Mid Century Door Lite kit by Crestview
This is a door lite kit manufactured by Crestview Doors. It is uninstalled and in the original packaging. It comes with instructions and templates for creating your own door like the one in the first picture. The panes can be arranged any way you like though. Each pane is 5 1/2 inches wide and range from 25 to 14 inches long. You are not getting a complete door. Just the kit with the windows. Crestview no longer sells these kits, only complete doors starting around $2000(since their recent price increase) The model is called the Westenhaven, with 3 rectangular windows in graduated sizes. Antique Gothic Glass Panel Church Doors Offered here is this Antique Double Gothic Church Door with vintage glass panels. This door came from a small town in South/Central Texas and was a salvaged purchase. It is Gothic to Renaissance in style and will need to be refurbished since the wood has some scratches. Nicks and miscellaneous small repairs on them. The glass looks to be 1940’s or older with four panels replaced by a different style of glass. These four replaced pieces of glass panels have a starburst/snowflake type pattern while the remainder has a mottled goose-bump style. There are 30 glass panels in total on the two doors. It measures: 68”W x 7’T. A finish carpenter would have to make them conform to your city’s code ordinances as well as bring out the true beauty of these unique doors. I do not know for sure what the wood is made ... moreof. But most likely its mahogany. With a little elbow grease these doors could be brought back to their former glory and history. Vintage decorative screen door grille. 59 3/4" tall, 24" wide. 1/2" wide iron forms curling waves and wavy water surface, a cast aluminum sea gull spreads his wings over the water surface. There are screw holes for mounting across the bottom and at points up the sides. All the iron work was bent and completed by hand. This is possibly a piece by Macklanburg Duncan but I didn't see any markings. The tallest scroll on the right side has some slight flexibility so the grille can fit inside a slightly wider frame, it will arc out to a total width of 26" or 27" The grille is such an iconic Florida piece although I'm sure they were used along the Pacific Coast and up the Atlantic to New England. In the years before central air was a no-brainer in every home, Floridians would hope for some cross ventilation and keep ... moreonly the screen door on the latch. First of all this door is oak and has thick glass. That means that it is heavy. I would say that it is over 50lbs. I do not have the door knobs but the hardware is morticed inside the door and is still there. You will need a keyhole cover too. The door measures: 80" Tall and is 34" wide and 1.75" thick. It is within one eighth of an inch of perfectly square. The glass is 24" by 50" The right. Left, and top styles are 5" wide and the one across the bottom is 7" The board across the middle is 8.5" wide and the panels are 9.75 square. These panels are the same on both sides of the door. Antique 1800's Outhouse Door Dk Green w\Half Moon&Pro Carpenter Work Estate Find
Tonight's But it Now offering is for an Antique late 1800's Outhouse Door in dark green with a half moon cut out which in those days was very common. I got this great outhouse door at an estate sale this past weekend and it was just being uncovered with a pile of other shutters and doors when I arrived at the sale. The lady was saying that all the contents go back 3 generations and I would say that there's a good change that a lot of these old treasures have probably been lying there for nearly a hundred years or more.The door is in good condition with no rot. Some wear spots which only adds to it's attractiveness. It does have raised panels on the front, the larger bottom section and the top area where the moon is. It really is a well-made door, not just 3 or 4 boards tacked on a couple of back pieces, probably made by a ... moreprofessional carpenter, the best outhouse door I've ever seen. It measures approximately 17 1\8 inches wide and 59 1\2 inches tall which seems logical with people smaller back in the older times and especially the ladies. All of the items were kept in this good dry barn all these years and not exposed to the weather. It would make a great decoration for many situations. From what I understand the custom of the half moon in the door was from the older times where this symbol was designated for the females and a star or sun was designated for the males(from Son) in it's similarity to the Sun and females were more thought of in relation to the Moon. A great deal of the population back then couldn't read, especially out in the rural areas and so they had the symbols to make it easier for everyone. Vintage wood and hand blown glass panel doors
I have a set of vintage. Real wood doors with hand blown glass panels. They are from the early 1900's and originally came from a house in the Tacoma area. While the wood has normal wear on them, they remain in good condition and were recently used as office doors. There is one small crack in one panel of the glass. All the hardware is original. Doors are approximately 29 3/4' x 79 1/2' These doors are much to pretty to sit in my garage! They deserve to be the centerpiece of their new home. Local pick up only. 17th Century Wood Dutch Door Portal
I purchased this piece in an antique store in Paris in the 1980s. It was represented as a 17th Century Dutch door portal. But I have no independent way to know if this is correct as to date or location. For nearly 30 years it hung over a door in my house but I have no place for it now. It is deeply carved with robed figures on chariots pulled by galloping horses, both to the right and the left. And there are putti over the center. It measures 44" by 6 1/2" I do not know the type of wood. There are worm holes, but they existed at the time I bought it. A stunning architectural piece, either at eye level or over a door.
