This attachment system seems to be stronger/ sturdier. Also, it allows for the legs to be spread or squeezed slightly when attached to get a thinner or wider appearance. These have all been wire brushed. Rust primered, and sprayed with one coat of black enamel. The result is a nice clean finish. Vintage Antique Dresser Drawer Pulls 3 Set of Large 1 Set Smaller Matching
I thank you for taking time to stop in and having a closer look at my auction item. It was purchased at an estate sale. For your consideration to bid. This is a complete set of drawer pulls. Three pair of larger. And one pair of matching smaller pulls. They are cleaned and do have WD-40 on them. Some of the back screws were a little tight, so the WD loosened them. They are now all finger loose. The larger pulls are 2 3/4 inch long. The round open work back plate is 1 3/4 inch across. The screw is 1 inch long, and it would take a straight tip driver. The center final on the back of the plate is 1/4 inch long, but it is sunk into the plate. On the small ones, the screw length is the same. The length is 2 and 5/16 inches. This is a nice pair of Victorian era oak doors with carved panels and brass pulls. The tops are curved as you can see in the pictures. They measures 3/4" x 16 1/2" wide combined x 15" high. If you wanted to cut them down by removing the curved top they would be 13 1/4" high. There is a veneer chip at the top of one door. This is a set of 4 new replacement wood furniture casters. The units look great and are designed to look like the vintage old wheels. Most of the units are have nice shiny brass. But as shown in the picture some have tarnished areas. The wheels are about 1 5/8" in diameter and the post is 1.5" and the entire unit is around 3.5" I will include 4 mounting units as shown in the picture. Salvaged complete set of keys from an 1880s pump organ with ivory tops.
Here is a complete set of(61) keys salvaged from an old pump organ(1880s) All but 7 of the ivory heads are intact. The remaining 7 ivory heads have cracks in them. All of the black keys are here but some have wear to them. My plan is to remove them from the keybed for shipping just the keys themselves. I would have trouble finding a box to fit the keybed so I don't want to ship it. These would be great for ivory replacement on older pianos. They should fit most but not all older pianos. The guy i bought this from told me this was a wall mount stool. I Don't this so. I think it is a floor mount. But as the buyer you can decide! I took pictures both ways. ANy way this is an oldie! It is also very heavy it weights 23 lbs. THe stool wooden seat measure 10 1/2 inches across and is 2 inches thick. It is 24 inches tall from the floor with the seat down. THe only marks i see says Patented. THe metal plate on the bottom is 12 x 12 inches! I really feel this piece came out of an old post office. I believe these are English in origin as they were purchased in a lot at an English container auction in the early 90s. I have a complete set of four ball and claw style feet for free standing bath tubs. These are very heavy cast iron. Each foot weighs about 3 pounds! Here are a couple of measurements for you: Height: About 6.5 inches Width at claw and ball: About 3 inches Width opposite claw: About 5 inches Length of tub mount: About 3.75 inches Length of tub slot in mount: About 2 inches As you can see in pic number 5. One of the feet has two metal pieces taped to the back. These are the only two present. I am assuming that they have something to do with the mounting of the pieces to the tub. I am not certain but someone obviously taped them on there for a reason. I do not think that the finish is original. It appears that they have been primed. Vintage mid-century. Modern, danish-style looking side or end table.I believe made of maple. The top appears to be made of a Munising dough/cutting board. I don't know if it was originally manufactured as a table or if someone added the screw-on legs later. The top measures 24" by 17 3/4"the tapered legs are 18 1/2" long. The table stands 19" high.
