TRAVEL CHALICE & PATEN SET CATHOLIC CLERGY
Simple travel-sized silver colored chalice and paten set. The chalice and paten are likely stainless steel. The outside of the cup is a mirrored finish and the inside of the cup and the stem is a brushed finish. The paten is a brushed finish on both sides. Both chalice and paten come with brown. Lint-free protective cloths. The chalice is 6 inches high. The rim of the cup is 3.75 inches in diameter, the cup is 2.75 inches deep and holds 8 oz. The base of the stem is 3 inches in diameter. Gammarelli Surplice Vestment for Catholic Clergy This surplice was made by the Italian vestment maker Ditta Gammarelli in Rome. It has a Roman square cut neckline and two bands of lace around each sleeve and bottom hem. Above the two beads of lace on the bottom hem are three embroidered crossed on the front and back as can be seen in the third photo. The size of this surplice is comparable to XL. The measurements are approximately. 42" from shoulder to hemline and 23" from shoulder seam to cuff. There are a total of 12 pleats; 6 on the front and 6 on the back. This is the most beautiful set I have listed. In my opinion, and is in very good condition for being what seems to be very old. The sale includes all seen in the photo's, the stole, the veil and maniple. They show signs of some wear but all are very clean and have no spills or stain on them that I can find. The felt appliques seem to sag from years of hanging possibly. This set has a lot of sparkle left in it and glitters more than my pictures may show and have the same beautiful silk lining. All the gold appliques are the same shade of gold and I think pertain. Two of the pieces have a red silk lining and the other two have gold silk. Antique Gold Roman Chasuble Fiddleback Vestment for Catholic Priest, Clergy
Gold Colored Roman Chasuble/Fiddleback Vestment for Low Mass This beautiful Chasuble is in very good antique condition. It has been recently refurbished and can once again be employed for Divine Worship. This particular vestment was originally made in France and is very substantial and heavy. Although I am not certain of the material. It reminds me of cloth of gold and feels almost metallic. The Chasuble. Maniple, and stole have been completely relined with red satin fabric. There are no rips or tears in the shell of the chasuble although there is some faint spots of mild discoloration. The chalice veil and burse were constructed from a dalmatic that was beyond repair, which is why there is a unique pattern formed with the galloons. I should note that the burse cannot be opened. All pains have been taken to salvage the beautiful lamb on the ... moreback of the vestment. Some of the metal parts of the lamb's legs were lost to time and have been replaced with thread. New longer strings were added to the inside front of the chasuble that help to secure the vestment to the waist of the priest. This set includes: Chasuble. Stole, Maniple, Burse, Chalice Veil. The dimensions of the chasuble is approximately: Back: 39" from shoulder to hem; 25" across. Front: 34.5" from shoulder to hem; 22" across at widest point. It is lined in white satin and has a leather sweatband along the inside. It is in very good to excellent condition. The size of this clerical hat is marked 59. Beautiful Antique Green Chasuble and Stole for Mass This is an antique green chasuble and stole set for the celebration of the Mass. It is in good condition with very little wear. The material is of a kelly green that is much more Roman than the darker forest green color that is often produced today. The back is embroidered with a cross that is composed of flowers with the iconic IHS in the center. The front is a simple pillar composed in the same theme as the back. There are two strings that are used to secure the vestment around the waist of the priest. The matching stole is in very good condition and its adorned with metallic fringe on the bottom. It has a sewn cloth around the neck to absorb any sweat that may damage the material. The only sign of age and wear is found on the front between the embroidered part of the vestment. I left the seminary last year. Help a former seminarian get back on his feet by purchasing some of my clerical clothing and items. This is a CM Almy Roman Year Rounder Cassock. It is size GN. Which is fitted for men 6'1" to 6'2" tall, 34-36 sleeves, 41-43 Chest, 15-1/2 to 16-1/2 Collar, and 34-38" waist. However, it fit me very well and I am only 5'10" with about a 32" waist. I like my cassocks long though. It hung to the tops of my shoes and I had to lift it a little bit going up steps or I could step on the front. It will work for a smaller person such as myself. It has a mandarin collar with 1" opening. A semi-fitted torso with full side and back pleats, a pocket and side opening on both sides, a fully lined torso, and light shoulder padding. This was my house cassock which I wore daily through ... more1st and 2nd Theology. So it has normal wear from two years of use. There are no holes or tears but it is missing a button. There are 18 buttons up the front and the 7th from the bottom is missing. No obvious stains, although there are some inconspicuous spots on the front and sleeves. It is freshly dry cleaned. She had many different stoles and all have been used. Some hand woven, some very plain. I have done my best on pictures and representation. 104" x 5" Warm Blues and Purples woven. Very Nicely Triple gathered at Neck. 6 long purple and blue tassels on each end.excellent. I am not sure of the meaning behind"Soviet American Wool" Perhaps it is a blend meant for peace?
