19TH CENTURY EARLY-AMERICAN/COLONIAL-STYLE PRIMITIVE 13-PIECES OF HISTORIC DOOR& WINDOW IRON HARDWARE- THERE ARE 13 PIECES OF 19TH CENTURY(LATE-1800S_ WINDOW& DOOR HARDWARE WHICH INCLUDES: 2) window-sash lock with one matching-fitting keeper. There is only one keeper(see pics) these are same matching iron primitive window sash locks, from the 19th century that have the appropriate and original mechanisms in back underside to turn locks and tighten securely(see pic of back underside of locks provided) they have a primitive rose-head shape screw/rivet at center of backplate on underside(see pics) these wee taken from a house in New England which was built in the early 1800s and these pieces date to the later part of the 1800s or perhaps earlier, they both appear to be in working condition and fully functional, the windowsash locks and ... morethe(1) matching keeper are in very good period condition with some surface wear, are cast in iron, are all original with no repairs, have some white paint on the bottom half of one of them, turn easily and freely, no cracks-chips-dents-or deep scratches or corrosion, not bent or warped, may have a little very light surface rust only. Each sash lock measures approx. 2.75" long x 1.25" wide x 1" tall, they each have two mounting holes at either end. These are just fabulous as they are very ornate- intricate- fancy- they are special. These handles are extra heavy as the 4 have a combined weight of almost 1 pound 2 ounces. The overall size of each pull is 5 1/4" wide x 1 7/8" tall and each pull has the word LARGO stamped on the back. It only has 1 glass in the pane. The other must have been broke. Im not sure what this window came out of. It also could be used for decoration in a house or in the yard. I believe it came out of a house that was in the late 1800's. I measured these laying on the side. After I took the picture I think it might of went the other way but it prpbably could go either way. It measures 38 1/2" wide and approx 28" tall. These are Chinese handmade(mortise and tenon) window shutters in very weathered/rustic condition. The shutters were in a garden area. And therefore exposed to more water and sun than normal. The previous lattice screens and glass eventually succumbed to time and weather. The shutters are still beautiful and have alot of character. They can be used as-is, or easily have glass panes installed in them for a unique and customized look. NOTE- The shutters are both right hand opening and were not a pair. But they were the only ones that were still in good condition. The shutters measure 60" Long X 19 1/2" wide X 2 1/4" thick. The shutters can been used as wall art. This auction is for 1 Vintage 2 pane Cypress window with glass from 1920's This window was removed from my home dated built in 1927. All the millwork. Siding, and doors are cypress, so the windows are cypress also. The windows are weathered from sitting and from being on the house in need of some painting. I had planned to make a message center with this frame putting magnetic chalkboard in one part. And cork board on the other side. The frame can be hung horizontally or vertically. Beautiful Antique Leaded Glass Window or cabinet door in the diamond pattern and three Beveled Diamonds down the Center. This was in a house here in Ohio. It is 18" wide x 48" tall overall. The glass itself is 14x43. All the glass is in perfect condition no breaks at all. The wood frame was painted and has some finish loss and some wood loss. This will display like no other. Two Pairs Solid Oak Window Shutters~Window Treatments!!
Two beautiful pairs of solid oak window shutters~4 total panels. These were an estate sale find. The shutters are stationary and do not move up and down. Most hardware is present. Some will need to be replaced. They are raw wood, not stained or coated. The grain of the oak wood is gorgeous with just one coat of polyurethane and if I were to keep these, I'd use poly on them. They measure 35" tall, 16-3/4" wide(each pair of 2 panels) and a 1" depth. The fella' I bought them from said he'd used several pairs of these to create a windowscape to cover beer mirrors in his basement. I do not know if they came from a smoke or pet free home. They smell like wood to me and are being sold AS IS. One panel is very minutely taller than it's mate~an easy fix with sanding. These are heavy! I've sold two pairs already and ... morethat box weighed over 17 lbs. Solid oak shutters don't come around that often. PLEASE NOTE: Shipping is an estimate. THIS IS A PIECE I BOUGHT FROM A SALVAGE DEALER. IT IS 26" WIDE X 18" HIGH X 1 3/4" THICK IT IS AN OLD ARCHED STYLE WINDOW WITH 4 UNBROKEN WINDOW PANES IN A SOLID WOOD CASED FRAME. THE FRAME IS VERY STURDY AND THICK AT 1 3/4" IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THERE'S A FEW SPOTS THAT THE WOOD SLIGHTLY SEPERATED BUT IT IS FULLY INTACT AND THE GLASS IS VERY SECURE. IT IS PROBABLY FROM THE 1920 ERA. ONE SIDE IS WOOD AND THE OTHER SIDE IS PAINTED BLUE. PAINT IS CHIPPY. THIS WOOD BE GREAT TO USE AS A WINDOW OR A WALL HANGING IN A SHABBY CHIC ROOM. Panes of soft purple and green slag glass are contrasted with deep green and amber tones as well as a central faceted glass circle to create an interesting and unified piece. The stained glass comes in a painted wood architectural frame. This piece is in good condition. However there are some cracks to a pane in the top corner.
