$15.43 Shipping Location: Acton, United States Here's a beautiful. 19th century redware pitcher in very good condition! Thick, rugged, and heavy, this piece has an ovoid shape with a wide midsection. ... moreIt has a gorgeous blend of colors including mustard, brown, and greens. The glaze& oxides were somehow applied in a manner where it didn't adhear in certain places and other parts were not glazed at all, including the bottom. In other areas the glaze is drizzled or running downward. When fired, interesting characteristics were created including mottling and a speckled effect. The unglazed red portions have an original, grungy patina that's the result of past use, places it was kept, and the passage of time. Oddly enough. There's some sort of slip decoration on the front, under the spout, that is difficult to discern. It probably was a name or some sort of writing and part of a date where a mistake was made and the entire piece was glazed over in this unique manner to cover it up. It looks like a capital letter C with a last name under it, followed by 1874 or 1879, perhaps. The way the piece was glazed as well as wear and tear makes it very difficult to make out. In fact, we didn't really notice the writing until after viewing one of the photos while posting this auction. It's an interesting peak into the history of this old pitcher and perhaps if you are skilled, you may be able to determine what it says under that glaze. Regardless. This is a very attractive piece of pottery that also has decorative incised bands, an applied handle, a charming country-style shape, and of course its very nice coloring. It measures 10 1/4 inches high while the diameter of the bottom is 4 1/8 inches. The opening of the pitcher is 5 1/4 inches including the spout and the widest point in the middle is 7 1/2 inches. It weighs over 4 pounds. We found no cracks or hairlines, only some old pitting on the interior that isn't structurally significant. There is surface wear and loss of glaze but nothing that detracts from its beauty. This piece is still even

EXQUISITE c1840-1860 GOTHIC ENGLISH SALT GLAZED PORCELAIN PITCHER/EWER
EXQUISITE c1840-1860 GOTHIC ENGLISH SALT GLAZED PORCELAIN PITCHER/EWER Presented is a very fine English salt glazed porcelain pitcher. This piece dates to circa 1840-1860. The pitcher is very ornate and very Gothic in style. The exterior features figures of saints or clerics standing in arched alcoves. The top of the handle has two faces of stately bearded men. This piece is in near perfect condition. As one of the photos shows. There is a slight discoloration on one of the faces on the handle. For your consideration: A Early Frankoma Pottery Prairie Green Guernsey Pitcher#93. The Pitcher measures 6 1/2" in height with the lid on.height. It is 4 1/2" at it widest point(middle of pitcher) and the base is 2 3/4" in diameter. The bottom of the pitcher is unglazed. Revealing the Red Sapulpa Oklahoma clay. It is marked: 93 FRANKOMA. The FRANKOMA marking looks to be done with one of the metal incisied stamps that were destroyed in the 1938 fire. I strongly believe that the pitcher was made in the 1940's or 1950's. This is a true Collector's Piece due to it's pristine condition. Age, design, coloration and patterning. Thanks for viewing my Frankoma listing.I have much. Much more Frankoma listed along with Wedgwood, Crystal, and all kinds of collectibles. 8" Antique Glazed Stoneware Pitcher-Star Stoneware, Crooksville, OH-c 1910
Offered is this antique dark brown glazed stoneware pitcher. It features a basketweave or waffle design all the way around with a zig-zag line around the top and bottom and two large bunches of grapes. One on either side. The bottom is marked with an impressed star. My Internet research finds that this was the mark of the Star Stoneware Co. of Crooksville. Ohio. In business from 1892 to 1945. What I have read indicates this particular mark was used during the 1900-1910 period. The pitcher is 8” high and about 5 1/2” across at its widest point near the bottom. It is in very good condition. There are no cracks or scratches. There are three or four very small spots where the glazing is missing. I’m not sure if they are chips or places that were never glazed in the first place. I have many other antique and vintage items listed on eBay as well. ... moreClick this link to see all of my.

VINTAGE LARGE GLAZED CERMAIC PITCHER (8 1/4" TALL) - UNMARKED - ONE SMALL DEFECT
99¢ STARTING BID- NO RESERVE- Here is a really charming old Milk. Beer or? cermaic pitcher just as found in an old New England Kitchen. The piece has no marking or logo that I can find. There is on small"chip" on the upper part of the handle. My bet guess is that this was actually a defect in the making but I am certainly no authority. There do not appear to be anyh other chips, cracks or other signs of damage. In any event it should be well worth the very low 99¢ starting bid. TERMS: Buyer pays actual shipping costs

Antique Painted Porcelain Glazed Ceramic Syrup Pitcher Hinged Pewter (?) Lid
544x376 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE You are bidding on a beautifully decorative painted ceramic or porcelain pitcher with a hinged metal lid that looks to be pewter. Approximately 8” x 4” From my great-grandmother’s house in Boston. Massachusetts where I grew up, this lovely piece now needs another home. I have seen it in a glass display cabinet ever since I was little, and I am now 60 years old! It was lovingly kept out of the light and moisture. The handle must have been repaired a long. Long time ago, because I had never noticed the two small cracks until now. They actually blend in with the gold painted decoration. The handle is strong and functional. The lid is attached with original rivets and the hinge is tight and straight. It has not been cleaned or polished in over 60 years. Only dusted! I am not sure of the metal. ... moreBut it is very similar to old pewter. There is one small chip on the base that is barely noticeable. It also fits in with the decoration. The only marking visble is the numeral‘20’ impressed into the base. Opening bid $25.00. We always treat our fragile objects with the utmost care. And will carefully bubble wrap and protectively package it for shipping. A small handling charge of $5.00 is added for the proper box, packing materials and our time. Posted with

Chocolate Glazed Stoneware Earthenware Crock Pitcher
Rich deep chocolate brown color. Inside and out, on this 8 inches tall pitcher. The glaze is very shiny. The bottom of the pitcher has felt strips to keep the surface from being scratched. The pitcher measures 8" tall. 7" wide, spout to handle, 5" wide just top inside diameter. The material looks like formed clay. Not sure if it is earthenware. Stoneware, or the material of old crocks. The glaze is shiny and the pitcher looks modern. Not old or antique. No cracks or chips.

The Pitcher has several lightly incised lines at the shoulder below the neck as decoration. It is glazed with a greenish-brown colored background having the dark brown splotches associated with manganese glazing. A very nice shape and rare color. Antique ALBANY SLIP Glazed Stoneware Pitcher Mid 19th Century
We are pleased to offer a beautiful antique stoneware pitcher. Finished in dark brown Albany Slip glaze. It has a smooth finish with quite a bit of glaze drip on the lower portion of the piece. A very nice find! Pottery makers across upstate New York turned out millions of pieces of utilitarian stoneware in the 19th century. It was not considered valuable and as such. Was not preserved or well cared for. Much of it was finished in a dark brown glaze called Albany Slip. The glaze was high in mineral content which accounts for the variations in color- it can be almost black to lighter shades of brown. The firing process caused color variations as well. Many of the pieces show the fingerprints of the pottery who dipped the piece into the glaze before firing. We will be offering a number of these pieces in the coming weeks. They are great for ... moreaccenting country or primitive decor. Please be sure to add us to your and check back often. Condition: Excellent- no chips or cracks. Size: 7 1/2" tall; 5 1/4" diameter at the opening and 4 3/4" diameter at the base. Shipping: Buyer to pay actual shipping costs; insurance is included as a handling fee. We are happy to combine shipping for multiple purchases. Please note that customs fees are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Returns: If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason. Antique Vintage Brown Glazed Stoneware Ceramc Swastika Pitcher Good-Luck Symbol
Antique Vintage BROWN GLAZED STONEWARE CERAMIC SWASTIKA PITCHER Good-Luck Symbol Beautiful brown stoneware pitcher featuring American Indian good-luck symbol also known as the swastika. Large pitcher measuring 8.25" tall and 7.5" wide from spout to handle. It is spotlessly clean and in good condition other than two small chips on the handle. Pictured above. I also did discover a small crack on the base. Pictured in#7 It is a well-made. Highly glazed piece but there are a few VERY small dots of missing glaze from the time of production which honestly are barely noticeable unless actively looked for. I have seen this piece described as a"Nelson-McCoy" piece. But there are no maker markings. Please any questions or comments feel free to ask. Thank you for looking. Check out my!
