It has a center carved door and two cleverly hidden compartments behind the pillars. The supports pull out to support the lid when opened. The interior has a few wear marks, which is normal for this type of desk. It has the grill work on the top.

The desk measurements are as follows: 15” deep 14-3/4” wide 4-3/16” high The wooden pencil box measures 10-1/4” long 3” wide 1-1/4” high As far as I can tell the box has its original finish and is in excellent vintage condition. There is a small area on one of the edges side where about ½” finish has been lightly scraped but I imagine a little Old English would touch this up. Charming antique school desk and chair. Made by Kenney Bros. and Wolkins of Boston. MA, this set has nuts in the supports to allow for each piece to have its height adjusted. The legs of the desk and pedestal of the chair are black painted metal and have holes for securing them to the floor. The desk top and seat of the chair look like they are made of maple. The inside of the desk has been painted a soft green color and there is a hole in the desk top for holding an inkwell. This desk dates from sometime between 1902(when Kenney Bros. and Wolkins merged) and 1930, which is when the company changed its name and discontinued furniture making. The desk and chair are both in very good condition. Although these pieces were obviously put to their intended use. There is some wear to the surfaces, including marks on the desk top and edge and a gouge ... morenear the top of the desk. See pictures. It also looks like an industrous student carved their initials in the side of the desk. There is also some hairline separation to the seat of the chair at the back. Unsure if the height adjustment is functional- it has been many years since it was used and may need some TLC. Otherwise no damage or repairs. The desk top is 24" long and 18" wide and at its pictured height the desk stands 29" tall. The chair is 16" wide and has a seat that is 13 1/4" deep. It stands 30" tall at its current height. Here is a vintage School Desk for little tots. Kindergarten. Pre-School, 1st Grade. I believe this is from the 40's or 50's. I was going to do a fancy restoration on it, but I consistently get side-tracked. Perhaps you would like to undertake a restoration. All parts of this desk are in solid condition. It could use some paint. The Maple Plywood seat needs re-finishing, and a solid top to replace the Manufactured top would be nice. That project is for you or another. Description This is a lovely antique school desk. It has a wooden left top with metal sides and legs. It is 30"high. 23 1/2" wide and 16 1/2" deep. It has a hole for an ink well at the top, a recess to hold a pen, and an actual pen. When you lift the lid you will see that Alex Moore wasn't paying attention in class and decided to inscribe his name to the lid. Wonder if he got in trouble for that one? Antique French Boulle Style Ladies Writing Desk
This is a antique French ladies writing desk possibly(REPRO) from the mid 18th Century Boulle style. It is completely hand crafted of European wood and trimmed in Ornatmental Brass. The rarity of the hump style front and delicately curved lines is what separates this desk from so many others. The drop front opens to a leather? covered table with wooden slots at the back to keep your letters and stationary. There is even a secret compartment that slides open just in front of the writing surface. The cabriole legs are enhanced by hand sculpted brass mythical figures with wings. Cabinet makers frequently added some sort of ornamentation in the vulnerable areas of furniture to prevent dents and scratches. The ornamental brass continues on the lower leg and feet as well as all along the top edge and across the back of the desk. The back section ... moreappears to be small crowns of some sort. Possibly royalty.There is a crown missing on the right,but is not noticeable.The back of the desk has three small cracks in the vaneering I believe due to dryness and age.NOT SURE) Also some of the marquetry on front will need to be fixed. I purchased this cool looking phone at an auction. I don't know much about these so I have included pictures from every possible angle. It is a beautiful black color with a painted gold pinstripe along the edge. I have not done anything to try and polish or restore phone. The rotary dial and cradle have nice spring to them. Antique Walnut Roll Top Desk - $499 (pick up only in Plymouth, Michigan)
This desk was built by Standard Furniture Company. Herkimer NY. The dimensions are: 50" wide, 32" deep, 43.5" tall. As far as I can tell, everything is original and the desk is in very good condition. The lock on the roll top bears the name Standard and still has the original key. The center drawer has a label inside it indicating that the desk is walnut and was built by Standard Furniture Co. The center drawer also has the remnants of the Standard Furniture Company's official seal, with an eagle in the center. Some of the walnut veneer has come off, especially on the lower legs and on the front left side of the roll top frame. I will not ship the desk. You must pick it up in Plymouth. Michigan 48170.

This is a gorgeous Antique English Washed Pine Desk. I purchased it in Bernardsville. NJ at an English Pine Furniture Shop. The owner imported antique pine furniture from England. It is absolutely beautiful and well made(see phote of drawer dovetail) I paid around $975 for the desk. I am offering is at a much lower price for due to 2 issues: 1) drawer hardware is missing the pull part(see last photo. and the desktop has been replaced. 2) the desktop has been replaced. I am in the military and purchased this exquisite piece of furniture over seas while I was deployed. It is unlike anything I have ever seen. I was told when I bought it that the man who hand crafted this particular desk had spent two full years to complete it. The man's name is Mr. Chakku. I have possessed this piece of furniture for the past two years. And the retail of this authentic dragon writing desk was $8,000 at the time, and the value just increases over time. This is a very old(I have no idea how old) children's school desk that I just inherited and really don't have the use for. Also included are a pair of hinges from the same desk. The supports seem to be made of iron. One of them needs to be put in a vice in order to loosen the square nut from the screw. Otherwise. It's all there. The supports are just under a foot in length when fully opened. There is a number"94" stamped on one leg. Pivots show a bit of wear. But they are the real deal. The piece appears to have been painted at some time in the dim past, and residual paint is present on everything. Hinges are plain metal. Great for a period correct restoration. So.
