White Parian Porcelain Jonquil Pitcher American Mid 19th Century (reproduction)
Offered today is the pretty parian porcelain pitcher with an applique decoration of lazy jonquils or daffodils and arching leaves in high relief. Parian ware. An unglazed porcelain resembling Parian marble was widely used for statuettes, pitchers, vases, trinket boxes, and tableware. The process for producing parian ware was developed by the Copeland factory in England in the 1840s, and later it was introduced to the Bennington factory in Vermont. This pitcher is a reproduction of an original mid 19th century pitcher donated to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York by Dr. Charles W. Green in 1947. This is such a pretty. Graceful Parian pitcher. I am not a good photographer, and my pictures do not do it justice. It looks even better in person, and it has a substantial weight to it for its size. It could be used to hold flowers, paint ... morebrushes, kitchen utensils, or whatever you may have need of it. Of course, it will also work fine as either a pitcher or a very elegant watering can even. Display in in virtually any room of the house. This pitcher is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. It stands approximately 8.75 inches tall and 6.5 inches across. The inside is very clean as I have never put any liquids in it. It was displayed for a while on a farmhouse cupboard with silk flowers. So charming and versatile. It would blend in beautifully with either a Victorian. Cottage, Shabby, or farmhouse decor scheme.

1800s 19th Century Antique Majolica Pitcher Floral - Dogwood Blossoms and Branch
Here is a wonderful piece of very old majolica. I know very alittle about it except I picked it up at an estate sale. The posessions were of a 93 yr old woman. Even in its present condition it was obviously cherished. The pitcher a crack from the rim tracing down towars the hanlde. The item is very stable and I've picked it up by the handle many times to ensure it's stability. There is also a chip along the rim(see picture) that is also very old. There are some places missinging glaze; however. I believe this is original to the item and not damage- you be the judge. It measure 6 1/2" in height and is 3 3/4" in diameter at the rim. The handle itself is 4" in height. There are no manufacturer marking on the bottom. I'm not well versed in Majolica so please feel free to contact me if you have any questions and. I will ... moredo my best to answer them for you: Thanks for Looking and Happy Bidding! 0fe.RcmdId ViewItemDescV4,RlogId p4%60bo7%60jtb9%3Fuk%601d70f%2B%3E0fe-1489996f7b9-0x105-

RARE 19th Century English Blue Spatterware Staffordshire Pearlware Pitcher Bowl
This is a very RARE& Beautiful Antique 19th Century Pitcher& Bowl set. An original set not a marriage of two different pieces. A wonderful blue spatterware or spongeware(depending on who you talk to) with a gorgeous Pearlware glaze. Which is bright white and in the corners has a light bluish tinge to it(because of the cobalt which was added to the glaze) The pitcher is a wonderful tall and large bulbous pitcher with flared foot and wide spout. With an applied ornate handle. The top of the bulbous portion of the body and just above the foot has a nice molded line band around it. The bowl has blue decoration inside and out. Which I couldn't find many that had decoration on the outside of the bowl. The bowl has a lined border band around the top edge of the bowl as well. Has a small flared foot. Wide top edge. The pitcher measures ... moreapprox. 10-1/4" by 8-1/2" and the bowl 13-1/2" by 4-3/8" The pair is in amazing condition. Usually this type or pottery is chips. Cracked or stained. The only issues with these pieces are the handle is applied to the body and where it meets the body on the left hand side is a space. Not a crack or broken. Just a slight space where it meets the body. The bowl has some minor wear in the bottom base of it inside. Where the pitcher sat and scuffed it up. There are no chips, cracks or repairs or stains. Amazing this piece has survived in this condition! It is unmarked on the bottom. Not even a registry mark. Which I think means it pre-dates the use of it in the 1940s.

Antique Staffordshire Pearlware Cream Syrup Pitcher 19th Century England
This is a small size pitcher either for cream or syrup. It measures 4" tall and all over pearl like solid cream color. The design is on one side of a lady leaning into a young girl. It appears they are seated within a grape arbor which continues around the pitcher. There is no damage on this piece which I believe dates from 1870's or 80's and is clearly of English Staffordshire region. A classic English countryside look. Email with questions or information. Thanks for looking and please check my other listings.

Remarkable Victorian Hand Painted Copper LusterLusterware Pitcher 19th Century
Beautiful Copper Lusterware Lustre Pitcher This is a wonderful antique. Large hand-painted Victorian copper Luster Pitcher. The pitcher is quite beautiful for its age. It is exquisitely detailed with floral and leaf hand painted details going all around. It measures 6 inches tall by 71/2 inches from one end of the spout to the end of the handle. An interesting note is this pitcher was so well preserved that the documentation is still with it. There are notes about the family that owned it. When it was handed down to other family members. One note states that in 1972 it was well over 136 years of age. This documentation will be included with the purchase. It would be a fine addition to your collection. Have any questions? Do not hesitate to contact me! It will be my pleasure to serve you!
