Two Laminated Religious cards to this lot. Roman Catholic St. Joseph of Cupertino is the patron Saint of Aviation. Astronauts, and mental handicaps. Information ... moreon Relics: Relic card reads"Ex Induments" which is Latin for"from the clothing" This phrase was originally designated for 2nd Class Relics ONLY as they were from the clothing of the Saints or Blessed individuals; however. Contemporary relic manufacturers have been using the phrase as a way to identify 3rd Class Relics as well. Making it difficult to identify the correct class of Relics. 3rd Class Relics are pieces of cloth. Canvas, or any item that has touched the to a First or Second Class Relic of the Saint the intent that it be a Third Class Relic. In the case of a 3rd Class Relic. The Catholic Church states may be given to individuals and may be sold; unlike the 1st Class Relic which the Catholic Church does not allow the sale of. In the case of the 4th Class Relic, they are are virtually the same as Third Class Relics. The Third Class Relics on the Medals: These are typically what you purchase on a Pilgrimage to a Shrine of a Saint. When you look at the back of a medal and see a small piece of cloth set in red that small piece of cloth is the relic. The outer edge will either have raised lettering or engraving that reads“EX INDUMENTIS” Latin for"touched cloth" You will notice that all of these medals are made in Italy as they are sanctioned by the Vatican. When properly reverenced. Relics are considered to be powerful Sacramentals, in order for this to occur, the Church recommends ALL Relics to be blessed by a Deacon or Priest of the Roman Catholic Church. Relics are NOT to be taken lightly! These are considered precious gifts from our Holy Saints and to be treated with reverence and respect. Dimensions: approximately 3 7/8 inches high by approximately 2 5/16 inches wide Condition: New. Mint to near mint. Angel prayer card holder is for illustrative purposes only; it is NOT included. He served the cook, gave food to the poor at the door, swept the house, and carried baskets of bread and other food to the indigent. The many wrongs and injuries which God permitted to be done him; the many persecutions which he innocently suffered; the pains of several maladies, all these he bore, not only with Christian patience, but with joy and a desire to suffer still more. He often prayed most earnestly to God to give him still greater crosses, as he believed that his

Relic of St. Anthony of Padua. Patron Saint for Finding Lost Articles Click to see supersized image Click to see supersized image Click to see supersized image This auction is for a gold color theca containing an important relic of St. Anthony. Wax seal and threads are intact. You are bidding on the theca. The relic is a gift to the highest bidder. Feast Day 13 June Biography Anthony’s wealthy family wanted him to be a great nobleman. But for the sake of Christ he became a poor Franciscan Priest. When the remains of Saint Berard and his companions. The first Franciscan martyrs, were brought to be buried in his church, Anthony was moved to leave his order, enter the Friars Minor, and go to Morocco to evangelize. Shipwrecked at Sicily, he joined some other brothers who were going to the church in Portiuncula. Lived in a cave at San Paolo leaving ... moreonly to attend Mass and sweep the nearby monastery. One day when a scheduled speaker failed to appear, the brothers pressed him into speaking. He impressed them so that he was thereafter constantly travelling, evangelizing, preaching, and teaching theology through Italy and France. A gifted speaker. He attracted crowds everywhere he went, speaking in multiple tongues; legend says that even the fish loved to listen. Miracle worker. One of the most beloved of saints, his images and statues are found everywhere– though none of them portray him as a heavy-set man, which some reports claim he was. Proclaimed a Doctor of the Church on 16 January 1946. One source of the well-known patronage for the recovery of lost objects comes from a legend that. Long after Anthony’s death, his old prayer book was kept as a treasured relic, and one day it disappeared. People prayed for help in finding the lost item, a novice found it and returned it; he later admitted that he had“borrowed” the book and returned it after receiving a vision of an angry Anthony. Born 1195 at Lisbon. Portugal Died 13 June 1231 of natural causes Canonized 30 May 1232 by Pope Gregory IX at Spoleto. Italy Patronage a

St. Gemma Galgani 2nd Class RELIC Card 4 1/2" x 2 1/2" Great Relic Card of Saint
St.Gemma Galgani is one of the most loved saints who ever lived. She died at the age of only 24. Of TB. She was a Passionist Order Stigmatist. She bore the holes of Christ from His Passion, she was very loyal& brave to the very end. She was not too healthy& should never have asked Our Lord for the Stigmatism, but she had to do it, it did not help her life or the extent that she may have lived longer if she had not delved into the Passion of Christ, but there was no stopping this brave girl. She was someone who I would have loved to know. I give her a big hand, as I wanted the Stigmata also& my husband wanted to kill me for even suggesting it. But not everyone can do it, it takes a very brave& gutsy individual to be able to do it. Good Luck! by adding my eBay Store to your FavoritesCheck out my!Be sure to add me to your! Born in the family castle in Lombardy near Naples, Italy. Educated by Benedictine monks at Monte Cassino, and at the University of Naples. He secretly joined the mendicant Dominican friars in 1244. His family kidnapped and imprisoned him for a year to keep him out of sight, and deprogram him, but ... morethey failed to sway him, and he rejoined his order in 1245. He studied in Paris. France from 1245 to 1248 under Saint Albert the Great, then accompanied Albertus to Cologne, Germany. Ordained in 1250, then returned to Paris to teach. Taught theology at University of Paris. He won his doctorate, and taught in several Italian cities. Recalled by king and university to Paris in 1269, then recalled to Naples in 1272 where he was appointed regent of studies while working on the Summa Theologica. On 6 December 1273 he experienced a divine revelation which so enraptured him that he abandoned the Summa. Saying that it and his other writing were so much straw in the wind compared to the reality of the divine glory. He died four months later while en route to the Council of Lyons, overweight and with his health broken by overwork. His works have been seminal to the thinking of the Church ever since. A small village in Venetia, Italy, on June 2, 1835. His name, prior to his election as pope, was Joseph Sarto. He lived in a poor family- one of eight children. He was baptized on June 3, 1835, and confirmed on September 1, 1848. He was ordained a priest at the age of 33 and worked for seventeen years as a parish priest before becoming Bishop of Mantua. In 1892, Joseph Sarto advanced to the metropolitan see of Venice with the honorary title of patriarch. On August 4, 1903, he was elected Pope of the Holy Catholic Church. Personally, he is one of my favorite popes in history. Pope St. Pius X announced in his first encyclical that his papacy would seek to"to renew all things in Christ. He is primarily remembered for allowing children to receive First Holy Communion at a much younger age- the age of 7 instead of 12 or 14. He said. Holy Communion is the shortest and safest way to Heaven. Consequently, he encouraged frequent reception of Holy Communion. He is also remembered for bringing Gregorian Chant back, e

St Peter Claver"Ex Indumentis" Relic of Saint Blessed to Relic of Saint Your Relic will be Blessed to 40 Relics on the Altar Saint Peter Claver. Confessor P eter Claver was a Spanish Jesuit. In Majorca he fell in with the holy lay-brother Alphonsus Rodriguez. Who, having already learned by revelation the saintly career of Peter, became his spiritual guide, foretold to him the labours he would undergo in the Indies, and the throne he would gain in heaven. Ordained priest in New Granada, Peter was sent to Cartagena, the great slave-mart of the West Indies; and there he consecrated himself by vow to the salvation of those ignorant and miserable creatures. For more than forty years he laboured in this work. He called himself'the slave of the slaves. He was their apostle, father, physician, and friend. He fed them, nursed them with ... morethe utmost tenderness in their loathsome diseases, often applying his own lips to their hideous sores. His cloak, which was the constant covering of the naked, though soiled with their filthy ulcers, sent forth a miraculous perfume. His rest after his great labours was in nights of penance and prayer. However spent he might be, when news arrived of a fresh slave-ship, Blessed Peter immediately revived, his eyes brightened, and he was at once on board amongst his dear slaves, bringing them comfort for body and soul. A false charge of reiterating baptism for a while stopped his work. He submitted without a murmur till the calumny was refuted, and then God so blessed his toil that 40,000 negroes were baptized before he went to his reward in 1654. Charity to our Neighbor. W hen you see any one standing in need of your assistance. Either for body or soul, do not ask yourself why someone else did not help him, but think to yourself that you have found a treasure. Do thou seek nothing in this world save that which Jesus Christ Himself has sought-to sanctify souls, to work, to suffer, nay, to die for their salvation.Blessed Peter Claver. W hen Easter came. A real piece of history, a piece of fabric touched to the relic in Rome. Leather booklet with Pope X seal in the front. It has been owned by a nun who kept it with special care in her collection since it was issued. Pope Saint Pius X(Ecclesiastical Latin: Pius PP. X) 2 June 1835– 20 August 1914) Born Giuseppe Melchiorre Sarto, was the 257th Pope of the Catholic Church, serving from 1903 to 1914. He was the first pope since Pope Pius V to be canonized. Pius X rejected modernist interpretations of Catholic doctrine, promoting traditional devotional practices and orthodox theology. His most important reform was to publish the first Code of Canon ... moreLaw, which collected the laws of the Church into one volume for the first time. He was a pastoral pope, encouraging personal piety and a lifestyle reflecting Christian values. He was born in the town of Riese, which would later append"Pio X" Pius X's name in Italian) to the town's name. Pius was particularly devoted to Mary; his encyclical Ad Diem Illum expresses his desire through Mary to renew all things in Christ. Which he had defined as his motto in his first encyclical. Pius believed that there is no surer or more direct road than by the Virgin Mary to achieve this goal.1] Pius X was the only Pope in the 20th century with extensive pastoral experience at the parish level, citation needed] and pastoral concerns permeated his papacy; he favoured the use of the vernacular in catechesis. Frequent communion was a lasting innovation of his papacy. Pius X, like Pope Pius IX, was considered by some[who? to be too outspoken or brusque. His direct style and condemnations did not gain him much support in the aristocratic societies of pre–World War I Europe. ONE ONLY! DON'T MISS OUT THIS OPPORTUNITY! Check out my! Rare Catholic Saint's Relic, ST. DANIEL BROTTIER Devotee of St. Therese o
Elevated in 1984 St. Daniel Brottier was one of the most startling cases of physical incorruption in modern times- also an astonishing number of miracles have been attributed to him since. St. Brossier was a French chaplain during WWI and six times miraculously avoided death in a hail of gunfire etc. He staunchly attributed these miracles to St. Therese of Liseux of whom he was a great devotee. Those who love Little Therese will especially treasure this thread of garment held and used by the saint. At the time this was made(to raise money for Spiritan charities) St. Brottier had not even been distinguished as a Blessed. A brave. Cheerful and manly symbol of French Catholicism, he tried fulfilling his dream of living in a monastery but he didn't last more than a few weeks- he was a man of action! LOW. St Clare of Assisi 3th Class Cloth Relic +Certificate +Holy Card of Saint
St Clare of Assisi St Clare of Assisi 3 Class Cloth Relic Born on July 16. 1194, St. Clare of Assisi was the first woman to follow St. Francis. At 18 years old, after listening to the Lenten preaching of St. Francis, she decided to follow him. St. Francis accepted her wish when she presented herself to him after running away from home. He cut her hair as a sign of her commitment to the Gospel. The first persons to follow her were her own sister and mother. Soon, her convent would be filled with other young women. She was privileged to receive visions, one of which was to witness the death of her beloved Francis who died 400 kilometers away from her convent. Her biographers described her as St. Francis’ chief rival in the imitation of the poor Christ. Once she said: They say that we are too poor, but can a heart which possesses the infinite ... moreGod be truly called poor? St. Clare’s prayers stopped rouge soldiers from destroying Assisi, and while still alive, like St. Francis, attracted pilgrims who wanted to see a living saint. She died on August 11, 1253 and was declared patroness of all those with eye problems. Novena to St. Clare of Asissi Copy of Authentic is included. This auction is for a Certificate of Authenticity(COA) and a very small silver color theca containing an important relic of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton. Wax seal and threads are intact. You are bidding on the theca. The COA and relic. Note: theca is about 3/4 inch in diameter. Biography Born into a wealthy and influential Episcopalian family. The daughter of a Dr Richard Bayley; Elizabeth was raised in the New York high society of the late 18th century. Her mother died when Elizabeth was three years old, her baby sister a year later. In 1794 at age 19 she married the wealthy businessman William Magee Seton, and was the mother of five. About ten years into the marriage, William’s business failed, and soon after he died of tuberculosis, leaving Elizabeth an impoverished widow with five small children. For years Elizabeth had felt drawn to Catholicism, ... morebelieving in the Real Presence in the Eucharist and in the lineage of the Church going back to Christ and the Apostles. She converted to Catholicism, entering the Church on 14 March 1805, alienating many of her strict Episcopalian family in the process. To support her family, and insure the proper education of her children, she opened a school in Boston. Though a private and secular institution, from the beginning she ran it along the lines of a religious community. At the invitation of the archbishop, she established a Catholic girl‘s school in Baltimore, Maryland which initiated the parochial school system in America. To run the system she founded the Sisters of Charity in 1809, the first native American religious community for women. There is a loop on top to put chain through if preferred.
