Vintage Bentley& Simon gown. This piece is in good condition. I have shown in last picture that the velvet that runs down each side.the bottom on one of the ends stitching has come loose. It just needs to be stiched back into place. Some areas around cuffs etc. just show slight wear from the age of the robe. Great gown. Starting it at much lower than other have on here. Initials are on label. Size one size fits most, very generous. I tried this on with a jacket under and it was still roomy.and I am not a small person. This listing is offering a big mens' vest from the House of Hansen in Chicago. Illinois who have been serving the clergy for over 75 years with custom tailored religious garments. There is no size label, but I will provide the measurements with the garment lying flat. This vest is for a large sized man. The chest measurement is 29 inches across. The back of the piece measures 26 inches long from the top of the neck to the bottom hem. The front of the vest measures 28.5 inches long from the top of the neck collar to the point in the bottom of the vest. The back shoulder to shoulder measurement is approximately 16-1/4 inches. The neck appears that it would accommodate at least a 20 inch neck. This vest is numbered 354 from the year 2000. This vest has 12 buttons down the front. Note: this vest is in a true genuine black. Clergy Stole - Blue
This is a blue"gothic" style pastor stole in like new condition. It measures 45" from the seam at the neck to the end of the fringe. The fringe itself being 3" long. The taper of the stole goes from 1 3/4" at the neck seam to 4 7/8" at the bottom. The front material is tudor rose damask; the back is plain. Though the material is not indicated anywhere on the vestment. It is, to the best of my knowledge, satin. The stole was made in the USA by Abbott Hall Paraments. It features an embroidered"natal" or"Bethlehem" star on each side of the stole: This was used regularly(Sundays and Wednesdays during Advent) for about three years. Then very infrequently for another three. It is without signs of wear- no fraying, loose stitching, staining, or discoloration. I took care to treat this stole well, ... moreso it truly is like new. Also the pictures show it to be whiter than it really is, it is actually a light cream color.
