For your consideration, this fabulous and very impressive Tall Victorian Rococo Flame Mahogany Secretary with Arched Bookcase ... moreTop(Circa: 1860) This gorgeous two-piece Secretary weighs approximately 170 pounds and measures 102 ½” in total height(from the floor to the arched top of the crown) 44 ¼” in width, and 20 ½” in depth. The three adjustable shelves each measure 9” in depth and 41 ¼” in width. This is truly one of the most beautiful Victorian Secretaries of its kind that we have had the privilege to offer. You will notice that there is some faint writing on the back of the piece(see the e-Bay photo) that probably indicates either the maker or the person for whom the piece was made. From what we can see it is signed M. Hall, Hannibal, MO. The details on this Secretary are absolutely wonderful! This beautiful Secretary is constructed of mahogany. And flame mahogany over a secondary wood and the details are exquisite! The bookcase top is graced with a beautiful open arch top with a lovely center foliate carved pedestal that is surrounded on each side with elegant applied scroll land leaf adornments. The bookcase top doors have wavy glass that appears to be original. And three adjustable shelves. The doors have arched tops with picture frame moulding around the original glass and carved foliate escutcheons. The right door has an intact lock and a decorative(non-working) key is included to assist in opening the doors. Also. You will note that there is a small, insignificant scratch on glass in the lower corner of the right door which in no way impacts the beauty or integrity of the original wavy glass. The bottom slant front desk door of the Secretary is graced with luscious flame mahogany veneer, has a fancy brass key escutcheon along with an intact lock with working key. Antique Eastlake Dresser with Marble top, Glove Boxes & Ornate Mirror
This is a gorgeous Antique Eastlake walnut dresser with a white Carrera marble top. Ornately carved pivoting mirror, and glove boxes. The 3 drawers below have beautifully carved acorn pulls, and the glove boxes have porcelain knobs. There are burl panels on the front of each drawer under the pulls. The drawers have"pin and cove" joints. There is a crack on the top of one of the glove drawers as shown, but other than that, this is a very well preserved piece of furniture. The size is 33 1/2" high to the dresser top x 37" wide x 18" deep. The top of the mirror measures to 69" high. This item is for local pick up only. Antique Deutsch. Tschachtli, Co. oak wash stand with nicely turned bobbin legs. This is a nice historic piece for the Hornell. NY/ Hornellsville/ Steuben County New York area. From what I’ve found on the net. The company operated a furniture factory on the corner of Main and Pardee streets in Hornell starting about 1871. After Mr. Tschachtli retired. Sometime before 1891 apparently, the name of the company was changed to J.M. Deutsch& Co. Based on this information. And the tag on the wash stand that lists Deutsch. Tschachtli, Co. as the manufacturer. It would appear that this item was manufactured ... moresometime between 1866 or 1871 and about 1891. So it is reasonably old. I am unable to determine when the company went out of business. One solid reference indicates that it was still in business in 1919. I did see one reference to it in 1927 but I could not actually read the reference to see if it indicated that J.M. Deutch was still in business. I would think that this would be a nice piece for a Steuben County/ Hornell/ Hornellsville history buff to own. I’m sure that history buff would have a lot more to say about the history of the company. While researching the wash stand I found. On ebay, an envelope addressed to one Adua Banyer( in Dundee, NY bearing the company’s advertisement. The cancelation does not provide the date but the stamp is an 1882 George Washington 2-cent stamp. The advertisement/logo places the"warerooms" on the corner of Main and Church Streets and the factory on"Foot of Main Street. Hornellsville New York" I am including the envelope with the wash stand as an extra. In addition to the history buff. Antique dresser with carved grape handles
This dresser has 3 large drawers that each have carved handles. The handles are grapes& leaves(see photo) On the casters. The dresser dimensions are 41-3/4" wide X 17" deep X 43-3/4" tall(to the top of the small drawers on top) It is a unique piece and I am not sure of the wood but it looks like butternut. It is a beautiful color, all wooden with dovetail drawers. Their is an inlaid wooden star on top of each of the smaller drawers on the dresser top. The piece shows normal wear and the original finish is still very nice. I took a photo of the right side which shows a groove that does not go all the way thorough the side board. Also. There is some aging to the top- photo of that included also. This is a lovely. Unique piece of American history and I am hoping it finds a good home!

This is a rather uncommon piece of late Victorian furniture. A carved Walnut lock side lingerie chest. Locksides(sometimes called Sidelocks) were. Although uncommon by themselves, were generally executed as larger chests of drawers, more typically a dresser or chest. This piece is a lingerie chest with a beveled mirror(excellent condition) top with heavily carved crest and framework with pierced carved supports. Rather an overall organic motif with an Eastlake influence. Base has 4 deep drawers with a hinged locking panel(no key) along the right side. Tonight's Buy It Now Item is a Large Solid Oak One Inch Thick Fancy Mirror HARP w\ gingerbread which is all intact. Because of the largeness of the harp I took the 2 ends off from the center piece which will make it very easier to package and save on the shipping price significantly. I was hoping it would come apart easily and it couldn't have come off better. There are 2 dowels on each end and they slide right out with just a couple taps. Don't use a regular hammer. Either a rubber hammer or put a rag folded up between the wood and a regular hammer would be a better choice. When putting it together all you have to do is put a little glue on the dowels or put a couple brads in from the back where the dowels are. All the gingerbread is intact on it and the whole unit is in terrific condition. This oak mirror harp came from a beautiful ... morebeach house and the harp was in an old carriage shed on Lake George in the Adirondacks of New York where I picked it up several years ago. It's got a brown medium oak stain on it, which pretty much matches the original color. If you have any other questions about this oak harp, I'd be happy to answer your emails. Antique Maine pine dresser 1800s
Antique pine dresser from Maine. I was told its from the 1800s. Bought at auction in the early 90s. In great shape. There is a little bit of water marking on the bottom of one of the sides but barely noticeable and easily fixed. Mirror is newer and in good shape but could be secure in place more as it rattles in place a bit with strong movement. I put a small piece of cardboard behind original wood strap and thats easily stopped it. I think it was refinished long ago and is a nice looking piece. Must pick up(94525) Will not ship. This dresser has two top drawers and two lower drawers in the base. Plus two small drawers atop the base. It has a center mirror and two side, arched mirrors making it quite distinctive. For bid is an old. Victorian era wood doll house or TOY or DOLL DRESSER with three drawers with brass pulls! This wonderful piece of miniature furniture features wonderful details and very old-looking wood with some signs of age and wear. The entire item is made with very nice detail, very similar to a full sized piece of furniture. This chest of drawers stands just over 9 1/2 inches tall by about 6 1/2 inches deep. The widest measurement is over 12 1/2 inches. I’m guessing this item dates from about the 1880’s. It may have been made in the United States or somewhere else. I’m really not sure! Shabby Chic 1890's Antique Oak Dresser
This 1890's quaint old oak wash stand with smaller side cabinet is a lucky find and a rare piece. The design is not typical and would not have been available if it were not for some condition issues which have been remedied. The back was cobbled together with braces(solid plywood now reinforces the structure) and the lower cabinet top was gone(new oak matching cap) The hardware is all original and in great shape. As are the drawer bodies. The lower cabinet originally was meant for a chamber pot and is in good shape for its age. Wash stands used to be a common bedroom fixture around the turn of the century before many houses had running water and indoor plumbing. This piece has been lovingly updated with a custom aged finish which will work easily with almost any decor. This piece measures 41"wide x 21"deep x 31"tall.

Great little child's primitive chest of drawers or vanity. Looks to be all original and has wheels at the base. There is writing on the back of chest and one of the words I can make out is'Buffalo. 3 wide drawers and 2 short ones at the top. There is a mirror which has primitive carving around it. Pulls look to be original. Could be used for a large doll. Condition: The bottom drawer does not open-it feels sealed shut. I tried opening it by taking out the drawer out above it and pushing from behind(because I didn't want to brake pulls) But it would not budge. Antique vintage French Louis XV style dressing vanity
it has to be picked up. No shipping. the finish is far from perfect but still a beautiful display piece. i think the wood is oak but i'm not an expert by any means. it has chinese decor on it, three piece folding mirror, cane seat bench matches, the back has 921 stamped on it and i can't find any other markings as to the maker. it has scratches, chips and staining on the deck, some of the chinese decor is broke off and gone. NOTE: I did find the wooden back to the center mirror and it is now included.

The shaving mirror has three rare claws in the front, while the back has two round dowel wood peg legs. This is one of the most beautiful antique shaving mirrors of its time you will find. The mirror is attached by ball swivel hinges by Cope& Austin which the company was started in 1760 and later became Cope& Collison in 1865. So with that being said this is truly a beautiful Shaving Vanity, that dates late 1700's early 1800's. Their hinges were supplied to Jackson& Graham Co, in 1836. which became highly sought after and recognized. The shaving mirror does come with a few minor flaws in the wood as shown in the pictures, in which I think can be fixed by a craftsman very easy. Their are two pull out rolled front finish draws. The hinges are stamped Cope& Austin Patent. The original screws were replaced as shown in the picture. I will take more pictures as needed. I will be charging $100.00 for shipping. Wonderful antique cabinet in warm honey maple. Featuring one large drawer on top and a spacious double-door cupboard below. It has a beautiful patina and color, and great detail with its small backboard and nicely framed doors and sides. The handles, catches and wheels are original. I believe it's American. The chest measures 30 1/2" tall to top of the backboard. And 28 5/8" tall to the top. It's 30 1/2" across by 17" deep(front to back) The drawer is 24 3/8" across by 4 3/8" tall outside; inside measurements are 23" across by 13 3/4" deep by 3 5/8" tall. Mid 19th c. Chippendale Style Gentlemen's Dressing Mirror w/Drawer, No Reserve
Found in New England and up for sale without reserve is a beautiful mid 19th century Gentlemen's Shaving Mirror with one drawer. From the original mirror glass. Chippendale style feet, decorative satin wood inlaid stringing and hardware, it is one of the best I've found to date. The light satin wood stringing goes around the drawer opening, the outer edge of the box front and inside the mirror frame. The drawer bottom and the bottom of the box are hand-planed and the dovetails are narrow and very tight. It is all original and in excellent condition for its age, with a minimum of flaws. There are some small and tight age shrinkage cracks. The back left foot has an old chip out of it, and the satin wood string is missing from the left front side of the box. Antique Empire Style Buffet Dresser Storage
This was the piece that I had the most fun with. I used 16- SIXTEEN- different Annie Sloan chalk paint colors to get this effect. Plus Crackle Tex. Clear and dark wax. So. The story behind this piece is. Well, firstly it's massive. It is the great beast of all furniture. 60"x 26 1/2" x 42" and solid. It looks like wood, but I think it's really granite. It is that heavy. Two pull out drawers on top with ceramic Anthropologie knobs, one massive pull out drawer underneath, and two doors opening to full storage. I bought this from a really cool woman in Portland. You know the kind- just naturally hip. With the groove going on. She had been given it by a friend(I bet who was even cooler! when the friend moved to an Ashram in Portland. Apparently, each of the rooms had a buffet like this! Gawd, that would make me want to ... moredo yoga! It's kinda ironic because the buffet. As big as it is, was the natural dark wood stain. You would think that they would want light, bright colors(perhaps this is why they gave it away) All I can think of is that somewhere in deepest darkest North Portland there is an Ashram filled with antique buffets. That just makes me want to do a Down Dog Split with Open Hips, just thinking about it. I have this listed on my facebook page(ThePaintFactory) as a buffet. But one of my friends posted that she could see this as a changing table in a nursery. I think this is a STATEMENT piece, with endless possibilities. Could still work with traditional antiques, could totally work in a contemporary space, neutral and fun enough for storage in a kids room. Your imagination is your only limitation. Rare Antique Victorian Renaissance Revival Cottage vanity dresser
Up for auction is a beautiful Victorian Renaissance Revival Cottage dresser. Very old and cool. Pictures don't do it justice. Its 81 inches tall, 38 and 1/2 across and 17 and 1/4 out from the wall. Has four big drawers and two glove boxes on top, along with two candle shelves that are on either side of the mirror. The mirror glass was replaced in the 1970s but it tilts and is adjustable. Has worn spots but thats to be expected after over a hundred years. I fell in love with this etagere immediately. I still can't tell what the wood is. But I think it's a light colored mahogany. It is missing one finial on the bottom left, and there is a chip on the bottom decorative piece that runs across horizontally. Very strong and sturdy though definitely not intended for use as a bookshelf. 58" high x 27" wide. Top shelf is 6 1/2" deep and bottom shelf is 10" deep.bThe shelves get gradually wider. There is a little bit of water marking on the bottom of one of the sides but barely noticeable and easily fixed. I put a small piece of cardboard behind original wood strap and thats easily stopped it. I think it was refinished long ago and is a nice looking piece. Federal Dressing Mirror 1820 Vermont Birdseye Maple Sandwich Knobs
Fantastic Federal Dressing Mirror circa 1820. Dramatic Birdseye Maple case highlighted with Mahogany highlights. Finely turned cherry posts, all set off by original clambroth knobs. I see no evidence this piece has been refinished, though a couple nicks to the veneer on the mirror have been attended to. The brass mirror swivels show hand file marks, the case is dovetailed, leather washers were used on the drawer knobs, the chamfered mirror back is original, the mirror is probably an old replacement. The secondary wood is poplar. Old label on the back possibly from a spool of thread. Measures 16" wide, 6.5" deep, and 20" to the top of the mirror post. Purchased years ago on the NY/VT border. Up for auction is a beautiful solid cherry chest on chest circa 1850. This beautiful chest is very structurally sound with no defects in the structure. All of the drawers Ron good. It has locks in every drawer with a key as well. There are obvious signs of use especially on the top there are some rings nicks and scratches. But it is in great shape considering it is approximately 165 years old. This measures approximately 53 inches tall by approximately 41 inches wide by approximately 20 inches deep. This great estate find came from Ohio. The gentleman I purchased it from said that it belonged to his grandmother. There is no information before she owned it. This is a great style and a great antique piece. It is located in Myrtle beach South Carolina for local pickup only, however I would be willing to meet with in a 50 mile radius for delivery.

Eastlake Victorian Walnut Dresser With White Marble Top, Diamond Dust Mirror
This is a really nice old Eastlake Victorian dresser. It is in remarkably good condition. The drawers have the pegged scolloped rabbet joint very typical of the 1870's. The drawer bottoms are all original and in good condition. The top drawer which got a lot more use than the other drawers was worn on the bottom so its sides have been added onto to make them the proper size. The knobs have been replaced. But there is just one hole in the drawer indicating that the original pulls were single knobs. More pictures can be made available upon request for such things as I just described. This dresser is 98 inches tall to the top of the mirror. The dresser base is 26 inches tall to the top of the marble and it is 46 inches wide. The depth from front to back is 20-1/2 inches.
