Vintage Clergy Vestment beautiful stole veil and maniple set very nice metalic
This is the most beautiful set I have listed. In my opinion, and is in very good condition for being what seems to be very old. The sale includes all seen in the photo's, the stole, the veil and maniple. They show signs of some wear but all are very clean and have no spills or stain on them that I can find. The felt appliques seem to sag from years of hanging possibly. This set has a lot of sparkle left in it and glitters more than my pictures may show and have the same beautiful silk lining. The stole measures from top to bottom of fringe 47" and is 5" wide at the bottom and is 3" wide at the top. The veil is 22" x 22" The maniple is 17" long and has it's applique on one side only. I am trying very hard not to call this a set but I really don't think it is. Although. Each piece has the exact same pattern, design and shade of color. All the gold appliques are the same shade of gold and I think pertain. Two of the pieces have a red silk lining and the other two have gold silk. Each piece is very clean with no spills, dirt or stains. The stole measures from the top to bottom of the fringe 57" long and is 4 1/2" wide at the bottom and is 3" wide at the top. Antique Green Chasuble and Stole for Catholic Priest, Clergy Vestment for Mass
Beautiful Antique Green Chasuble and Stole for Mass This is an antique green chasuble and stole set for the celebration of the Mass. It is in good condition with very little wear. The material is of a kelly green that is much more Roman than the darker forest green color that is often produced today. The back is embroidered with a cross that is composed of flowers with the iconic IHS in the center. The front is a simple pillar composed in the same theme as the back. There are two strings that are used to secure the vestment around the waist of the priest. The matching stole is in very good condition and its adorned with metallic fringe on the bottom. It has a sewn cloth around the neck to absorb any sweat that may damage the material. The only sign of age and wear is found on the front between the embroidered part of the vestment. The cloth ... moreis slightly distressed and is beginning to fray. This can be seen in the photos 6& 7 provided above. Aside from this. The lining is in excellent condition for its age. This unique Clergy Stole is made of woven lamb's wool by the Cistercian monks in Spencer. Mass. Under the name of the Holy Rood Guild they produce beautiful vesture. This Stole has a plain red lining and includes yarn in the colors of purple, gold, black, rust or orange in an original design. The second picture makes it look blue instead of purple.
