This is a very cool and substantial pair of geometric architectural corbels/ brackets on a large scale. 4.5"D x 30"W x 24"L. They are in great original condition. And display a very triangular and modern look. There is a hollow square iron chase(shown here at a 90 degree angle) through which wires can be threaded and a light or lantern can be hung, and likely once was. These 2 old terra cotta corbels are stand alone lovely just as they are- prop them up with your pretties and they will shine! Actually- they'd prop the pretties. I should say, as they are stand sturdy pieces of terra cotta clay, matching, each with a three round ball decoration on the front. Each one weighs a smidge under 5 1/4 lbs, and they measure 2 5/8" wide, 6 1/4" deepest and 5 3/8" tall. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition- no structural issues or cracks, but with lots of rustic wear to the clay- there's small chips, nicks, pits, rubs- some original ... moreto the rustic making, some not- like on the round balls of the front. Set of 2 Two Vintage Antique Architectural Gold Paint Plaster Corbels Brackets !
Hi: For your consideration here is a nice set of two(2) vintage or antique sconces or brackets! These medium to large size pieces measure a bit over 8 1/4" from the top of the shelf to the bottom tip. And the surface area of the shelf top is about 9 3/8" wide by 4 1/2" deep which is the maximum depth they would stick out from a wall when mounted. The pieces weigh close to two pounds each unpacked. They are made of what appears to be white plaster or a similar material and the gold finish looks similar to gilders paste/paint. There is a small wire rod in the plaster with a twisted piece of wire on the back of each for hanging. Both are in good condition with no major loss or cracks. Both have light to dark spots or areas in the top shelf part(3rd photo from last) and the other has several small chips and related finish loss. ... moreThe'worst' chipped area is shown in the last photo but there is nothing that could not easily be touched up. Description This is a great pair that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. They are matching in size and design. There is nice scroll work on the sides. All the moldings are present but need nailed on. There is chippy brown paint with bare wood in places. Each measures 13.25 inches deep with moldings. 11.5 inches tall and 8 inches thick with moldings. Overall. They are in good co ndition. There are misc. light scratches and dings as they are antique. BEAUTIFUL SET OF ASIAN CHINESE WOOD LATTICE SCREEN CORBELS ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE
These are Chinese handmade(mortise and tenon) lattice screen corbels. The corbels have signs of use/wear. But are in really good condition with a medium reddish brown mahogany finish. NOTE- One side of each corbel is weathered due to sun exposure. And the other is not as weathered due to less/no sun exposure. The corbels measure 24 1/2" long X 14 1/2" wide X 3 1/4" thick. Great antique or vintage cast iron Roman/Greek faces architectural brackets. This is a great set that I picked up at a local estate. They're very nice and have great detailing to the man's features. Both pairs are in good condition with nice patinas to both. They're free from chips. Cracks, or breaks. Up for bid is a set of 8 or 9 pieces of architectural antique porch brackets. Also referred to as corbels, which make up 4 pairs. Each bracket spans 26-1/4" long across the soffit or frieze portion of your porch at a height of about 14-15" down from the frieze or soffit. Each bracket is approximately 1-3/4 to 2" thick and is painted with several coats of white paint. Most are in exceptional condition for their age, believed to be from the mid to late 1800's, though there are a few, which have a missing piece of wood here or there. There is also a portion of a ninth bracket, not complete that will be included, so that parts of this piece can be cut off to replace what might be missing on the others. Antique Matching Set of 4 Architectural Salvaged Corbels with Original Paint
Here is a matching set of four salvalged antique scroll type design corbels with the remnants of the original paint. The corbels measure 24" high. 5" wide, and 19" deep(however the ones with the attached trim measure closer to 22" deep) I have tried to show as much as I can with the 12 pictures available, but have taken additional photos(5 of each corbel showing each side, the top, back, and bottom) There are some pieces missing here and there on the corbels, I guess to be expected when they are this old. Gorgeous ornate decorative brackets that came from a home that was built in the 70's. They are made out of some kind of metal possibly aluminum but sturdy like cast iron. Color is antique white. There is a big A with 3 other letters in a circle. One has the number 1 and 12R on it and the other has a 2 and a 12R. Antique Victorian WOOD CORBELS Architectural Salvage BOOKENDS book end carving
These are TWO Antique Vintage Architectural Salvaged CORBELS. Each measures 6 3/4" tall. AND each measures 8" wide. AND each measures 4" deep.NOT including the wooden piece of wood that sticks out on each of them.if you include this they each measure 5" deep. They are NOT new. Please expect to see wear.to include that you hands will get dirty handling them.I only wiped them down and not put any water on them.AND some of the original nails are sticking out of the corbels.PLEASE look at the pictures. They work VERY Nicely as bookends.PLEASE Look at the pictures. THOUGH I can see them as Brackets holding a Mantle Shelf.or Wall Shelf. These are VERY Nicely Made and Strong. 2Primitive Vintage Terra Cotta Brick Corbels Pediments Architectural Bookends 2! These 2 old terra cotta corbels are stand alone lovely just as they are- prop them up with your pretties and they will shine! Actually- they'd prop the pretties(or books) I should say, as they are stand sturdy pieces of terra cotta clay, matching, each with a three round ball decoration on the front. Each one weighs a smidge under 5 1/4 lbs, and they measure 2 5/8" wide, 6 1/4" deepest and 5 3/8" tall. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition- no structural issues or cracks, but with lots of rustic wear to the clay- there's small chips, nicks, pits, rubs- some original to the rustic making, some not- like on the round balls of the front.
