This auction is for a Lovely Antique Pitcher and Wash Bowl Set made in Belgium by Keramis. It is Beautifully designed with images of a long tailed and colorful bird amid pink and yellow and green flowers against a cream colored background. The pitcher is in very good condition. Especially for its age. There are no chips or cracks or repairs. There is a very slight and hard-to-see firing line in the lower part of the handle(see photo 10) It is not a hairline and doesn't go through and it appears to be under the glaze and made in the manufacturing process. The images and the colors clear and bright. The bowl has a crack down one side(see last two photos) and wear of the gold accent paint along it rim. Even so. They were purchased in the UK. ~~~~ This is a nice matched set that has been well-cared for and is in remarkable shape. Both pieces show signs of use and age but given they are a hundred years old. Wouldn’t you too? Please look at the pictures for more detail of the flaws. ~~~~ The pitcher measures approximately 13.5” tall and 10” handle to spout. Antique Pitcher & Bowl Set Pitcher is a Nautilus Shell Design
Antique pitcher and bowl set. Pitcher is in the form of a nautilus shell with sponged on 22k gold accents. Coral branch handle with seaweed designs in relief. No makers mark but it does have a registration number. Oval shaped basin is 6 1/2 inches deep x 17 1/2 long. The pitcher is 13 inches high x 11 wide. Most unusual set I have seen in 30 years of this business and it is of museum quality. Probably a European turn of the last century export made for one of the commercial fishing villages along the east coast. Set is clean with no chips. Nicks, flakes or cracks.

One of the most beautiful patterns and colors I have ever seen. It is in excellent condition. No cracks or chips to mar its beauty. The large pitcher is approx. 11.5" tall and 8" at its widest point. The small pitcher is about 4.5" tall and about over 4.5" at its widest point. The colors are lovely. The lily of the valley flowers have a hint of blue around them. The large pitcher especially has some weight to it and since I see no crazing. I am guessing they are stoneware. These pitchers are trimmed in gold.I'm guessing 22k from the color. There are some color variances which you can see on the bottom of the large pitcher(almost like ... morea finger print) and some lighter spots on the brown colors too. Striking 5-Piece Sky Blue Victorian Porcelain Wash Bowl & Pitcher Set France
This auction is for a Fabulous Victorian 5-Piece Wash Bowl and Pitcher Set. The set Displays Wonderfully. It will add a burst of color and will instantly become the focal point of any room. Each piece is marked"France" on the bottom. I am not certain of the maker but by the form and feel and style the set is clearly Victorian and likely dates to the late 1800s. The set is decorated with a beautiful sky blue color against a white porcelain and gold edging. The pieces are molded with a relief leaf and scroll designs. The set consists of a large pitcher(11 inches tall) A large bowl(16 inches across) a smaller pitcher(7 inches tall) a soap dish and a cup. The set is in very good condition. Especially for its age. There are no chips in any of the pieces. With the exception of a small hairline in the edge of the cup(see last photo) The ... moreset is also free of any cracks. Up for your consideration is a beautiful FLOW BLUE pitcher and bowl set made by J& G Meakin. Hanley, England. This set is in the Moderna Pattern which was produced by them from 1903-1911, making this piece over 100 years old. The pitcher measures 11 inches tall by 11 1/2 inches across. The bowl measures 17 1/2 inches across by 5 1/4 inches deep. Condition is excellent for a piece of this age. There are no repairs, chips or cracks. The piece is very clean and was very gently used. There are several small glaze pops that can be seen in the photo's and a small rough spot on the bowl rim which can be seen in photo 3. There is a barely visible surface scratch on the pitcher, but I couldn't get a photo of it. It does not go through and can barely be noticed. Vintage White Water Wash Basin Set Pitcher and Bowl
Pitcher and bowl are in great shape see pictures. The only flaw to mention is some very faint crazing which i tried to picture but it is so faint it wouldn't show up in the photos this is not noticeable unless your really up close and catch it in the right lighting it is very minor When you display it. Huge & Heavy Vintage Victorian Style IRONSTONE Water Pitcher & Bowl Basin Set
Hi. I have up for auction a beautiful vintage Ironstone, Victorian style Water Pitcher and Bowl Basin Set. It has been in my family for a very long time. I can remember my Grandmother having it set on a washstand. It is a very large and heavy Ironstone set. It is old and has been used, passed down and it does have flaws, and wear. It has 1 fairly large chip on the edge of the bowl. It has several small flake size chips on the top edge of bowl. It has small flake chips on the edge of pitcher. It has a few bubbles formed from the glazing. It is unmarked. It has no cracks that I can see. It has lovely roses and floral decor on the front and back with colors of brown, tan, and off-white. The set is c1900 Porcelain from the Boch company. This is pre Villeroy and Boch. See below for Wikipedia insert about the company. There is a chip on the underside of the lid to the Toothbrush holder. England during the early to mid 1800s. The wash bowl and pitcher have large floral sprays with a printed geometric and floral background in brown transfer print. I do not know the exact name or manufacturer of this set, but it reminds of the patterns Minton produced in the early 1800s. Neither piece is marked. The bowl is scalloped and measures approximately 13" in diameter and stands about 4 1/2" tall. The pitcher stands approximately 10 5/8" tall and it has a nice sculpted handle with a squat paneled form. Item Condition: The overall condition of the set is excellent. This auction is for a Lovely 6-Piece Antique Victorian Semi-Porcelain Pitcher and Washbowl Chamber set made by Dresden Pottery Works of Ohio in the late 1800s or early 1900s. The set is Beautifully designed with a molded or raised floral design and is painted in a soft sky blue with gold accents against a white semi-porcelain background. The set Displays Wonderfully with its pastel colors and will instantly become the decorative focal point of any room. The set consists of: A Wash Bowl or Basin. 15 1/2 inches across. A Large Pitcher. 11 inches tall. A Matching Smaller Pitcher. 7 1/2 inches tall. A covered soap dish. A handled cup. A Vase or toothbrush holder. Each piece has the Dresden globe mark. MUST SEE Art Nouveau Deco Wilkinson Staffordshire Chamber Set Wash Basin Pitcher POPPIES Pre Cliff click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge Description Simply spectacular c. 1900-1925 Wilkinson Royal Staffordshire very large wash bash basin and pitcher with stylized poppies. Marked as shown in photos on base with the Wilkinson crown mark used post 1896 and before the switch to the the Clarice Cliff marks in the late 1920s. The design outline is transfer and then they are beautifully hand painted. The Basin measures about 16 1/4" in diameter and about 5 1/2" tall. CONDITION: Fine crazing throughout. Minor irregularities along the top rim. A small blemish near the bottom as shown in photo. The Pitcher measures about 12" tall and about 9" wide with handle. CONDITION: Some light very hard to see crazing; can see it ... moreon underside of base. There is a tiny nick in the body with a very faint hairline(about 1" or so on exterior) You can see it more on the inside. All in all. In fine shape. None of these very minor issues affects the appearance of the piece. It presents beautifully in real life! PLEASE SEE ALL THE PHOTOS BELOW. There was a gradually transition at Wilkinson from the more traditional Victorian motifs of the late 1900s to the bold Art Deco designs of Clarice Cliff of the 1930s. It is interesting to note that Clarice Cliff came to Wilkinson in 1916 when she was only 17 years old. Her interesting drawings brought her to the attention of the owner of Wilkinson and he let her experiment on some old stock blanks. By 1927. She was off studying in London and Paris. She then returned to Wilkinson and by 1929, her designs went into full production and the Wilkinson marks were changed to include her name. 19th Century English Staffordshire Drabware Pitcher & Mugs Set c1840
You are bidding on a 19th C. English Drabware Pitcher and Mugs set. Circa 1840 Staffordshire. Set includes a pitcher and 4 mugs as shown. The set is extraordinarily good condition. Bright polychromed flowers adorn each piece on 2 sides. The modeling is very well executed to enhance the overall appearance. The mugs are in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or crazing. Do to each piece being handmade their size varies in height from 3 inches to 3 3/16 inches. Rim to handle tip is about 4 1/4 inches wide. The pitcher is in excellent condition with 2 very minor flakes on the bottom rim. All others on bottom are under glaze. It measures 5 1/2 inches tall and 7 inches wide at widest point.
