Faceted genuine crystal, the paters are larger and have ornate sterling caps. This is a good size Rosary for a French Genuine Crystal Nouveau Rosary. The middle medal is a beautiful Filigree Ave Maria Insignia. A French silver punch mark is above the bottom bail on the back. The hanging length is just over 20" The Stunning thick filigree crucifix is 1 5/8" long and is hallmarked on the bail with the French silver punch. A French Sacred Heart with Our Lady of Mt. Carmel on the reverse is hanging next to the Crucifix. This Rosary does need to be cleaned and polished. There is patina also. Words do not describe ... morethis Rosary. T his is a Treasure. This is a beautiful vintage rosary made of faceted 12mm Swarovski crystal beads and Sterling Silver; some of the beads are capped. The rosary ends with an ornate and detailed Sterling Silver Crucifix. The sterling centerpiece is equally detailed with the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the front and a smaller image of the Madonna with a burning heart on the other side(mark sterling) The rosary measures 27-1/4" from the tip of the crucifix to the back bead(really long) The cross alone is 2.36 x 1.57" 60mmx 40mm) The chain sections and the wires that string the beads have been tested and they too are sterling. The rosary has a beautiful dark gray patina in very good vintage condition.

The centerpiece shows the true age of the rosary and probably dates to the 1800's. The cross is not original. I repeat, the cross is not original I added a cross in a similar style to the center piece but it is only an approximation. I received the rosary without a cross. You may change the cross to something more appropriate if you wish. Condition: Overall the original pieces are in great condition. The ebony wood seems a little dry but this could be from age. This amazing Rosary is done in Ivory and Sterling Silver Beads. Created in the Byzantine style of rosaries used by monks of the San Juan de la Pena monastery. This beautiful Rosary measures 41 inches long. The silver metal cross measures 3.75 X 2.25 inches. Truly an incredible piece of Christian art. VINTAGE/ANTIQUE 1800's STERLING SILVER CRYSTAL BEADS ROSARY; UNIQUE CRYSTALS
This Rosary necklace is an Antique sterling silver piece with amazing light blue almost tear drop shaped crystals. I'm not sure what this shape is called since I have never seen it before. It comes to a pointed tear drop at one end but the top is flat. They are faceted so they catch the light exquisitely. There's a total of 59 beads, see last pic with the date 1830 imprinted under the virgin. There is some normal wear from age, but once cleaned properly I'm sure it will look like new! ANTIQUE and VERY SPECIAL ROSARY. Most unusual Sterling Silver Rosary with Mother Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the opposite side of the center charm. The Cross of Jesus is very Beautiful and has an engraving on the backside. Although I can't make out the name. It has Beautiful Silver Beads on the Rosary. The Cross is Two inches long X one& 1/4" wide. Total length of Rosary(top to bottom) 21 inches This is a Rare Collector's Item. I purchased this 45 years ago in a New England Antique Shop for $600.00. I'm sure it is worth much more than that now. ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER & HAND CUT TEARDROP CRYSTAL LONG ROSARY~ORNATE CRUCIFIX
Gorgeous antique large Sterling Silver and hand cut crystal(possibly rock crystal) rosary measuring when worn 23 1/2" long. Each crystal is completely hand cut which I hope you can see in my photographs. They measure approximately 8.5mm X 8.5mm. No 2 are exactly the same as they are all hand cut so sizes very slightly vary. They are all connected with a Sterling chain passing right through them. The rosary has a large and very ornate Sterling crucifix. Its detail and intricacy are beautiful and very ornate. Crucifix measures about 2 1/4" x 1 1/2" It as well as the finely engraved centerpiece are stamped STERLING. Rosary weighs a substantial 63 grams and is in excellent all original condition. this is a stunningly large very high quality antique sterling silver and cut crystal rosary/ prayer beads The cross and medallion are both stamped"Sterling" the crucifix is very large. Orate, and dimensional. It has a nice patina from age but can be shined up if desired. It is made of three pieces and riveted together. the pendant in the middle of the beads is double sided and also very detailed done in high relief. One side has a depiction of Virgin Mary and baby Jesus and the other is Jesus alone. the beads are cut from crystal and have lots of cuts in each bead. Kind of like a disco ball shape. they are very heavy. all beads are held together by handmade silver link chains. the piece is in great shape and measures 23 3/4 inches long. the cross alone measures 2 1/4 inches long. exquisitely large high quality rosary. Up for auction is this stunning vintage Rosary. This Rosary has hand cut crystal beads and fabulous sterling silver details. The cross and cyrstals are quite large. It is signed sterling twice and the cross also has another mark that I can not make out. It is 27 in long and the cross is 2 1/4 inches long X 1 1/2 inches wide. The cut crystals are 3/8 of an inch wide. The cross has amazing details and the crystals shimmer. This is quite a lovely vintage piece with a quality feel in it's size and weight. Antique Vtg Sterling Silver Rosary Cross Bead Necklace Cursifix Pendant
For your consideration is a vintage sterling silver rosary. The crucifix and center pendant is marked sterling on the back of the these items. see pictures. It is unknown if the beads are sterling silver. I have looked on EBay guidelines on how to test for sterling silver. I have used a magnet on the crucifix and pendant. The magnet does not have a reaction with the metal which is an indicator that the items are sterling. A cotton white cloth has been rubbed on the beads. Crucifix and pendant. which leave black on the white cotton cloth. The beads do not react to the magnet. Without the beads being stamped sterling I cannot say for sure that they are sterling. Buyer be advised they might be just metal. The rosary was found from an estate sale. The rosary measures a total of 24 inches long. If you have questions ask.
