out of the under side of the sink but is not noticeable from the top nor does it effect the stability of the unit. The sink and counter top weigh aver 60#s. The legs are a polished cast brass and come with the screws for mounting it to the under side of the console. They weig h about 13#s apiece. These have some scuffing and will need to be polished out. The apron is in great c ondition. It isn't as scuffed as the legs. This part weighs nearly 6#s. See all pictures for condition detail. The front apron measure 25 7/8" long x 3 3/4" high. this also has the 4 mounting screws. A beautiful focal point piece for any new build or remodeling project. Antique Vintage 'Chase' Bath Tub Drain Overflow Assembly 1930's
Here is a very cool and unique old complete'Chase' tub overflow/drain assembly. This was removed from a home that was built in the 1930's. This has an internal stopper. And it's controlled by a lever that moves from side to side. All components are brass. Both the drain flange and strainer have lost most of their plating. But the strainer has a very unique design that I've never seen before(very Deco) The waste shoe has some dings on it from removal, but it is not cracked or distorted(pic 12) The overflow cover plate houses the lever. And both are fairly scratched/scuffed from years of cleaning. The lever itself does have some dings and there is one small gouge on the overflow cover plate(pics 4-8) The action on the lever is nice and smooth, there looks to be a spring-loaded pin that runs against a guide to give it a little ... morebit of drag. It just feels well-made! The set will be broken down into components for shipment. There are no rubber gaskets included. And I would also recommend replacing the packing at all of the compression joints. Antique Vintage American Standard Tub Faucet with Spout 1920's
Here is a nice old'Standar d' tub valve and spout. This was removed from a 19 20's-era home. The handles appear to be replacements(probably 1940's or so) The ori ginals would have been porcelain cross-handle pieces. The spout has a porcelain escutcheon and a trim ring with set screw that keeps it tight to the wall. The finish on the spout. And original trim are more like a nickel color, while the finish on the handles is more like a bright chrome. All of the porcelain pieces are in excellent shape with no chips or cracks. There are a few small spots of discoloration but overall they are very nice. The handles have scratched/gouged caps. But they are fairly clean with good shine. They are cast zinc. Both stems open and close freely. The stems and escutcheon ferrules are slightly scuffed with spots of missing plating, see photos ... morefor condition. The spout has mis sing plating all over. As well as some gouges and scratches here and there. The brass nipple will remain in the spout. I' ll leave the choice of removing it up to yo u. All of the shiny bits on this faucet would benefit from a re-plate. But you could certainly use as is if you don't mind lots of patina! The original cast iron mou nting bracket i s included. The set will be broken down into components for shipment. Only a few small hairline cracks on the back next to the nickel plated brass mount, the nickel plating is in great condition also. The Lettering on the handles is excellant. The handles are 3 1/4" across and stand 2" tall. The inside of the mounts are 3/8" square with a tapered hole for a set screw in the shaft. I also have another set of Hot/cold only matching knobs in another auction.
