This sale is for a Vintage Enamel Blue& Gold Cross& Chain Necklace. The piece came from a very clean. Smoke free estate sale. It is in excellent condition. I saw no damage, scratches or repairs. It is clean, odor free and is ready to wear. The cross is composed of brightly colored square tiles of blue and gold(center tile only) enamel painted sections. The back of the cross has a textured stacked squares design. I saw no makers marks on the cross or chain. The tiles are so shiny I thought they might be glass but the estate manager said they are individually set enamel painted pieces. Vintage Artist Marked L.Taxco. 925 Made in Mexico, has a#3 in the bell hallmark, Sterling Silver With Real Red Stones in the Cross, could be red amethysts or Red Glass not sure( needs to be checked out by jeweler) Attached to the cross is a.800 Silver Chain that has a 13-1/2" drop to the top of the cross. The cross is 3-1-2" long x 2-3/4" wide. The cross has some slight imperfections& old repair to the back as shown in pictures 3 and 2.
