An unusual antique American Victorian hardwood barber's shaving stand circa 1900. The stand has a pair of turned supports with an adjustable octagon mirror. Below is a pair of candle sconces that can be moved from side to side. The stand has a vintage pitcher& bowl set, to each side is a towel rail. The stand has four'barley twist' legs, to the base is a second tier that holds a chamber pot. The stand is in great condition, size is 53" tall x 22" wide x 18" deep. VINTAGE WATER PITCHER& WASH BASIN This is a Beautiful Vintage Water Pitcher and Wash Basin in a beautiful White and Pink design with the raised Geese on both sides of the pitcher. The pitcher and basin are both in extremely good condition with there being no cracks. Chips, or repairs. There is however very minor crazing around the bottom of the pitcher and around the edges of the basin which can only be seen on close examination under very good lighting. The Pitcher is approximately 12" inches tall, and the Basin is 15 3/4" inches in diameter.

This is a vintage china chamber basin and jug in a lovely flow blue design. Then trimmed in gold. Pink flower decorate both sides of the pitcher. The bowl is especially lovely with its raised design and gentle shading. It is hallmarked"RS Prussia" on the bottom of the pitcher, there is no hallmark on the bowl. Both the large bowl and the pitcher are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Just a small bit of crazing. The pitcher measures about 11" high. The bowl is 16" in diameter x 4-1/2" high. A beautiful ceramic pitcher and basin made in Woodbine Maryland by Vi's ceramics. This is a show piece and a very unique collectable. It is brown and white with daffodil motif. It measures 8" total height. This is a very large antique Johnson Brothers Ironstone/Semi Porcelain Washbasin and Pitcher. The bowl measures 17 1/4 across and 4 1/2 inches high. The pitcher measures 9 inches across and 11 1/2 inches high. The tag on the bottom(as purchased) says circa 1890-1915. It is in very good antique condition with no cracks or chips on the pitcher and mild crazing consistent with age. The washbasin has no cracks but a tiny flea bite on the underside which is not visible from above. There are some scratches on the bottom of the bowl where the pitcher sits but again consistent with age. Considering this is around 100 years old it is in very good condition. Lovely. Vintage wash basin and pitcher set was bought and stored in the attic for 20 years and never used according to its owner. This set from Cronin of Fredericksburg would make a great addition to a country cottage or turn-of-the-previous century decor. The pitcher is gilded around its mouth and has embossed(raised) scroll work designs in the porcelain and has 3 clusters of pink and purple flowers around it's outerside. One under its lip and two inside the lip, yet visible. Hi. I have up for auction a beautiful vintage Ironstone, Victorian style Water Pitcher and Bowl Basin Set. It has been in my family for a very long time. I can remember my Grandmother having it set on a washstand. It is a very large and heavy Ironstone set. It is old and has been used, passed down and it does have flaws, and wear. It has 1 fairly large chip on the edge of the bowl. It has several small flake size chips on the top edge of bowl. It has small flake chips on the edge of pitcher. It has a few bubbles formed from the glazing. It is unmarked. It has no cracks that I can see. It has lovely roses and floral decor on the front and back with colors of brown, tan, and off-white. Pitcher (Water) and Wash Basin bowl, English, Vintage, Falcon Ware, large
Vintage Pitcher and Wash Basin(could be from early 1900's) FALCON WARE. Made in England. Condition is excellent; value in set. Pitcher is 11.5 inches high to the highest point of spout. Bowl has 16.5 inch diameter which includes 1 1/4' lip all around. To my knowledge it has not been broken or repaired. I can not guarantee but I seen no evidence otherwise. The top glaze has fine lines in it as I'd expect from old porcelain. Inside the pitcher on its' floor one can feel some roughness about 1/2" ound. The pattern is captivating. See photo of cottage. The English cottage is repeated in various spots alternating with a flower bouquet. The pitcher on the bottom is engraved with MADE IN ENGLAND it is stamped with the same stamp on the bottom of the bowl where it is legible. The handwritten numbers on the pitcher base are 4 ... more8 5 0. and a handwritten floating"16" The bowl stamp is quite legible with FALCON WARE ENGLAND And a cursive capital LG intertwined. Looks like what is on the bottom of the pitcher but fainter and partially there on the pitcher. The gold trim seems very intact. Normal wear but actually less than normal wear to me. I see a touch worn off the handle but it's charming as I'd expect it there. The bowl also has the floating 16(or is it 10? Background color best described as Creamy. This set is charming. Wonderful decorative piece. Not too fragile, large for a statement, and a pattern that could go in most informal spots. I used this in a very contemporary home! One mug has some slight crazing due to age but that is all. The pitcher and one mug have the crown with S.Ford& Co. England hallmark, the rest are unmarked. This is a wonderful. Large ironstone water pitcher and wash basin featuring a lace and floral transfer pattern with embossed bow. The matching set is in great condition with no apparent glaze crazing, cracks or chips. The pitcher with embossed bow measures about 11" high and is about 10" wide at the widest point. The bottom is marked"Lace" and"S F& Co. The matching bowl with embossed bow measures about 15" in diameter and about 5" high and is marked"Lace" and"S F& Co" B" Only blemishes appear to be transfer errors under the glaze during the manufacturing process. MUST SEE Art Nouveau Deco Wilkinson Staffordshire Chamber Set Wash Basin Pitcher POPPIES Pre Cliff click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge Description Simply spectacular c. 1900-1925 Wilkinson Royal Staffordshire very large wash bash basin and pitcher with stylized poppies. Marked as shown in photos on base with the Wilkinson crown mark used post 1896 and before the switch to the the Clarice Cliff marks in the late 1920s. The design outline is transfer and then they are beautifully hand painted. The Basin measures about 16 1/4" in diameter and about 5 1/2" tall. CONDITION: Fine crazing throughout. Minor irregularities along the top rim. A small blemish near the bottom as shown in photo. The Pitcher measures about 12" tall and about 9" wide with handle. CONDITION: Some light very hard to see crazing; can see it ... moreon underside of base. There is a tiny nick in the body with a very faint hairline(about 1" or so on exterior) You can see it more on the inside. All in all. In fine shape. None of these very minor issues affects the appearance of the piece. It presents beautifully in real life! PLEASE SEE ALL THE PHOTOS BELOW. There was a gradually transition at Wilkinson from the more traditional Victorian motifs of the late 1900s to the bold Art Deco designs of Clarice Cliff of the 1930s. It is interesting to note that Clarice Cliff came to Wilkinson in 1916 when she was only 17 years old. Her interesting drawings brought her to the attention of the owner of Wilkinson and he let her experiment on some old stock blanks. By 1927. She was off studying in London and Paris. She then returned to Wilkinson and by 1929, her designs went into full production and the Wilkinson marks were changed to include her name. Some of her designs, like Firs, are known for their'stylized glimpses of the natural world' These poppies, with their deco style stems, are likely a precursor of the designs to come.
