Up for bid is a very fine Regency period English bone china cream pitcher. Circa 1830. The pitcher is 6 inches long by 4 inches wide and stands 4 1/4 inches tall at the top of the handle. It has a nicely scrolled leafy handle and stand on three scroll feet. It bears a decorator’s mark of“615/ X” as shown. Condition on the pitcher is quite good. There are some minor scratches and wear to the decoration. But not much. There is an original firing flaw on the base near one foot, but no later chips, cracks or repairs. Very OLD Vintage Milk Cream Pitcher Hand Painted 13" High
This is a very old milk pitcher. I have had it in my china closet for years, and have had many compliments. I believe this was a hand painted piece done by Victorian ladies, as we would now do ceramics. The porcelain is paper thin, with no chips or cracks, there is an under glaze small dent, which is hardly noticeable, see photos. The pitcher measures 6" high by 5" across bottom. Unmarked as many were of the early period, with light sign of wear and two very small nicks on the rim( impossible to photo so do not ask for additional pix.there are NONE) The work is otherwise in good condition and measure 4.25 inches high 5 inches wide from spout to handle and 1.5 inches deep. Basaltes ware. Also called Black Basaltes, basaltes also spelled Basalt, hard black vitreous stone ware, named after the volcanic rock basalt and manufactured by Joshiah Wedgwood at Etruria, Staffordshire, Eng. from about 1768. Wedgwood black basaltes ware was an improvement on the stained earthenware known as“Egyptian black” made by other Stafford shire potters. This is a delightful size. Just 5-1/2' high. A fine looking small size antique cream pitcher with high relief decoration of two figures. A mother and child on one side of the pitcher. This charming pattern of the molded figures of the mother and child is often found in a larger size, typically 8" high or larger. Unusual to find this delightful small size cream pitcher. The lustre is still bright and beautiful. A deep coppery coloring and quite reflective so it is difficult to see the relief work. Holding it in your own hands you can both see and feel the lovely molded designs and painted leaf decoration to the jug. It's unmarked(probably Deruta) and without chips, hairline cracks or other flaws. The creamer measures 2-3/4" height with a base diameter of 2-1/2" and top diameter of 5" from spout tip to just above handle. Both the top and bottom edges are scalloped. The bottom has a number 215. If I remember correctly. I purchased the pitcher in Europe. The next 2 items are candle holders both having existing candles. They are also a Victorian theme with cherubs on all three sides. They are 3 footed porcelain candle holders. There are no marking on the bottom. One of the candle holders has a broken edge on the rim(darker colored one) See picture! Because both rims have scallops it's not that noticeable. Other than that they are in good condition. Antique F W Levy Imperial Limoges Cream Pitcher Circa 1920
This is a beautiful Limoges creamer made by the F W Levy Imperial Company. My research says that the F W Levy Company was in business from 1915 to 1920 in Limoges. France. The pitcher is in a very nice. Unknown pink rose pattern that is very similar to Haviland’s“Baltimore Rose” pattern. It is 5 ½” tall and 3 ½” in diameter at the base. It weighs 8.3 oz. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Even the gold trim on the handle show little if any wear. There is one dark speck on the side from manufacturing. As with any antique piece. You will see a few dimples or wrinkles in the porcelain that occurred during the manufacturing process. The Maker’s Mark on the bottom is very clear. This is an antique off-white glazed cream pitcher. It has no markings but it is evident that it has some age. It stands 5 1/4" high and is 5" wide. There are spider lines in the glaze and it has a few age spots. But there are no cracks or chips. This is a great old piece.

Waco, China This vase& pitcher are very old. Probably from the 1930's- 1940's. The pitcher does have a chip off the top lip. It does have a fine crack on the outside. But it does not seem to go all the way through. The pitcher measurements are: 8" tall(at its peak) opening is 4"x5" and the circumference is 18" at it's widest point. The vase is very pretty also, and it doesn't have any chips. But, it does have a brown stain. I don't know what this was originally used as- possibly a vase, or maybe a toothbrush holder. Maddock's Lamberton Works Royal Porcelain This is definitely an old piece. But I am not exactly sure what it is! It has a handle like a creamer, however, it does not have a definite spout. I know this company made"toilet ware" in addition to table ware, so I am wondering if it could possibly be part of a wash set(chamber pot, bowl and pitcher, shaving mug, soap dish, slop jar, etc. Maybe it is a vintage toothbrush holder! It is 3 1/2" high and 4 1/2" wide. The top edge and the base are both scalloped. This has the Maddock's Lamberton Works logo and name on the bottom. I understand this mark dates this piece to about 1904. The Lamberton Works first opened in 1869 by three local Quaker businessmen in the Lamberton section of Trenton. NJ. Ribs outline each panel. Flowers and striping are adorned with the luster. Potentially an important artifact of an early time. Fluting curves into pedestal foot. Creating a circular flat panel for each building. The flat-iron style handle has a small old chip. Which is browned with age and does not detract from this beauty.
