It looks like someone cleaned it up and glued it up previously and it is all tight and sturdy. It looks like they cleaned up the dark walnut stain finish as well. It has a shapely turtle top frame, floral carvings on the corner legs and skirts, cabriole legs, platform base, and a cup center finial that holds the legs together. Condition: Used Location: Fairfield, United States This antique marble top parlor table features a carved fruit basket it is constructed of solid, black walnut, and has a turtle top white and gray marble ... moretop. This parlor stand features the typical shapely legs, carved frame, but what makes this table special is the carved basket of fruit in the middle of the bottom shelf. Sometimes you see these with a dog carved in them, but this is unique with the fruit basket. This table was really dry when we brought it in, it has been sanded down, over-stained it, and then re-lacquered it to bring out the gorgeous luster of the walnut from the Victorian era of the 1880s. The marble is in really nice shape! It has an OG, beveled edge, and just a couple of tiny little nicks, that we are only mentioning because we like to be thorough.

for sale is a great contoured skirted pieced carved walnut marble turtle top table. near mint condition with no repairs or missing parts or pieces that i can see. there are a very few very minor scuff marks on the legs. for sale a great antique walnut center or parlor table att. thomas brooks. thick. Solid, and heavy construction as expected from brooks. it has the original insert marble top and the frame around it. some call these picture frame tables. the table has great form and beauty with buttons, medallions, carvings over the entire piece. the central pedestal pegs into the top support board with 4 pegs and then is bolted. the fours legs sit on their original brass casters. the marble is cut exactly to fit in the frame only one way, if you get it switched you will mess with it for hours and won't get the frame over the marble. the frame then pegs into the skirt and that only happens one way. i will mark the pieces for the new owner so they won't have trouble getting it together. i took it apart to clean it and messed with it for over 30 minutes ... moregetting it back together, so i did not take it apart to take any pictures. i should have done that before i put it back together. anyway, should anyone want additional photos, let me know and i can take it apart if need be. it is a fairly large table and nearly round. it is 36 inches wide, 27.5 inches deep. it sits 30 inches tall. it has great burl accents on the leg panels and skirt. it may be picked up at my home or shipped at the buyer's expense. good luck.

Very beautiful walnut. Marble top parlor table Eastlake style with burl walnut trim. This table is in great shape. There is one little chip in the wood(picture 8) that doesn't show with the top on. The marble is in great condition for it's age, there are a few little dings or small chips and some light scratches. There is also some stain on the bottom side of the marble. This table is 31" tall and 19" x 27" wide. I could putty in the hole and touch it up if you want.

Though I did take a closeup of a dark line you can feel, on one leg, and a closeup of the same leg on other side. As you can see, the line does not go all way through, so I do not know what it is. I am honored to offer this beautiful Victorian Carved Brown Walnut Parlor Center Lamp Table with Oval White Italian Cararra Marble Top. Estimated to have been crafted around 1875. This gorgeous brown walnut table weighs about 80 pounds with the marble top and is approximately 26" deep/front to back. Approximately 35.5" wide/left to right and approximately 30" high/tall. I beleive this table to have the original finish. The detail that went into crafting this table is astonishing. This white. Grey and black veined scrolled beveled edge Italian Cararra marble oval top has it's original finish and is in excellent antique condition with natural occuring tan coloration and character marks normally expected with antique white marble. I particularly like the diagonal viening in the marble which is fairly uniform and straight for ... morea natural formed stone. This table is very similar to another table from another seller here on eBay. But the diagonal viening on this table is much more atractive than the marble viening on the other sellers table. The marble sits very flatly and securely on the detailed carved brown walnut oval shaped table frieze/apron. The table is raised on four X configured lower legs with ring turned spindles and a large ring turned center pedestal and center drop finial. Three of the four swivel casters appear to be original and one appears to be replacement with a brass swivel caster. This circa 1875 table is very well crafted with solid construction and is in excellent antique condtion with only minor wear to the original finish. The stately presence of the large Victorian Walnut Table will make an attractive addition to any room in your house. Victorian Eastlake White Marble Top Walnut Parlor Hall Side Occasional Table
A lovely Victorian walnut white marble top parlor table. Hand carved and very ornate. Wonderful pierced carved legs. Exceptional detail all throughout the base. Beveled edge white marble top is original to the piece. Very heavy wood and well constructed. Overall in great condition for a 125 year old. The marble has two cracks running fairly central along the width. About 6" each in from the sides. Neither crack however shows up on the bottom of the marble, so it is not as bad as it sounds. One leg has a small piece missing, hardly noticeable. Please see all the photos as they are part of the description. The dimensions are 28" W X 20" D X 27 1/2 H. Victorian Renaissance Walnut Picture Frame Marble Top Parlor Lamp Center Table c1875 Being offered for sale is this fine Inserted Picture Frame marble top Victorian Renaissance Revival walnut parlor lamp center table. This grand table features its original inserted marble top. Beautiful carved cartouche on all four sides of the conforming table apron, raised burl walnut accents and four fluted carved legs with the casters intact on the feet, a lovely turned stretcher that features a superb turned urn finial. This fine 19th century table has a beautiful presence and is in wonderful antique condition for its age. The old marble does show some discoloration as common in old marble and there are some chips to the inner area of the walnut frame that rests on the marble top(see last picture)nothing that takes away from the beauty of this table ... morebut wanted to mention them.
