Description: This auction is for an antique Art Nouveau Lenox hard porcelain flowered sterling overlay pitcher with lid. The Lenox mark on the bottom was first used in 1906. the mark of the silver maker is on the bottom as well. The pitcher is marked sterling on the side under the handle near the bottom. The pitcher measures approximately 7 1/2 inches tall to the top of the lid. The base 4 inches wide, the width from handle to side 5 inches. The pitcher is in good condition for it's age; no repairs. But there are two hairlines, one at the bottom of the handle's right side& another to the left bottom side of the handle. The hairlines are both smooth to the touch. There is one small rough area that looks like some sterling or glue, when you look at the photo#8 you may notice, or not, near the top middle of the flowers. It is not ... morea chip& there is one other area on the handle that appears to be a loss of sterling rather than a chip. There is one small black dot under the handle that appears to have been caused in the making. Just covering all the bases, this is a rare find& a beautiful piece. Presented for your consideration this lovely very interesting unusual yellow ware water pitcher. I have had this pitcher in my collection for many years and try as I might. I could not find another any where. It has the classic aesthetic movement form with its bulbous bottom and flat top. It is embossed with an aesthetic movement decor with its all over design of geometric patterns Asian influences i.e. bamboo, fans and flowers. All on a dark mustard yellow background with gilded highlights. Pitcher measures 7-1/8 inches tall and approximately 6-1/2 inches in diameter at it's widest. The pitcher is unmarked. It is in excellent antique condition, not cracks, chips or repairs, there is a tiny hairline on the inside top rim, that may just be stress line. Ucagco Watering Can with Applied Flowers 6 1/2 in. h(with handle) x 3 in. w(without handle and spout) x 6 1/2 in. w(with handle and spout) 12 oz. This beautiful pitcher is in excellent condition and is reminiscent of an old Meissen or Dresden piece. The craftsmanship is beautiful. But not quite as precise as those makers can be- see how the holes in the spout weren't completely finished in photo 3. It is in excellent condition! I have examined each flower numerous times and I found a small chip on the front of a purple flower(on the back of the pitcher, picture 7) I also found a similar but smaller chip on the back of a leaf that is located on the spout. I have cleaned this but it could use more precise cleaning, mainly on the inside. The pitcher is a little off white and seems to have a light brownish wash on it. Antique Vintage Warwick Pitcher 1 Quart 9.5 Inch 10GA Brown Flowers Both Sides
This pitcher came from an auction in Vermont. It is marked 10GA Warwick on the bottom. Warwick was out of Wheeling. West Virginia from 1887 through 1951. The pitcher has the brown shading background with light flowers on each side. It measures 9 1/2" high to the top of the spout. 6 1/2" from the handle to the tip of the spout, and about 5" in diameter at the widest point. It has some wear, see all pictures. There is a chip on the handle, see the 10th pictures, and a couple of surface chips/wear, see the 5th and 11th picture. The pitcher holds 4 cups when full. There is crackling in the glaze.

It is decorated with rose colored florals on the front and blue flowers on the back. Green and crimson leaves with gold edging. It thick gold on the rim. Base, neck ring and handle. The ewer is incised 7551 and 69. It has a red crown stamp with R& H and Made in Austria. It is in excellent antique condition.

I have for you this evening a beautiful porcelain pitcher or ewer by the Austrian porcelain manufacturer and design studios of Robert Hanke in Bohemia. This lovely pitcher is in the Nouveau style and made of nice quality porcelain with a blush glaze that was all the rage in Europe at the time. The vase has been hand painted with stylized flowers with orange accent color and trimmed in raised gold slip work. The piece is dusted with gold on the face and the reverse and the base and rim are gilded as well as having a heavily gilded handle. The mold shape is pleasing to the eye and the handle is very tactile along with some scroll work at the neck. When all the elements are combined this becomes a very desirable piece by this maker and would make a great addition to your collection. Antique Ceramic Transferware Pitcher Creamer HandPainted Flowers 1880-1900?
Very nice Antique Ceramic Porcelain Pitcher or Large Creamer Transferware Floral design(apple blossoms? that has also be handpainted to color the flowers Gold paint trim around the neck. On the handle, and also around the top rim. Some of the gold paint has worn off on the top rim and also the top of the handle. There is a rough area on the top rim where the gold paint is worn but I do not think it is a chip but rather where the paint has gathered. There are 4 tiny black dots that are in the china from the original firing. Two on the outside and two on the inside. I would date this about 1880-1910? but that is just a guess It is marked with a red"S" in a red diamond shape and the numbers"1446 and 54" in red on the bottom. I could not identify the maker. Antique Davenport Pitcher This beautiful pitcher is in excellent condition. no chips. Cracks or repairs. It was made by Davenport in Staffordshire England between 1815 and 1830(age determined by research on the Hallmark on the bottom of the pitcher) The pitcher is white with gold trim and also has baskets of pink flowers. Vines, and what appears to be flaming torches. It measures 6" to the top of the handle and 5" from the front of the spout to the back of the handle. The base is 2.5" round.

Antique Ernst Wahliss Art Nouveau small pitcher signed Kittel Girl with flowers
This charming pitcher is hand painted with a girl holding a bouquet of flowers. The spout of the pitcher has a grotesque face with ram horns. The pitcher is 6 ¼ inches high to the top of the handle. It is maroon in color with the hand painted scene and gilding. The pitcher was made by Ernst Wahliss of Austria. The scene of the girl is signed Kittel. The bottom has written in red ink Madchen mit Blumen. Which translates to girl with flowers. It is marked on the bottom with the EW mark that dates it to between 1897 and 1906. It also has an impressed 3, 20, and 5728. The pitcher is in excellent condition with the only flaw being a slight hairline on the bottom. It does not appear to go through to the inside.

PALE BROWN STAFFORDHIRE PITCHER w FLOWERS& SWAN'S NECK HANDLE. C. 1850-70 This is a pale brown glaze pottery pitcher with polychrome floral raised decoration on each side and a beautiful swan's neck handle. Circa 1850 to 1870, or so, and probably from the Staffordshire, England area. Pitcher is 6 3/4" high with a 4" diameter base, and it is in excellent, original condition with no damage and no restoration. It retains a high luster surface glaze, and the pitcher was formed in a 2-part mold typical of manufacture in this period. This pitcher is a very unusual color, which I have never seen before. This is part of an old New England collection formed over decades. You are bidding on a antique Ironstone Flow blue pitcher. Both pieces are in excellent shape. No serious chips or cracks I could find. Just little chip in a bowl bottom(see picture) Set don't have any stamps on a bottoms just number 5 carved on bowl bottom. Long time ago I got them from old couple. And they told me that this is very old set, that all I know. The pitcher is about 12 inches tall and 9 inches in diameter. The bowl is about 5 inches tall and 15.5 inches in diameter.
