HUGE ANTIQUE 1878 HOLY BIBLE LEATHER BRASS NEEDS RESTORATION AMERICAN PUBLISH CO
Offered for auction with a low starting bid and NO RESERVE. Is this wonderful Antique family Holy Bible dated 1873. Published by the American Publishing Company. It measures roughly 13" x 10" x 4" and weighs more than 13 pounds. Unfortunately, this bible is in need of restoration and for that reason, you are buying this as-is and returns will not be accepted on this item. Look carefully at my photos and feel free to ask me any questions. The binding of the book is a wonderful heavily embossed leather with gold embellishment. There are two brass or gold tone metal clasps. Both the front and back end boards have separated completely from the spine. The first several pages of the bible are worn and damaged with foxing and watermarks. Most of the interior pages are actually in good condition with some foxing and yellowing but not ... morebad. This bible contains hundreds of illustrations plus a dictionary, and interesting facts about the history and culture of the people and places mentioned in the Bible. It also has a few pages for family photographs(there are none unfortunately) and a page for recording Marriage. That was never filled out either. This bible is a fine example of a 19th century family heirloom and worthy of restoration or taken apart and used for parts. Good luck bidding!

Antique Brass Church Mary Sacred Heart Candlesticks - 23 1/4" tall
The neck has some very small dents. The top parts that catch the wax also is dented. SEE PHOTOS) It is not that bad. When I got these one of them was disassembled. The solder weld was apart on the steel finding on the bottom. see last photo) I flanged the metal out and it seams to be stable. They are 23 1/4" tall and 6" across the base. Absolutely beautiful Antique Russian Orthodox Brass Candle Holder WITH GLASS This item is in beautiful condition. It shows wear as would be expected in an item this age. All items. Including the cross, votive holder, and chains are original as far as we can tell from research. I have never seen a piece this perfect before. From the Estate of a woman that traveled extensively to Russia. The actual brass holder is 2 3/4" tall, 4 and 1/2" long with cross is hanging down, 2/12 diameter. Antique 2 Piece Large Heavy Brass Cross Needs Pole
Estate sale find. This Cross was meant to be mounted on a pole leading the procession up to the pulpit then set into the base. I think. It's 26 3/4" from top to pole hole and 12 3/4" across. Takes a 1" pole. The base is 10 1/4" across and 7 1/4" tall. The pole hole is 1 3/8" It has a split in the brass collar as shown in picture three.

This is a set of 4 antique. Brass candle followers manufactured by the Root Company. They are not in pristine condition, and have some wax/scratches/blemishes on them, but there is no noticeable damage to them other than the effects of normal use over time. They are sized to fit a 1 1/8" candle and this is even stamped on the outside of the followers. I've even used them on 1 1/4" candles and they'll barely fit over them, but pretty snugly. The bottom opening of the followers measures about 1.25" with an outside bottom diameter of about 1.5" and the height of the followers is 1.8" In looking at the Root Candle Company's website. This is a great-looking pair of antique brass church altar candlesticks with cherubs/angels on them. I'm not certain how old they are. But I would estimate they date circa 1900. Each measures 23 1/2 inches tall(60 cm) They are 8 1/2 inches wide across the feet(21.6 cm) I think these are really special because they each have three cherubs going around them. The cherubs appear to be silverplate over brass. The feet are each an animal paw with a ball beneath it. They are beautifully designed. As you can see in the photos. They are each covered in tarnish. I'm not sure if this can be cleaned or if you'd even want to. The candle holders on top are each bent a little and one has a small break in it. The screws on the bottom insides of each are rusted in place. The individual pieces of the candlesticks can be turned around because of ... morethis. You can basically shape it as you like. I've tried but I cannot tighten them up. But they still hold up well. They are each a little crooked, probably because they cannot be fully tightened up. Even given these issues. This auction is for a pair or set of two 19 3/8" tall Baroque styled Altar candlesticks from a Catholic Church. I think these are what they call the"Holy Family" set. Because they have facial images on all three sides of the base, of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. There is a little damage on the base of the shaft of one of them. The finish on them is pretty decent for an older pair like this- it looks like somebody must have polished them at some point. Please note that they are also without the sockets at the top- you will have to provide those yourself and I don't know what size of socket these originally had(or if they are old enough that they had the prong at the top?

This auction is for a set of altar bells(5 bells connected on one handle-stem) that have a pretty heavy tarnish/patina. This bell set is pretty small- only 5 1/4" tall and 4 3/4" wide from the outside of one bell cup to the other on the opposite side. Cute little set- particularly nice for a smaller chapel. Etc. However, please be aware that these will NOT give you the loud, rich, harmonious sound of the typical 4-bell chimes, because those have 4 different sized bells with different tones and also have three clappers under each bell cup. This little set cannot give the same sound as the traditional chime sets. This listing is for a pair of antique brass and glass candelabras. Each one has 3 arms for taper candles. There are no makers marks that i can find. The unscented ivory candles and clear glass bobeches are included in the listing. Please view all photos as they are considered to be an important part of the description. Condition: There are a couple of old repairs to each piece. See photos. 1 brass flower doesn't screw on but does stay put. There is patina to both candelabras. Overall a beautiful and unique pair of candlesticks in very good condition for age. Measurements: 17 5/8 inches at tallest 12 1/2 inches at widest Due to the weight and size of the pieces shipping will be higher. A very old and ornate copper clad brass censer This is basically an incense burner suspended from chains which is used during many Christian worship service. Burners are also used in the celebration of many other spiritual and ceremonial services They are also employed in the practice of ceremonial magic I believe this to be fairly old It's made of brass metal which is clad with copper It has been well used but I see no damage except for wearing of the copper. !!ANTIQUE!! 1800s Leather Brass Holy Bible
I have up for auction a very old holy bible new and old testaments from the 1800s. It is published by OXFORD and says it was PRINTED AT THE UNIVERSITY PRESS. It is made of leather and brass and consists of only text. No pictures. There is basic wear and tear and writing on the first pages and the book has detached from the binding. However.
