You are viewing my auction for a Vintage Pottery Pitcher that is Stamped on the bottom"OR China Co" I am unsure if this is the exact name however since this is the best I could read from the bottom stamp. There is a Scalloped Top Rim. It is a Heavy Pitcher that weighs 2.6 pounds. This pitcher measures 8" tall by 7 and 1/2" long by 5" wide. VINTAGE EARLY 20th C. ENGLISH SADLER & CO PITCHER W/ PEWTER LID
Antique English pewter-lidded pitcher. Made by Sadler& CO. Marked SADLER BURSLEM ENGLAND. This interesting and beautiful pitcher is made of pottery(earthenware) but is painted to look as if it were porcelain. I understand that this treatment of a pottery item as unusual. The lid is pewter and features a thumb tab set in a floral design. There is a crease in the front of the lid, but it is otherwise intact. The body of the pitcher is painted in two colors, dark blue(usually referred to as cobalt) on the top half and light blue on the bottom half. It is decorated with daisy-like flowers and has gold gilt lines around the waistline and bottom of the pitcher. As well as where the stylized light blue handle attaches to the pitcher. The bottom and inside are brown, the natural color of the pottery. The pitcher is about 7.5 inches tall from ... morebase to top of the thumb tab and is about 4 inches across the base, tapering upward. I am not an expert and I have relied on research to describe this item as accurately as I can. I have no real idea about the age of the item. But I have been told that it is likely from 1895 to 1920 because the tariff act enacted in 1921 required the words"Made in England" to be used on items produced from that time on. This very unusual. This antique pitcher is 9 inches tall and almost 9 inches wide. It is marked Statford H Alcock& Co. Cobridge, England. Patent February 12, 1884, Being an old used antique, it is not perfect, but almost. It has a small chip on the bottom edge and a brown crack that shows on the front and the inside. It holds 11 cups of water and does not leak. There is crazing on the inside bottom and some on the top of the outside that does not stand out. In other words, it is not a visual distraction. Antique English White Relief Molded Pitcher, Cattails, 19th Century Ridgway & Co
Fantastic molded relief pitcher. English, Marked October 1, 18_ There is a bubble in the glaze and I cannot read the exact year but this is from a collection of English Pitchers from the early to mid 1800's. The mark on the bottom also says"Published by W. Ridgway& Co, Vanley. The label that is shown is as found from a Maryland antique shop. The piece is glazed inside and out. 9-1/2" tall and 8-3/4" from the outermost part of handle to tip of spout. Wonderful detail. No crazing which is remarkable for the age of this piece. This incredibly beautiful pitcher dates from the short period of 1897-1903. While Bauer and Rosenthal were merged into one company. The piece is in absolutely perfect condition. Antique stoneware or drabware pitcher dated September 1. 1840. This pitcher is quite grand and lovely. Made in sage green with attached and loose fitting original pewter top. It features a very detailed scene of 2 knights on horses in a jousting match. There are 2 other knights in armour standing by watching the match. There is also a tent. The pitcher is decorated with an elaborate band of grapevines with clusters of grapes, a Gothic design outlining the spout and base, and beautifully designed handle. The detailed workmanship on this pitcher is very fine. It measures approx. 6 1/2" tall to the top of the handle and approx. 5" across at the widest point. This is a rare and beautiful pitcher found in both the collections of the British Museum and the Victoria and Albert in London. This jug celebrates the Eglinton Tournament. Vintage W M Co Semi Porcelain Pink & Yellow Carnations Mums Milk Creamer Pitcher
This is a Vintage W. M. Co. Semi Porcelain Milk Creamer Pitcher. It stands about 7" tall and from handle to spout 7" wide. I would say it hold about a quart- liter size pitcher. It has been used and has very few scratches to the surface. There are no chips or cracks to the milk creamer pitcher. Some minor worn gold paint& some minor crazing to the glaze look. I am not sure of the pattern. I called the flowers Carnations& Mums? I would say it is in great condition and worth adding to a collection.

Description Antique Fannie Flagg Windy City Pitcher Robinson Clay Co. Akron. O. Condition One 2.5” hairline crack as noted in photos. It is a solid hairline with no chipping or fleabites. Otherwise. There is no other damage, repairs or factory defects. Age Circa 1902. Which was the beginning of the Robinson Clay Product, Co. and consistent with the completion of the Flatiron Building that same year. Measurements 8 ½” tall 6” Bottom Diameter 5” Top Diameter Item’s weight– 3 lb. 6 oz. Weight including. Packing and box– 5-6 lbs. max. But I believe this one is an original, possibly a first production run. First. The stamp on the bottom was double stamped and there is only a capital“A” for Akron, ... moreOhio, where the factory was located. Others have all kinds of companies and other writing on the bottom, testament to their later production and replication. Second. The color is the best I have seen. The blue is right where it should be throughout. I have seen some later examples that are hideous in how much blue was used and how it bled outside of the images. Especially Fannie Flagg. Sometimes the overuse of blue in her eyes can make her look like a ghoul at best; if not completely obliterate any facial features or expression. It is too bad it has a light. Hairline crack, otherwise it would be perfect. The hairline is solid and doesn’t appear to be a problem. I’m not sure when that happened. Considering most of these have some degree of chipping. Especially around the spout, this is a really nice, well cared for, early example of a classic pitcher. Wish I had the matching mug to go with it but I don’t. Antique W. C. Co. Water Pitcher As seen by the mark on the bottom of this semi-porcelain pitcher. The W. C. Wellsville China Company. Co indicate this is a Wellsville China Company piece, made in Wellsville, OH, USA. This mark was used circa 1902-1910 by this company. This pitcher has lots of scroll work and measures 7 1/4 inches tall and is 6 inches across at the widest point. Good vintage condition. With no cracks, no crazing, no stains or chips or repairs.

Up for auction is a beautiful white semi-porcelain pitcher with gold trim. It is about 12" high and 9 1/4" at it's widest. It has an all over craze which adds to it's beauty. As seen in the photo of the front view. There is a crazing line that runs from the spout to the base. Also, as seen in the close up photos, there is a tiny chip on the spout of the pitcher. Up for auction is a white Ironstone Pitcher from New Jersey Pottery Co. It measures 6 1/2 inches tall. This pitcher has an elaborate handle with an upturn thumb rest. I see no chips or cracks but there is staining around the inside and outside of the pitcher by the mouth. It is a beautiful piece that has stood the test of time. Antique Late 1800's Burgess & Campbell Lotus Pitcher International Pottery Co.
Up for auction is a Rare Antique Burgess& Campbell Lotus Pitcher. Probably Made in the 1890's if not ealier in Trenton. NJ. Mr. Campbell left the Company in 1903 at which time it became Burgess& Co. So it was made prior to that and probably earlier. Lotus was a Pattern mark used on toilet and table wares. It is a simple almost Primitive design. I suspect that this pitcher was used in an outhouse or bathroom to hold water for clean up or for other uses. It is in Good condition for it's age. Check my pic's for condition. I saw no chips. Cracks or repairs. Just some crazing which is normal on a piece of this age.

This is a beautiful little pitcher with an antique type design. It is approximately 6" tall. I have 2 other small ones with different designs and 1 larger one with yet another design. ANTIQUE(over 100 years old!!) Taylor, Lee & Smith Co. Clay Ware Pitcher
The mark on this pitcher says"Taylor. Lee& Smith Co. Granite" It is not granite, it's clay ware. The company Tayor, Smith& Taylor began production in Sept.1900 under the name Taylor, Lee& Smith. They changed their name 1 year later after Lee withdrew from the company. Which makes this pitcher at least 112 years old. It shows its age with LOTS of crazing but is generally in very good condition considering. Discolorations, a chip under the spout, a very tiny chip on the bottom edge and a short crack in the top edge is all I can find that makes this pitcher less than a perfect find. The size is 7" tall, 8" from spout to handle, 5.5" across the bottom and 5" across the top. Please see all photos before bidding. Thanks so much for looking!

This rare milk/water pitcher is made by the Belknap Hardware Manufacturing Company of Louisville Kentucky. It is 8 1/2 inches tall. 6 inches across the base, and 4 1/2 inches across the opening It weighs 4.5 pounds It is very old. But in good condition for the age. It belonged to my Grandmother, and possibly my Great Grandmother, making it well over 60 years old. There is one chip on the top edge, and some flaking along the rim. Lovely Dresden china pitcher is 11" high by 9 1/2" wide(from spout to handle) Opening is roughly 4" x 4" wide. No chips or cracks! The colors are wonderful featuring a wide magenta colored band at top. And pink and blue trumpet flowers on front with leaves and shadow leaves. Back design mimics front but in simpler motif. The gold banding is totally intact, as are the gold accent details on the handle. For those not familiar with T.P.C. Company here is a brief overview: T.P.C. Co. stands for The Potter's Co-operative Co. of East Liverpool, Ohio. This co-operative opened in 1882 when several local potteries purchased the Dresden Pottery Works. The pitcher is decorated with raised decoration depicting figures in tavern on one side and figures on horseback being chased by flying witches on the other. The handle is molded in the form of an arm and hand. The base is marked/impressed: Published by W Ridgway& Co. Hanley. October 1, 1835" As you can see in the photos this pitcher does have some wear and tear from age. It does have a chip on the bottom as well as close to the spout. This is a Beautiful Vintage Piece!
