Etruscan Majolica Pitcher Cherry Blossom Pattern 1878-1892
This is a pristine example of the masters art. It is unique and in mint condition with the exception of a small flea bite on the upper rim and a very small hairline on the upper lip about 1 inch long. These are very small so I hope the photos show them. In my opinion these blemishes do not detract from display. The pitcher measuers 7 inches tall with a 3 3/8 inch base. I Pack Professionally.

Vintage if not antique Senator England Semi-Porcelain flow blue pitcher in the Cliff pattern features blue floral design at top and remnants of gold-tone accents along rim and handle. Measures 8-1/4" tall at tallest point x approx. 6" wide at body. 7" long at top from handle end to end of spout x 4-1/2" wide. Marked on bottom with a blue crown logo and"Senator Crown Semi-Porcelain" with a ribbon and words that have mostly rubbed out but begin with a"C" which we believe originally indicated the Cliff pattern. And"England" Raised portion on bottom has numbers that are difficult to make out but that we read as"No. 24819" This is a used piece and has several flaws. Approximately 1" long hairline crack on lip of pitcher that is visible on both inside and outside. 4" scuff mark ... moreon one of the ribs on the body beginning at base and going up to middle of piece that we originally thought was a hairline crack. But is smooth to the touch and does not show through on inside. Significant. Heavy visible crazing on entire surface of piece inside and out. Significant discoloration and browning of piece inside and out. Multiple visible scuff marks and scratches throughout the piece. Inside and out. Visible wear to gold tone along rim and handle. With only remnants of the gold tone remaining. Visible scuffing. Wear, several small flea bites and roughness to bottom side bottom rim. This looks like a hand painted pitcher of some sort. I was told it was a lemonade pitcher. But it looks kind of small for that. It is almost 5 inches tall at the lip. It has lovely strawberries painted on it and a nice green band all the way around. The bottom has two crossed swords and in the top there is a crown, under that on the left is a R and the right a C. On the bottom is what looks like a butterfly or bird, but I'm not sure. There is also a word below that but I can't read it. This pitcher is signed by the handle"Jennie Sokolfield and either 1911 or 1811. It has no chips or cracks. Please feel free to ask any questions.

This is a vintage tall pitcher and basin with a rose medalion pattern. It is estate sale find so age and manufacturer are unknown. It is numbered 1010 in gold hand painting. It is in good vintage condition with a bright floral pattern. There is a chip on the bottom rim of the pitcher. There are three small chips on the rim of the basin and two chips on the bottom rim of the basin. There are cracks in the glaze where the handles attach. The cups or mugs vary a little and measure approximately 3½" high x 2½ wide(top) 2" wide(bottom) I believe this is called yellow ware pottery, and all pieces are in nice condition given age. There is slight crazing which in my opinion gives this set loads of character! One glass has a sliver chip, I was going to throw it away and decided to add it in case anyone wanted to fix it. on a good note the chip is out of the backside of the tumbler and doesn't show when displayed. Alcock 1840's Large Orient Pattern Pitcher- $250-$300 Value!
Skylite Antiques& Collectibles WELCOME! Offered in excellent condition is an antique Pitcher from Samuel Alcock circa 1840s. The pattern name is called Orient and features panels of cherubs or cupids and maidens and even a Harvest scene. I am not sure how the beautiful decorations on the pitcher correspond to the pattern name. But that is the name. It is even impressed into the footrim. The pitcher is not marked other than the pattern name but it is easily identified in multiple books regarding parian ware as an Alcock creation. Samuel Alcock was in business in Staffordshire England from 1828 til 1853. His parian ware is considered by many to be the best. The background color appears as a pale greenish gray with striking pure white ornamentation. The handle is shaped like a Scaled lizard or dragon. It is just barely under 8 inches tall ... moreand is approximately 8 1/2 inches wide. There are no cracks, chips or flakes. The inside is glazed so the pitcher can be used. It is in extremely clean condition too with no mars or scrapes or spots on the finish. It does have an occasional tiny black speck from within which is common to this type ware and not considered a flaw. Turner& Sons Benedick transfer pattern pitcher(ewer) and bowl set in blue and white in overall very good antique condition.The bowl measures at 14 1/2" in diameter and 5" in height.The pitcher/ewer measures at 10 7/8" in height,8" in diameter at the widest parts of the bowl(not including handle) and the square spout opening is 4 1/4" wide.This was a part of the"Aesthtic Movement" production that was popular at the time.G.W. Turner& Sons pottery works were located in Tunstall,England and they produced pottery from 1875-1893. Still very pretty with fine detail work. No chips but it does have a crack at the base and is still a great display piece in a rare pattern. Measures 6 5/8" tall. Alcock 1840's Large Orient Pattern Pitcher - Nude Cherubs
Skylite Antiques& Collectibles Nude Cherubs WELCOME! Offered in excellent condition is an antique Pitcher from Samuel Alcock circa 1840s. The pattern name is called Orient and features panels of cherubs or cupids and maidens and even a Harvest scene. I am not sure how the beautiful decorations on the pitcher correspond to the pattern name. But that is the name. It is even impressed into the footrim. The pitcher is not marked other than the pattern name but it is easily identified in multiple books regarding parian ware as an Alcock creation. Samuel Alcock was in business in Staffordshire England from 1828 til 1853. His parian ware is considered by many to be the best. The background color appears as a pale greenish gray with striking pure white ornamentation. The handle is shaped like a Scaled lizard or dragon. It is in extremely clean condition too with no mars or scrapes or spots on the finish. Offered here is a very pretty Chintz Pitcher by an unknown maker but I believe it is quite old. The pitcher measures 5 3/4" tall and is 5 1/2" from spout to handle. It is very colorful with red and blue flowers along with the green foliage and green markings. It is some what ribbed with nice lines. I used to live in England for 4 years and owned a few. This one is a lovely pattern with colors that will go with most anything. Pitcher is 12 1/2 by 10 and base is 16 by 5. Bowl has a small chip on the rim and two slightly larger ones. As shown, under lip. Bottom of both pieces are marked. because of the sizes I will probably send in two boxes for safety.
