Was Bishop of Augsburg and a leader of the Roman Catholic Church in Germany. He was the first saint to be canonized. Ulrich was born in 890 at Kyburg, Zurich in present-day Switzerland. He was the son of Hupald, Count of Dillingen(d. 909) and Dietpirch of Swabia(also known as Theoberga) and was connected with the dukes of Alamannia. His maternal grandfather was Burchard I. Here is a beautiful religious antique! It is a made of cast bronze and weighs more than 15 pounds. It is heavy! It depicts the Last Supper. My grandmother bought it 53 years ago at an antique shop in Illinois. Other than that. I don't know much about it. It looks like there were bronze screws on the back, as seen in the picture. It has a stand soldered to it on the back. It is in really nice shape with only 2 small spots of tarnish. It is a really nice piece! I wish I knew more about it. Looks like it belonged in a church!
