Gold Green Purple. 5 Newel Post Finials. 3 are perfect 2 are modified and one of them is broken but would be an easy fix with Super Glue. These came from a very nice home with 5 Newels on the staircase. At Christmas time the owner would remove the simple walnut Finials and replace them with these colorful finials. Three simply screwed in while two had larger holes to fill thus the modifications. One of these were broken as you can see in the photos. Vintage Newel Post Finials 4 Four Total Oak Hand Made Appalachian Mountains. Physically these finials seem to be in great shape however they would benefit with some sandpaper and a touch of paint. These came from an Estate sale we attended some time back. I have left these as found in order to show the original paint colors. Looking at the wood that is exposed where the paint is missing you can tell that these were turned out of Oak. I am thinking that they may have been made by a local craftsman of the day but have nothing to back that up. The wood part of the finial is just a tad over 5" tall and the diameter is right at 2 3/4" The metal screw sticks out 1/2" below the wood base. Unique brass antique table lamp parts! Two table lamps with pretty filigree and red stone jewels. Each lamp has a ornate base. Six sided shade with center medallions of red and black stones. Vintage 1940's Cast Iron Chain Link Cyclone Fence Post Top Cap - 7 Caps
Up for auction is a set of 7 very unusual cast iron post caps for a chain link/ cyclone fence. These came from a house in Portland. OR that was built in 1947. My neighbor took down the original cyclone fence in order to build a wood fence, so I rescued these caps. They are very heavy and weigh 1/2 lb. each! They are made to fit a 1 7/8" post, and are marked 1 7/8 on the inside. They have a very unusual raised design on the top which I have never seen before. 6 of them have been spray painted silver, so you could either leave them painted or strip them back to the original gray finish. It measures 4 7/8 inches tall and comes to a rounded point at the top. At the bottom is the part that measures 3 1/2 inches around and would fit in the end of an antique curtain rod or in the hole at the top of a piece of furniture. That part is about 1 inch tall. These are heavy cast iron. 7" tall, outer measurements as bottom are 2.5" X 3" and would fit a 1-7/8" X 2-1/4" square post. The oblong hole measures 1-3/4" by 2-1/4" and probably is a hole for a fence top rail. The small curve at the top is about 3/8" diameter and may have been to attach barbed wire? for extra security. Selling 5 in a lot. It's all I have and there won't be any more after they are gone. Weight of each one is almost 2.5 pounds! Will be shipped in a medium priority flat rate box. Antique Victorian Brass Coat of Arms Fleur-de-lis Floor Lamp Bridge Part Unusual
This item appears to be part of the bridge of an ornate antique floor lamp. It depicts a coat of arms topped by a plumed helm. With three mascules on a bend sinister separating two fleurs-de-lis. While this item is an excellent piece to use in restoring a bridge lamp. It would display beautifully on its own if attached to a heavy wood or marble base. It would also make an eye-catching finial for a large table or floor lamp. This item is in as-found. Uncleaned condition, and has a beautiful patina. Measurements are ~8.5" tall x 6" at the widest point. Base is threaded and about 1.5" in diameter. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. And I will answer them to the best of my ability. This finial is 6" long and 5" wide. It is 3/8" think. Which makes it heavy for its size. It weighs almost 1 1/2 pounds. It has obviously been painted so I don't know what's underneath.

Antique Set of 5 Vaseline Opalescent Iron Glass Chandelier Finials Hardware
I am offering a set of 5 Rare Vaseline Glass Finials. The beautiful ornate hardware is cast iron and vaseline glass. The glass has an opalescent appearance. But it glows brightly under the black light. I thought they might be drawer pulls or possibly furniture or curtain hardware; but I think they are for a chandelier or hanging light fixture. If someone has more information on them. I would love to know more about these pieces. They are 2 7/8" long. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. There is a large bubble inside of one finial. But it cannot be felt on the glass. It can be see in the pictures. I tried to take them apart to clean them. But I was not able to take them apart. Email me with questions. Here is a vintage all solid bronze Gate. Fence Post, Column Topper, Large Ball Finial. Left in as found condition with nice original patina. Measures 11" high the ball is 6" wide and the bottom opening is 2 3/4" Hollow center. It has a small dent, please see photo. Heavy item weighing 12 pounds. I put a magnet on it and it does not stick. Huge diamond facet cut crystal glass antique boule d'escalier newel post finial
Gorgeous antique newel post finial. Solid and extreamly heavy! The base is brass. And I have not seen many finials with such ornate detail on the brass base, so I would consider this quite rare. There is some slight damage to the brass where it looks like it was removed fom the newel post(I'm guessing) there are extreamly minor surface scratches on the crystal- but in remarkable condition over all. This piece is threaded on the inside of the base as well as having screw holes on each side of the base for mounting. Over all hight is between 6.5 and 6.75 inches overall.

Vintage Cast Iron Pear Shaped Finial Railroad, Fence or Gate part
Selling a vintage cast iron finial. It stands 5 inches tall is 3 inches at the wide spot and 1 1/2 at the top. Base measures about 1 5/8 and the hole in the bottom is 1 1/4 wide and deep. There is a hole on the side of this to attach it to whatever pole or fixture it is put on to. I suspect this may be from a Railroad fence. Light or some other Railroad use. It looks similar to other Railroad items I have found online. THIS IS A GUESS! T may just be a fence post finial.
