Couple tight surface cracks, few ligt stains, blemishes, and a light streak that I cannot determine the cause of, but overall very nice. SIZE: HEIGHT: 27" WIDTH of top: 20" by14" Nice and sturdy CONDITION: Table is excellent. Though I did take a closeup of a dark line you can feel, on one leg, and a closeup of the same leg on other side. As you can see, the line does not go all way through, so I do not know what it is. Someone had a plant pot on it for years and it left a center ring on the top that is approximately 6 inches circular. It could easily be covered with another plant pot or lamp. The table is beautiful with a wide shapely ogee bevel edge white and gray grained marble that sits upon a rosewood and walnut hand carved base with outside legs that are joined together with a cross stretcher and center finial. It is a great table dating from the 1870s to 1880s. I am confident that it has had an overcoat applied at some point in its past, but it has a warm mellow touch to the medium walnut stain finish. The table consists of walnut and mahogany. It is all hand carved with the floral arrangements on the serpentine skirts and cabriole style legs. The four legs are joined together with cross stretchers in the center with a huge center finial that is an open cup. The overall size is 36 inches long, 26 inches deep and 30 inches high. C3100. this is a fabulous table. the walnut wood Eastlake design is very ornate and showy. Very normal of the Eastlake Victorian fancy style. the side or lamp table has it's original coco brown marble in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or stains. the original marble measures about 25" x 18' and is 3/4" thick. the table measures about 25" x 18" and it is 30 1/2" tall. the table is beautifully carried by four wooden castors. the table is in excellent condition and needs no refinishing and is ready for your home or office. i believe that the walnut finish is original. Antique Victorian walnut marble top washstand or commode. The original finish is good but not great. It looks fine as is or you can refinish it. There is one piece of trim missing at the bottom left of the washstand. It also appears that the right door pulled loose at some time. See pictures. The marble has some scratches and some staining. Offered for auction is this wonderful Renaissance Revival/Neo Grec/Egyptian Revival. Oval walnut marble top table. The table has been professionally refinished at some point in the past and has a wonderful color, patina and look. Big beautiful slab of thick grey and white Vermont marble in super condition. Super carving and applied moldings to the legs and 4 wonderful carved female heads on the 4 sides of the deep skirt in cartouches framed with swagged drapes. From the headress and hair style, they appear to be either Egyptian or Grecian styles, hence the attribution. The marble top has no stains or cracks, the width is 29&1/2 inches, the depth is 21&1/2 inches and the table is approximately 28 inches tall on the original castors. Antique Victorian Eastlake Marble Top Walnut Foyer Hall Side Occasional Table
This lovely antique Victorian Eastlake foyer/ hall/ side table features a walnut base with intrique detailing. Original dark finish, original white marble top with gray veining and casters on feet(while old and in place for quite some time based on signs of aged metal, the casters are likely not original because they are not wood casters, so it makes sense that they were replaced at some point) I believe the table is late 1800s, but it could be as late as 1900-1920(I can't find the original paperwork) There are no chips or cracks in the wood base, and the marble top is great condition, with no damage. There is one small light brown-ish spot on marble from where price tag was when I bought the table(see photo) but since it is on the surface(versus in the marble) and you can feel it with your finger, I am sure it is the remnants of the ... moresticky side of the price tag that could be buffed out(I never bothered to try) All four legs have casters, but one of the casters has a few very small chips to the wheel part. Very nice oval walnut parlor table with original marble top. Scalloped lower shelf. Original porcelain castors. The piece is in very good condition. Marble top is in excellent condition for age with exception of small pencil eraser size stain. With no chips or cracks. As you know. Any antique furniture will have minor nicks or imperfections. We have not tried to repair anything, but did apply a good furniture oil to the entire surface.
