Antique Copper Luster Pitcher BLUE BAND FLORAL LATE 1800'S EARLY 1900'S
Hi. this pitcher stands 5.25" tall and is about 6.25" across. Needless to say-over the years it has lost some of it's lustre! There are places that the shine is gone but for as old as it is- I thought it was in pretty good condition. Until I looked at the bottom. It has been repaired. The bottom is not the original but has been covered in clay. I would say by the looks of the repair that it was broken when it wasn't very old. Anyway-it is still a nice piece and I am not going to throw history away. Thank you for looking and please look at the pictures carefully before bidding. Happy Bidding!

Antique 2 pc Set Copper Cobalt Blue Lustreware Pitchers Late 1800's Presented is a fabulous 2 piece set of a pair of small copper lustreware pitchers from the late 1800's. There is no maker's mark on either. Although the larger pitcher has 477 written on the base. These both are decorated in a dazzling motif of brilliant copper colored luster and warm cobalt blue. The small pitcher is also decorated with copper leaves or flowers. The larger pitcher has a raised and enameled scene of what appears to be a man and woman having a picnic. Although the two don't appear to be the same pattern. Their coloring is very similar, and they do work well next to one another. Both are in fantastic condition. There is some very minor wear on the lustered portion. As would be expected, but there are no chips, no cracks and no problems whatsoever. ... moreThe mark above the two figures in the larger pitcher in the second photo is some stray copper lustre from the manufacturing process. Beautifully Flowered Victorian "Biltmore" Wash Basin and Pitcher (late 1800's)!
I do not know very much about antique items. But this is a really lovely Wash Basin and Pitcher, which has no chips or cracks. The name on the bottom is"Biltmore. I could not find anything about the company, except that it was creating items like this in the late 1800's and early 1900's-during the Victorian Era. Both the basin and pitcher appear to have minor wear for items this old, but you could certainly imagine this beautiful Basin and Pitcher sitting in a Victorian washstand in someone's Victorian bedroom! The base color is a creamy white with lovely shades of purple. Pink and green in the delicate flowers and leaves. There is gold paint or leaf? around the edges of the basin, the pitcher and along the handle. Of course due to the age of these items, the gold is worn off in certain areas, but this does not deter from ... morethe lovliness of these items. I've also tried to show some slight marks on the inside bottom of the basin, but they do not show up very well in the picture. They do not take away from the beauty of the piece though. I did not even attempt to remove them, thinking that someone with more expertice might know exactly what to do for this. We hope that you LOVE the pieces. But will refund your money if you are unhappy with the items and contact me within 3 days, that you do not want them. They must be back to me within 14 days to receive your refund though. We do not pay for the shipping to do so, or refund the original shipping amount. HAPPY BIDDING! lm3vhp.RcmdId ViewItemDescV4,RlogId p4%60bo7%60jtb9%3Fuk%601d72f%2Bjw%60%3Elm3vhp-14472c89047-0xf6-

Ornate Pink Pitcherl w/ Magnolias Gold Trim Enamel Paint Late 1800's European
This is one of two pieces we have listed in this stunningly beautiful pattern. This auction is for a pitcher. It is 7 1/2" high. It is decorated with large flowers that we believe to be magnolias. There is gold trim around the edges. There is also gold enamel paint on the outline of the pattern. It can be felt with one's finger. Also. There is a"ruffled" or"gathered" effect at the bottom of the outside of the pitcher, right above the base. This can be seen in the fourth photo. This is very unusual and something we have not seen before. It adds to the beauty of the pitcher. There are no marks on the piece. We believe it to be European. Possibly English and dates to the middle to late 1800's. We are basing this on our combined knowledge of pottery and porcelain but we are not absolutely positive. We posted this ... moreon eBay's39;s Pottery, Glass and Porcelain Board and they were unable to help. This is unusual for these experts! The condition is quite good. There is one area near the spout that appears to have a flake but it is glazed over so it is considered a factory flaw. It is hard to see. However. There are no chips or cracks. Some of the gold trim is missing but nothing major. Be sure to click on the photos to see more clearly. The bottom is unmarked. The second piece we have is a matching bowl. The last picture shows the two together. They are NOT a wash set. The proportions are all wrong. However. They do look nice together. We have always worked with our buyers to have a successful conclusion to every auction and will continue to make every effort to see that you are satisfied. Please email us with any questions about this item. Payment or shipping terms. Payment within 4 days is expected on all auction style listings. Payment due immediately on BIN listings. ANTIQUE FLORAL PITCHER::M & S IRONSTONE CHINA::c. Late 1800-Early 1900's
Collectibles For Sale Antique Ironstone Wide Mouth Pitcher Vintage Ironstone Pitcher by M& S China. Approximately late 1800's to early 1900's by the markings and note that was inside. The pitcher has what looks like a hand painted floral arrangement and dark pink around the top and a crackle glazed finish. There is one very small chip on the outer edge of the lip. I cannot tell if the crack that shows near the spout is age or from manufacture. But the pitcher does not leak. The light beige to darker beige on outside is the natural coloring from manufacture. Three references were found for the M& S initials on this piece. 1. Maddock& Seddon who operated in Burslem. Staffordshire. c.1839-42. 2. Mayer& Sherratt who operated in Longton. c. 1906-41 3. C. Antique "Alba China" Water Pitcher with two matching pieces! Late 1800's!
Beautiful"Alba China" water pitcher with two other matching pieces! They are white with finely detailed butterflies. Leaves, and berries, along with gold streaks! Stunning! The bottom of the pitcher has the pottery mark of a globe with a sword going through it, and the words"Bona Fama Est" above, and"Melior Zona Aurea" beneath. This is Latin for" A good reputation is better than a golden belt" The word"Alba" means white in Latin. The marking is hard to see, but with hours of research, I found out exactly what it was. This symbol was used by the Edwin Bennett Pottery Co. after 1890. It was used on semi-porcelain ware. Alba China was in business in Baltimore Maryland from 1846-1936. This set is absolutely stunning!
